Trap Jaw New Eternia MOTU Masterverse Box Art Reveal

Roy Juarez has released the New Eternia Trap Jaw MOTU Masterverse box art! This is the fourth installment as he’s released Sorceress Teela‘s, movie Evil-Lyn‘s, and Skeletek’s box art over the last couple days. Revealed at SDCC 2023, New Eternia Trap Jaw’s box was on display but it’s great to see the art without all of the writing on the box so we can focus on the amazing illustrations!

The box has been completely redesigned and it looks absolutely stunning! The previous Masterverse boxes suffered from a lack of design on the front of the boxes, which this version definitely corrects! What is also different is the figure is now part of the box art on the back, which is amazing as it is hard to tell how the accessories look as there is a small plastic display window. Another aspect that I love about the box design is that the illustration from the left side of the box wraps around to the front, which gives it a lot of depth and dimension. We also get a killer side panel illustration on the right side of the box, which is great news for in-box collector’s as this box will display beautifully!
Here is a close of the digital art panels showing Skeletor showing off his new Techno Cult bod complete with his Havoc Staff Ram’s head integrated into his right arm! I guess Skelly can now emphasize with Trap Jaw as he has suffered a similar fate!
We can see an amazing illustration of Trap Jaw on the front of the box with Sky Sleds and Eternian guards descending for battle!

Getting an up close and personal look at Trap Jaw’s face and his oversized mechanical right arm with the laser blaster attachment, we can get a close up of his belt and determined facial expression.
