I’ve been wanting to take a closer look at the Chronicles Ram Man ever since the Amazon exclusive Ram Man and Fisto 2-pack started shipping, because the big question for a lot of us has been whether this single release is actually any different or if we’re looking at the same figure repackaged for a different retailer. Now that I’ve got the Chronicles version in hand, I can start breaking that down properly. At 6.5 inches, he fits right into the Chronicles scale we’ve been seeing across the line, and the sculpt carries the movie-accurate design with the John Xue Zhang likeness that Mattel has been pushing for the 2026 film. The armor detailing across the chest and shoulders has a layered, almost industrial quality to it that leans into the battering ram concept without going too over the top. He comes with his signature battle axe and an extra set of hands designed to grip the weapon, which is a pretty standard accessory loadout for this scale. The 30 points of articulation give him a reasonable range for posing, though with a character this bulky, you’re always going to run into some limitations in the torso and hips. The deluxe packaging continues the Chronicles presentation style with that display-friendly window if you’re an in-box collector. If you’re looking to grab him, the Chronicles Ram Man is available now at Walmart.

The side panel features a clean product photo of Ram Man against a dark background, giving you a nice look at his heavy armor plating and layered red skirt from a different angle than the front of the box. It’s a straightforward presentation, but it does a good job showing off the stocky proportions of the figure.

The back of the box features two product shots of the figure in different poses, showing off the armored helmet and battle axe nicely. Along the bottom, the cross sell highlights He-Man and Teela alongside Ram Man, and He-Man v2.

The box art is a real highlight here, with a dramatic split composition showing Ram Man and Skeletor facing each other, a massive sword dividing the frame between them. Skeletor’s skull face and hooded cloak on one side contrasted against Ram Man’s helmeted, armored look on the other makes for one of the better pieces of packaging art I’ve seen in this line.

The other side panel gives you a close-up portrait of Ram Man alongside a packaged accessory tray, where you can make out the battle axe nestled in the plastic insert. That portrait artwork captures his furrowed brow and gritted teeth under the heavy helmet, and it’s a nice touch having character art that aggressive on what’s otherwise a pretty clean box design.

Right out of the box, you get a good look at Ram Man’s full loadout, a double-headed battle axe and a pair of swap-out fist hands alongside the open grip hands already on the figure. The cross-hatch texture on the red skirt panels has some nice depth to it, and that chunky belt buckle with the circular medallion is a solid detail.

Placing the Wave 3 Ram Man next to the Amazon exclusive from the Ram Man and Fisto 2-Pack, the two figures are identical, same armor sculpt, same red skirt, same helmet detail. If you already grabbed the 2-Pack, you’re getting the exact same figure here.

The side panel art lays out the box contents with a clean line drawing of Ram Man, his battle axe, and a pair of swap-out fist hands. Worth noting, this release does not include the energy effects that came with the Amazon exclusive version, so if those mattered to you, the 2-Pack is still the one to track down.
