Painted Your Way

The Quencher they made for Toy Habits is an exclusive, one of a kind, orange plastic version. The keywords to focus on are one of a kind as Mad Force Toys will custom make Quencher to your specifications! This is not a massed produced toy so however you would the color scheme is how they will make it. Want the vendor machine color change? No problem! Want the Rocket Launcher purple? Mad Force Toys will work with you to tailor Quencher to fit into your M.A.S.K. universe. Here is an example of an orange painted version that mirror the one in the Fog on Boulder Hill episode. As you can see, the paint app and color scheme are different! This is amazing because when have you ever been in control and got to choose a color scheme and get exactly what what you want? The answer is most likely never, which makes Mad Force Toys the go to company for custom M.A.S.K. toys.

Transformation Process

The transformation from a vending machine to a rocket launcher is quite easy and fun! First you pull down the front of the vending machine from the top and bring it down all the way to the floor. From there, you will reveal the launcher with rockets nested inside. Now, these are not individual rockets that can be removed but they look amazing and would definitely make V.E.N.O.M. hightail it out there! The rocket launcher can pivot into place, like you are deploying them to launch. Then, you can slide out the door with the handle to reveal the hidden control panel. If you look closely, this version has the words M.A.S.K. in silver to match the door, which is pretty slick. There is also a canon that is mounted underneath the slide out door and you can position forward facing and now you have yourself a weapon that would strike fear into any of Miles Mayhem’s crew of misfits.

Here is a shot of the painted version in full missile deployment mode ready for action! The brighter painted orange version goes really well with Boulder Hill, but, like we mentioned before, this can be any color you want!

Fog on Boulder Hill (Episode 54)

The inspiration for Quencher came from the Fog on Boulder Hill episode where you can see an orange vending machine hiding in plain site. While Boulder Hill can convert from a gas station into a bunker, the vending machine is, well, just a vending machine! You can see it in the background as more of a prop piece as Buddy Hawks and Scott Trakker pass right by it but it does play a critical role later in the episode.

In one of the more comical parts of the episode, As T-Bob is left to his own devices to defend Boulder Hill from V.E.N.O.M., he uses the vending machine as a weapon to foil his foes but, alas, V.E.N.O.M. gets the upper hand and destroys the beautiful orange rectangle that dispenses sugary goodness!

Fog on Boulder Hill Synopsis

According to M.A.S.K wiki, here is the full synopsis of the Fog on Boulder Hill Episode:

The episode begins with Mrs. Simpson having trouble with her car and making a stop at Boulder Hill station. Here, she is recognized by Scott Tracker as her former babysitter. After a short conversation with Matt Tracker she is taken into town by Buddy Hawks, accompanied by Scott. They barely avoid a rough meeting with V.E.N.O.M. and warn Boulder Hill that trouble is at hand. The gas station goes into full defense mode and waits for the enemy. T-Bob is accidentally locked out of Boulder Hill and has to endure the battle, keeping his head low. He does, however, overhear Sly Rax talking about their objective – Mrs. Simpson’s car. The battle is short and V.E.N.O.M. retreats when they realize their target is not there. T-Bob reports to Matt that V.E.N.O.M. is after Mrs. Simpson. Worried for her and Scott’s safety, M.A.S.K. immediately moves out. They are too late however, as V.E.N.O.M. has already captured Mrs. Simpson and locked Scott in a junk room. As they retreat with their captive, the kitchen catches fire. Scott manages to escape thanks to Mrs. Simpson’s dog, Cleopatra, and begins fighting the fire as well as he can until M.A.S.K. arrives and takes over.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Simpson is not very cooperative and refuses to tell V.E.N.O.M. anything. Sly Rax returns to her house and engages M.A.S.K. in a short, but fierce attack. To the bewilderment of Matt and his friends, Rax immediately retreats after snatching Cleopatra (which he regrets soon; the dog hates him). With Cleopatra as leverage, Miles Mayhem finally forces the information he wants out of Mrs. Simpson. Again, they make their way to Boulder Hill to get their hands on the printing plates they’re after.

Matt Tracker, now certain of what V.E.N.O.M. is after, calls up T-Bob at Boulder Hill and tells him to search for the printing plates in Mrs. Simpson’s car and secure them. While the little robot is at it, V.E.N.O.M. arrives. T-Bob manages to hold them off long enough for M.A.S.K. to arrive. During the battle, the printing plates are destroyed and V.E.N.O.M. retreats, with their goal in shambles.
