The box design for the MASK Mobile Defense Unit BBTS exclusive is a powerful tribute to the original 1980s Rhino vehicle, updated in name but not in spirit. Loyal Subjects has recaptured the look and energy of the classic Kenner packaging with a bold red backdrop, explosive action scene, and dynamic transformation imagery that brings the toy to life right on the shelf. The Mobile Defense Unit—a reimagined version of the iconic Rhino big rig—is front and center in mid-transformation, with launching missiles, unfolding panels, and action-ready figures spilling out of the cab. The classic MASK logo and character artwork evoke that vintage shelf presence fans grew up with, while modern touches subtly update the aesthetic for today’s collector. The updated name may be new, but everything about this packaging screams pure ’80s MASK magic.

Once you open the box you can see all the incredible pieces laid out in the plastic tray. Then the fun begins to put on the decals.

Here you can see the MDU with Matt Tracker and Bruce Soto inside the vehicle, plus Scott Tracker and T-Bob.

If you hit one of the buttons on the back of the trailer, you make the front grill pop out and you can make Miles “Wolf” Mayhem go flying! Bam!

You can slide the back section of the trailer open to reveal the command center and the missile launcher! Click the on button on the rear of the trailer cab and send that missile flying!

Detach of rear of the cab and you have a moon mobile! Lift the lid of the tow cover and it becomes a seat for Bruce Soto to rid in! Fold down T-Bob so he becomes a cute T-Bob and Scott Tracker in scooter mode!

The Loyal Subjects’ box design for Thunderhawk is a stunning tribute to the original MASK packaging from the 1980s, perfectly channeling the look and feel of the vintage Kenner line. Dominated by a vivid red backdrop and anchored by the classic MASK logo featuring the exploding rig and iconic helmet, the box immediately evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. The centerpiece is a beautifully rendered image of the red Chevrolet Camaro in mid-transformation, with gull-wing doors raised and missiles exposed—just like the original box art. Character artwork of Matt Trakker in his signature Spectrum mask and suit is prominently displayed on the right, reinforcing the faithful recreation. You gotta love this vehicle!

The Thunderhawk Disc Launcher lets you fire disc-shaped “rocket boosters” to assist MASK teammates or stop Miles Mayhem, while the Thunderhawk-2 Booster Engine features flame-effect blasts that attach to the rear for an added turbo boost.

High Tech Helicopter

The MASK High Tech Helicopter box is a striking homage to the original 1980s Switchblade vehicle, now updated in name. Set against the familiar bold red backdrop, the packaging features dramatic action artwork of the blue jet mode, complete with firing missiles. The classic MASK logo anchors the design, while the dynamic vehicle art and detailed character imagery harken back to the Kenner-era presentation that made the line legendary. Although now called the “High Tech Helicopter,” the toy remains a faithful reimagining of the original Switchblade, and the box captures that same sense of transformation and villainous firepower that made it one of the standout vehicles in the line.

The sides of the HTH box feature the cool action features of this vehicle.

You get blast effects and a missile that looks like it’s launching, plus it comes with another missile you can just load on the bottom.

You gotta love this transforming vehicle! From plane to helicopter, it just looks cool! This vehicle will come packed with Myles Mayhem which you will be able to see in the photos below from the MASK booth reveal from NYCC Toy Fair 2025.

The HTH Jet Flight Turbine Engines give the vehicle a high-speed upgrade, while the Sidewinder Missile Effect adds an air-to-air attack option, making it even more formidable in battle against the Thunderhawk.

Condor

The Condor vehicle is shown in both its motorcycle and helicopter modes, just like the classic box, with transformation clearly illustrated. Brad Turner appears in his signature yellow and red flight suit, and the retro-style layout is further enhanced by the inclusion of the classic Kenner logo in the corner. The overall design stays true to the high-energy, action-focused look of the original, making this a perfect blend of past and present for longtime fans and collectors.

The bright colors tlook great, and I really love this one in it’s motorcycle mode. The cool part is the smoke effect stand!
