James Gunn’s Superman Movie 2025
The new James Gunn Superman Movie is set to be released in July 2025 and is going to be a sure smash hit. You can see from the images below that Superman’s logo is totally different, so this is something we expect to see on this version of the Superman figure.
According to Superman (2025 film) – Wikipedia:
Superman is an upcoming American superhero film based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. Produced by DC Studios and to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it will be the first film in the DC Universe (DCU) and a reboot of the Superman film series. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman, alongside Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, MarÃa Gabriela de FarÃa, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. The film explores Superman’s journey to reconcile his alien heritage with his human family.
Development on a sequel to the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film Man of Steel (2013) began by October 2014, with Henry Cavill set to reprise his role as Superman. Plans changed after the troubled production of Justice League (2017) and the Man of Steel sequel was no longer moving forward by May 2020. Gunn began work on a new Superman film around August 2022. In October, he became co-CEO of DC Studios with producer Peter Safran and they began work on a new DC Universe. Gunn was revealed to be writing the film in December. The title Superman: Legacy was announced the next month, Gunn was confirmed to be directing in March 2023, and Corenswet and Brosnahan were cast that June. The subtitle was dropped by the end of February 2024, when filming began in Norway. Production primarily took place at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, with location filming around Georgia and Ohio. Filming wrapped in July. The film takes inspiration from the comic book All-Star Superman (2005–2008) by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, among others.

Leaked List reporting
First let’s take a look at the previously leaked list, as these two Amazon listings all but confirm this list! In any case, take this list with a huge grain of salt, but we are so excited to see The Fortress of Solitude playset named on the list! So let’s dive in and take a look at McFarlane DC Super Powers Wave 12 Leaked List! The leaked list is shown below, but again take it with a grain of salt. One thing to be said is that we have seen lists like this before and they have been pretty accurate! As you can see the figures all have a “Superman Movie” subline. The biggest news out of this list is the Fortress of Solitude Playset!

The first Amazon listing is for a Super Powers Multipack Superman Movie 5 pk Gold Label!
Mr. Terrific & T-Craft Vehicle
This next listing is for the Mr. Terrific & T-Craft vehicle. There aren’t any photos yet, but this all but confirms our leaked list! Be sure to bookmark the link HERE.
Mr. Terrific is a fictional superhero in the DC Comics universe. The character was created by writer Charles Reizenstein and artist Bob Kane and first appeared in Sensation Comics #1 in 1942.
The original Mr. Terrific was a genius inventor and athlete named Terry Sloane who fought crime using his intelligence and physical abilities. He wore a red jacket with a white T on the chest and a black mask over his eyes.
In later years, the mantle of Mr. Terrific was taken up by Michael Holt, a highly intelligent and skilled martial artist who inherited the title from Sloane. Holt is known for his high level of intellect and his use of advanced technology to fight crime.
Mr. Terrific is a member of the Justice Society of America and has also been a part of other superhero teams such as the Justice League and the Terrifics. He is known for his strategic thinking, leadership skills, and dedication to justice.

T-Craft Vehicle
Finally on the Wave 12 leaked list is a “T-Craft” Vehicle under the Superman The Movie DC Super Powers subline. We are not sure what that is referring to, but when we get more information, we will be sure to update you.
Green Lantern (Guy Gardner)
Next up we Green Lantern Guy Gardner comic edition. We got a sneak peek of this version of the man in green at the Pheonix Fan Fusion event. Pictured to the right is what the figure looks like. Dressed in his classic green vest with the upturned collars, and Green Lantern logo on his chest, he looks like he stepped right out of the comic book!
Guy Gardner is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Green Lantern #59 in 1968. Guy Gardner is known for his strong-willed personality, short temper, and confrontational attitude.
Green Lantern – Guy Gardner was released as part of Wave 8, so we are not sure how different this version will be, but we are excited to see yet another Green Lantern in the line.

He was initially chosen as the backup Green Lantern for Hal Jordan, but eventually became a full-fledged Green Lantern when Jordan was unavailable. Guy is a former member of the Justice League and has also been a member of the Green Lantern Corps and the Red Lantern Corps.
Guy Gardner is one of the most powerful Green Lanterns, and he possesses a power ring that grants him a variety of abilities, including flight, energy constructs, and energy projection. Despite his brash and abrasive personality, Guy has proven himself to be a loyal and dependable hero, willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
In addition to his abilities as a Green Lantern, Guy Gardner is also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and has trained in various forms of martial arts. He has faced numerous enemies and challenges throughout his career as a superhero, but he always manages to overcome them with his determination and willpower.

Metamorpho
Metamorpho was created by Bob Haney and Ramona Fradon, first appearing in The Brave and the Bold 57, December 1964 – January 1965. After one more solo appearance in The Brave and the Bold 58, Metamorpho’s own title lasted a mere seventeen issues, ending in March – April 1968. Ramona Fradon was the artist for the two tryout issues and Metamorpho 1–4, creating a unique look for this “freak” superhero. Metamorpho possessed the ability to change his body into any chemical element. Some writers set the limit at any element contained in the human body, and others allowed him to change in to simple compounds as well. The colors on Metamorpho look great and they compliment the card colors very nicely! Shown below is what the Wave 8 and comic versions of him look like. Again, we are not sure how different this version will be, but we are excited to see yet another one in the line.

Ultraman
According to: Ultraman | Superman Wiki | Fandom
Ultraman is an evil equivalent of Superman from a parallel Earth (called Earth-Three or Earth-3). He is a member of the Crime Syndicate, an evil version of the Justice League that terrorizes its Earth. His real name is Clark Luthor (according to Smallville), and is the adopted son of Lionel Luthor Earth-2.
Superman Earth-3, also known as Ultraman, is a character from DC Comics who hails from the alternate Earth-3 universe. Unlike the heroic Superman we are familiar with, Ultraman is an evil and tyrannical version of the Man of Steel. He is a member of the Crime Syndicate, a group of superpowered villains who rule over their Earth with an iron fist.
Ultraman possesses all of the same powers as Superman, but he uses them for his own gain and to oppress others. He is fueled by a desire for power and control, and will stop at nothing to maintain his rule over Earth-3.
In some storylines, Ultraman has clashed with the Justice League and other heroes from different Earths, often proving to be a formidable adversary due to his immense strength and ruthless nature.
Overall, Superman Earth-3, or Ultraman, is a dark and corrupt version of the classic hero we know and love, embodying the opposite of everything Superman stands for.

Fortress of Solitude Playset
The Fortress of Solitude is a fictional fortress appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. It is the secluded headquarters of Superman, located in the Arctic and serving as a place of solitude and reflection for the superhero. The Fortress of Solitude is typically portrayed as a massive structure constructed out of crystal-like materials, sometimes described as being composed of Kryptonian crystals. It is equipped with advanced technology and features such as a communication console, a medical bay, and a lab for scientific research. Superman uses the Fortress of Solitude as a place to store Kryptonian artifacts, as well as a refuge from the outside world where he can retreat to contemplate important decisions or seek guidance from the artificial intelligence of his Kryptonian ancestors. The concept of the Fortress of Solitude has been a key element of Superman’s mythology since its introduction in the 1950s, and it has appeared in various forms of media, including films, television shows, and video games. Most well know from the 1978 film- Superman The Movie. We expect this version of the Fortress of Solitude to be a rendition from the new James Gunn Superman Movie, since the rest of the wave is themed this way. But we will take a look at the classic for now as it’s all we have to go on.

Pictured below is the Fortress of Solitude as seen in the 1978 Superman The Movie. Also pictured below is someone’s custom we found a photo of online of the Fortress of Solitude playset that was obviously made of a Star Wars Hoth Imperial Attack Base playset. Now we don’t know what this playset will look like or how much it will cost, but it is so super exciting!
