Mantenna MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Card Art Reveal Teases Shadow Weaver

The Mantenna Cartoon Collection card art was revealed, which teases Shadow Weaver potentially coming to the line!

Roy Juarez and Fetch Francisco Etchart revealed the brand new card art for the 40th Anniversary She-Ra and the Princess of Power Cartoon Collection line this week, featuring She-Ra, Mantenna, and Ram Man. The hi-res art for She-Ra was revealed and today is Mantenna is getting the royal treatment! Roy also shared an Insgram story with an in-hand video of Mantenna, which can you see below:

Here is Mantenna in all of his glory! They captured his likeness really well and even nailed the aloof look on his face.

September 2, 2024 Update: Mantenna Hi-Res Card Art Reveal

Hi Res Art by the talented @manuel_eduardo_caritas and @fetch.franciscoetchart has been revealed for the upcoming Mantenna Cartoon Collection figure and we can see all the incredible detail on it, so enjoy!

Mantenna’s illustration shows off, in detail, the creature features that were lost in the Filmation series. You can imagine that Mantenna is standing over the trap door, where Mantenna’s comic relief comes in the She-Ra and the Princess of Power series.

Up close, you can see the muscle detail and he does not look as scrawny as he did in the Filmation series and we just love how Fetch illustrated these!

We also got Hi Res package images as well! The new package design is gorgeous with Hordak looming above the fiery Castle Grayskull! We get a great view of the cross sell and that new She-Ra 40th Anniversary foil logo!

August 30, 2024: Mantenna Card Art Reveal

The new card front for the 40th Anniversary She-Ra cartoon Collection figures is truly spectacular and it’s amazing to see Shadow Weaver teased as we did not get her in the She-Ra and the Princess of Power vintage collection line. We can also see the cross sell Wave 21, which also features She-Ra and Ram Man. Roy announced on his Instagram page, “📺 As Seen On “A Loss for Words.”

Here is a profile view of Mantenna and instead of coming packed with an artifact from an episode, he features a cool pop out eye action feature.

The other day, Roy Juarez and Fetch Francisco Etchart teased some exciting new card art featuring Shadow Weaver standing at Hordak’s throne so it is great to see the final render!

Shadow Weaver Tease

Shadow Weaver is a powerful sorceress and member of The Horde. She is shown as being second-in-command to Hordak, the tyrannical leader of the planet Etheria. When the infant Princess Adora was kidnapped, it was Shadow Weaver who cast a spell on her so that she would believe the deceptions of The Horde and blindly follow their evil ways. She would be amazing to see in the line because, like Octavia, she was never produced in vintage She-Ra and the Princess of Power line! Here is a concept from Cults3D as we can imagine what Shadow Weaver could like as a MOTU Origins figure.
