MOTU Chronicles Wave 3 In-Package Images

We’ve been tracking MOTU Chronicles Wave 3 closely, from the Walmart links and wave details to those in-hand images of Ram Man that gave us a solid look at what Mattel is doing with this line, and now we’re getting another piece of the puzzle as in-package images of the entire wave have surfaced through listings at WSI Toys on eBay, which has become a reliable go-to spot for early MOTU drops. The wave includes the single boxed version of Ram Man, Teela, and the He-Man version 2 sporting upgraded armor and paint apps, and seeing all three lined up in their packaging really gives you a sense of how cohesive this wave looks on the shelf. What’s especially nice here is the clear plastic window on the He-Man v2 box, which lets you get a good look at the figure itself without even opening it, and from what we can see through that window, the upgraded deco and armor detailing on this version of He-Man look like a meaningful step up from the first release. Teela rounds out the wave and adds another essential character to a line that continues to build out its core roster in a way that feels deliberate and well-paced. For collectors who have been following Chronicles since the beginning, this wave hits the sweet spot of fan-requested characters and meaningful figure updates, and the fact that these are already listing online means we’re likely very close to seeing them show up on the pegs. He-Man

Ram Man

Ram Man’s box shows a deep teal color scheme matching the rest of the wave, with a large character portrait on the side panel depicting him in his helmet and armor. His axe and a pair of swappable fists are packed alongside the figure, and the pantina shoulder armor and red skirt with its segmented plating are the standout details through the window.

The back of Ram Man’s box features the same Eternian landscape and starfield treatment as the rest of the wave, with a large rendered image of him in his brown helmet and layered armor wielding his axe. Two inset photos on the side show the figure in different poses, and the bottom strip lines up He-Man, Teela, and Ram Man together to round out the Wave 3 roster.

Teela

Teela’s box rounds out the Wave 3 in-package lineup, with a side panel portrait showing her in a white and gold outfit with dark textured detailing across the shoulder. She comes packed with a sword, rifle, an alternate head sculpt, and a set of swappable hands.

The back of Teela’s box follows the same starfield and rocky Eternian landscape template, with a large rendered image of her wielding a sword alongside two inset pose photos. The bottom strip once again lines up He-Man, Teela, and Ram Man, completing a consistent back-panel design across all three Wave 3 boxes.

The side panel artwork on Teela’s box carries the same Skeletor split portrait with the Power Sword running down the center, matching He-Man v2 and Ram Man’s boxes exactly. Seeing all three Wave 3 packages together confirms just how cohesive the design template is across the entire lineup.
