Masters of the Universe Mattel Creations July 2026 Figure Drop

With the made to order Orko currently up for preorder and the MOTU Chronicles He-Man and Skeletor 2-Pack already filling a Mattel Creations slot, it seemed like the Origins pipeline was pretty well accounted for heading into the summer, but it looks like Mattel has at least one more trick up its sleeve before San Diego Comic Con 2026 kicks off. The Mattel Creations AU launch calendar has quietly revealed a listing for a new Masters of the Universe figure drop slotted for July 8, 2026, which puts it ahead of whatever SDCC exclusive Mattel has planned for the show itself. That’s an interesting bit of scheduling because it means we could potentially be looking at two separate MOTU reveals landing within a very tight window, and for collectors who have been tracking the cadence of Mattel Creations drops this year, that’s a pretty loaded stretch of summer. What makes this especially fun to speculate about is that we genuinely have no idea what the figure could be, since the usual Origins slots already seem spoken for with the Chronicles releases. Could this be another Chronicles entry, or maybe something from a different corner of the MOTU Mattel Creations umbrella entirely? Although we’d love to see another MOTU Origins drop, we feel like the movie will be dropping another figure. The possibilities are wide open, and I love how a simple calendar listing can set the collector brain spinning through every deep cut character and variant that might fit the bill. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one as more details surface, but for now, July 8 is circled on the calendar and the guessing game is officially on.
