Find the full list of 2023 Leaked MOTU Origins figures, vehicles, and playsets all in once place! MOTU is strong as so is this list!

January 2023 has been a month of leaks, leaks, and more leaks plus we’ve gotten confirmation of some leaks and figures that are new coming to the MOTU Origins line! We’ve covered these leaks, rumors, and confirmed figures in several articles so we are pulling everything together in one post calling out all known single carded, deluxe, and vehicle leaks. You can also jump to a particular figure or vehicle from the list below:

Single Carded Figures

Terroar

Terroar was teased on a card art image for Hypno (see other teases here) and it looks like Lulu Berlu is using the custom we found online as the stand in image for the figure. They have listed the figure for sale on their website so it’s only a matter of time before we see this figure officially announced.

Terroar-MOTU-Origins-Listing-on-Lulu-Berlu

Hypno’s card back teases Terroar, which is awesome as he is a mashup of several produced MOTU Origins figures! If you recall Terroar was never released in the vintage line, but was part of a 3 Pack for the MOTU Classics Line. This is the second time now that we can have gotten Terroar teased on a MOTU Origins cardback, so this is a great indicator that we may be getting him and, given that Lulu Berlu has put it up on their website, we can pretty much guarantee this one!

Here you can see what a version of Terror would look like in MOTU Origins form, with this custom figure below. As you can see, Terror is completely a mash up of existing parts. You can see they use Whiplash’s head, Trap Jaw’s right arm and shoulder, Rattlor’s torso, left arm and tail, and Mosquitor’s legs and boots. Again this is a CUSTOM image below, but you can see what it could look like.

Terroar MOTU Origins Custom 2

If you recall, we saw Terroar in multiple locations of the Camo Khan Card art. Illustrated standing by King Hiss’ throne and also coming thru a portal with Camo Khan, Lord Gr’asp & Terroar along with Reptilax, an unproduced Classics concept, look ready to attack. If you haven’t checked out our Camo Khan card art tease article, you can check it out here: MOTU-origins-camo-khan-card-art-teases (toyhabits.com)

Mini Comic Man-E-Faces

Could these be test shot images of an upcoming Mini Comic Man-Faces MOTU Origins figure or are they an abandoned concept? Charlie_5.5 has acquired what appears to be a prototype of a future MOTU Origins Mini Comic Man-E-Faces and posted the photos on his IG page (shown in blue and white)! We also came across a listing in Amazon’s database that confirms that confirms mini comic Man-E-Faces is coming to Origins. The MOTU Origins line is producing certain figures in mini comic form so it is not out of the question that they would do something similar for Man-E-Faces. Here is what he had to say:

Interesting find, this First/Test shot figure of Origins Man-E-Faces has different faces from the released version. The sculpts are more detailed and have the faces MEF had early in The Ordeal of Man-E-Faces mini comic, pre Robot face/form. It’s possible this was a discarded idea, or this could be a future release, I hope it’s the latter 🤞🤞

The Monster face is the most similar to the current MOTU Origins figure but you can clearly see the resemblance to the mini comic!

Duplico

Thanks to Planet Eternia for posting images of the official Package for the newest member from the MOTU Origins Rulers of the Sun subline, Duplico! Duplico looks spectacular packaged on the Rise of the Snake Men card back with the Rulers of the Sun faction sticker on the front of the blister bubble! This newest addition to the line brings in anotehr human character that helps to round out the Rulers of the Sun gang, and they are now filling out nicely!

Today we got another Masters of the Universe Origins Figure leak from ¡Yo tengo el Poder! on Instagram. They just posted the 200X King Randor figure for Wave 13, be sure to check out our article on that one him: 200x King Randor Leaked on MOTU Origins Wave 13 Card Art – (toyhabits.com). Well, they are delighting us with yet another leak. They posted a leaked MOTU Origins card art showing an illustration of Duplico is an unproduced Rulers of the Sun character, going up against Snake Armor Skeletor and Pig Head! It’s a new year and new rumors are starting to swirl around about the next coming waves of MOTU Origins. As you know, Wave 12 was recently announced, which included Hypno from the Rulers of the Sun line, Tung Lashor, Snake Armor Skeletor, and Mini Comic Roboto. Also, MOTU Origins Wave 12 in hand images are surfacing in Malaysia! This new image provides more evidence that Duplico is also next in line for Wave 13.

MOTU Origins Duplico Card art leak

This is how Duplico appeared in the original vintage Rulers of the Sun line, but he was never produced. You can see him here in a promo image below. He was supposed to be part of a Series 2 release, which included Hypno, Kikto, and Zap-Man.

Duplico unproduced RoS figure with Rulers of the Sun

It wasn’t but a week or so that we even saw that Duplico was coming to the Origins line, and low and behold, he is already produced and being sold at the Paulmartstore at Southern California’s Frank & Sons! Thanks to collector Matt Le, we now get to see actual IN HAND images of Duplico that he picked up at the Paulmartstore inside Frank & Sons. Duplico looks very similar but slightly different face sculpt as the new Adventures He-Man that was released in the 40th Anniversary Origins 4 Pack. We did an incredible review on this 40th Anniversary He-Man 4 pack, if you missed it, you can read it HERE: MOTU Origins He-Man 40th Anniversary 4-Pack Review (toyhabits.com)

Matt was also kind enough to post photos of the card back so we can see the production card art and cross sell of the rest of Wave, which includes Tung Lashor, Snake Armor Skeletor and Mini Comic Roboto. The strange thing is that Wave 12 consists of Hypno, Tung Lashor, Snake Armor Skeletor and Mini Comic Roboto, as you can see from the cross sell on the back of Hypno’s card. So was Duplico supposed to be in place of Hypno? What wave was Duplico supposed to be a part of?

Spikor

Spikor is one of the most anticipated MOTU Origins figures! One of the last holdouts of Skeletor’s henchmen, Spikor’s head and torso are completely covered in razor-sharp spikes. It was not clear whether the spikes are a natural part of his body or some kind of special armor, until the bio for his 2012 figure confirmed it is an armor magically fused to his body. In place of his left hand is a trident, which can extend and, in some media, fires a laser beam. Spikor was introduced into the Masters of the Universe toy line in 1985. His action figure’s feature is his spring-action waist, which propelled his trident to shoot out of its socket when his torso sprang back. In an Amazon leaked list that showed up in their database, it looks like Spikor is coming to the line but we don’t know when yet!

Stronox Customs just recently created a custom MOTU Origins Spikor and this looks like a mashup of the vintage, Masterverse, and MOTU Origins bucks. One of my favorite aspects of his work is the attention to detail he pays with the paint apps. For example, you can see the black washing on the figure bringing out the detail on the face, arms, spiked armor, belt…pretty much everywhere but it’s all in the right places!

The details that Stronox puts in his customs is second to none and the varying paint apps of light and dark purple mixed with black washing give the figure a very interesting, fluid look! His work is amazing and you can see what an Origins concept would look like for this figure!

King Randor (200x)

Let’s start with one of my favorite characters second to the Sorceress and that is indeed Randy himself, yes another King Randor! We don’t know what a King Randor MOTU Origins figure could like but if the animated 200x version of him is any clue we are in for a real treat! It would be amazing to see this style of figure translated into an Origins design, even with a mechanical leg!

Thanks to yo_tengo_el_poder, we know that King Randor 200X is coming to the line officially as they posted a leaked MOTU Origins card art showing a 200x illustration of King Randor tangled with 200x Skeletor! This new image provides more evidence that a 200x King Randor is next in line for Wave 13.

200x King Randor MOTU Origins Wave 13 Leak

King Randor MOTU 200x Animated Cartoon
King Randor MOTU 200x Animated Cartoon

King Randor’s story was explored in the MOTU 200x cartoon in 2002, where:

In the 2002 Mike Young Productions remake, it is made apparent that in his youth, Randor was known as Captain Randor, a brave and steadfast warrior before being crowned King of Eternia by the Elders, although in the 1983 series, he is portrayed as having taken over the throne after his father, King Miro, disappeared. He even aids the Masters in a couple of episodes in their battles against Skeletor and his Evil Warriors and even the Snake Men. Apparently, after King Grayskull’s death, the Council of Elders was formed to rule Eternia. But after Keldor’s transformation into Skeletor they made Randor king as they became one with Castle Grayskull.

He is also tied more closely to the origin of Skeletor, having battled Skeletor when he was still Keldor during a war the Eternians call The Great Unrest. That war ended when Keldor and his forces attacked the Hall of Wisdom, home of the Elders, and Keldor and Randor engaged in a deadly duel that ended with Keldor hurling acid at Randor, only to have Randor deflect the acid with his shield, splashing the acid back at Keldor and burning his face, which led to his transformation into Skeletor. It is revealed by a writer that in this continuity Keldor and Randor are half-brothers, but it is never revealed if either knew that.

Prior to Captain Randor’s fight with Keldor, he was told by the Council of Elders they wish to make him King to succeed them as ruler of Eternia. Randor protests, saying he is a soldier, not a politician, but then turns his attention to the forthcoming fight. After beating back Keldor and his underlings, Randor calls for the Council, but is told by the Sorceress they are gone and have left him the means to create a powerful hero. Randor is unsure of this, likely thinking he will be responsible for training a great soldier, and is left asking “How will I know this hero?”

Many years after the fight with Keldor, Eternia has enjoyed many years of peace and prosperity, and Randor has taken up the mantle of King, now married to a woman named Marlena and fathered a son named Adam, the foretold hero Randor was responsible for. Although Randor is not aware his son is He-Man, it is likely explained that the inward courage, fortitude and bravery of Captain Randor passed to his son in latent ways, thus enabling Adam to have the means to become He-Man.

After the Council of Evil incident, King Randor established an Eternian Council consisting of himself; Chief Carnivus of the Qadians; Lord Dactys of the Speleans; the King Chooblah of the Kulataks; Queen Andreeno of the Andreenids; King Taurius of the Mintaurans; Hawke, representing the Avions, and some other unnamed council members.

https://he-man.fandom.com/wiki/King_Randor

In the NECA mini stature, King Randor is portrayed as a younger, more vibrant warrior and it would be amazing to see an armor design like the versions in the NECA statues. I doubt we would see a soft goods cape but if they are making more of a fury cape design, like we saw in the King Grayskull figure that in the Eternia Playset display at SDCC 2022, that is definitely doable!

Snake Trooper

The result of a fusion between Snake Men Soldiers and the technology of the Horde Troopers, the Snake Trooper would be another figure that Mattel could easily create as they mostly use the Horde Trooper buck with a new head.

The Snake Troopers were introduced in a three pack that was inspired by the unreleased 1988 vintage concept wave. The price per set that year was $165.00, and surprisingly, it is still available at the Big Bad Toy Store. Here are the promo pics and also the final product from 2019:

This is the exact same mold that was used for the red and black Horde Troopers from the Power Con 2020 Evil Horde 4-Pack and I think the silver Horde Trooper looks like the commander in the bunch for me but in order to not go into army building debt, the silver troopers will need to be the ones that make up the bulk of the army.

Snake Teela

The Snake Teela was an exclusive and one of the best reviews of the figure we have seen on by ActionFigureBarbecue, where he states:

Teela looks amazing. I really like the 200x Teela figure as she was a fantastic, modern update to Teela. I really wish MOTUC had included a 200x styled Teela at some point. This figure takes the standard Teela, gives her armor a darker paintjob (with more details), and gives her green, scaly snake skin. Yeah, the snaky detail is simply painted on but it sure does look good. She’s very bold and colorful, almost possessing the “cel-shaded” look you see in some video games.

Action Figure Barbecue

As far as an origins figure, they would mostly reuse the Teela buck but it would be amazing to see a green skinned, textured version but they need to be careful that the figure does not resemble the Goddess. It would be cool to see crazy hair and fangs on the head sculpt but that might be wishful thinking!

Sssqueeze

Sssqueeze has got to be the most unusual of the Snake Men, with his large snake like wrapping arms! Released by Mattel in 1987, Sssqueeze with bright lime green skin color and large wrapping arms was a blast for kids to play with! His arms were made of a flexible rubber with a wire wrapping around inside that allowed you to pose him in fun squeezing positions. Watch out He-Man or your gonna get the SSSQUEEZE!! Just like the other Snake Men, this figure too was a totally new sculpt. Squeeze did include the spring-loaded waste and was wearing purple chest armor with the green Snake Men logo. He came with an extra-long purple snake pet. This is one character I currently don’t own in my personal collection, but now after researching him, I am going to have to pick one up!

Well we already say Kiss Hiss revealed at this year’s SDCC. And now we get teases of Sssqueeze on the Camo Khan Package.

According to the Wiki Grayskull:

Sssqueeze is a character in the Masters of the Universe franchise, He is a member of the Snake Men, who has the power to elongate his arms.

Sssqueeze first appears in the minicomic “Revenge of the Snake Men!“, where King Hiss summons him and Snake Face from the dimension where the Snake Men are trapped. He gets little character development, with Snake Face‘s powers being the main focus of the comic. Sssqueeze also appears in the minicomic “Energy Zoids“, where Rotar takes his long arm and uses him as a living mace. Sssqueeze also appears in the Marvel Comics series, first in issue #8, where he is depicted as a member of the Evil Horde, and later he makes a cameo in issue #12 as a member of the recently arrested Snake Men.

Eternian Guard Infiltrator (Snake Eternian Palace Guard)

We believe that the Eternian Guard Infiltator will be similar to the Masters of the Universe Classics version that uses the snake head! This would be very easy for Mattel to make as they have already designed the Eternian Palace Guard in the Origins line.

To make an Eternian Guard Infiltrator figure, you will notice right off the bat is the Palace Guard reuses a bunch of parts from Man-At-Arms. For example, Man-at-Arms (MAA) gave us the green buck plus armor pieces on the left arm and left leg and with the Eternian Palace guard, we get new pieces for the right arm and right leg that are mirrored from the left. The belt has a nice red accent in the middle, which helps differentiate from the original MAA release. The head has a face-shield covering the face to make the figure a non description look so you can army build. It will be interesting to see if they include this aspect if they do a standard release of the Eternian Guard Infiltrator figure.

Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms (200x)

The 200x line was known for some pretty cool sculpts and concepts and Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms would be a great addition to the Snake Men line. We would love to see his oversized armor and his claw attachment as a weapon! This figure would be another easy one to make and would require some extra armor and his accessory.

Deluxe Figures

Dragon Blaster Skeletor

Dragon Blaster Skeletor makes sense to be a deluxe figure for the next Wave 12, as only the single release figures have been revealed, but only time will tell. The vintage Dragon Blaster Skeletor action figure was released back in 1985 as a part of wave 4. Leader of the Evil Warriors, SKelly included his dreadful dragon with the paralyzing spray perched on his shoulder!

Dragon Blaster Skeletor Vintage on card
Dragon Blaster Skeletor Vintage Action figure

Dragon Blaster Skeletor was also released for the MOTU Classics Line in 2012, and was an incredibly cool and popular figure in the line! You can see how a highly articulated version of this character would look.

According to Dragon Blaster Skeletor Wiki | Fandom

As the ruler of Eternia® following Randor’s banishment, Skeletor® created a new magical armor infused with an Eternian Dragon, giving him the power to paralyze his enemies at first glance. His rule was cut short, however, when Skeletor’s former master Hordak® returned from Despondos™ with the help of Evil-Lyn®. Hordak® not only overthrew Skeletor®, but drove the Snake Men™ into hibernation. Forced into a war on multiple fronts, Skeletor® continued to lead his Evil Warriors into battle, often having to fight side-by-side with his former enemies – the now renegade Masters of the Universe®. Perched on his master’s armor, the Evil Dragon “pet” of Skeletor® stops his enemies cold with his paralyzing jet spray of venom

Snake Face

We already covered the teases for Snake Face in More Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023! – (toyhabits.com) and MOTU Origins Wave 11 Rise of the Snake Men Card Art Teases (toyhabits.com) Unveiled during the CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS live stream last year, they revealed the first of the Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023 and they were totally right! They had also revealed the additional Snake Men – King Hiss, Snake Face and Sssqueeze were also coming to Origins later in 2023! Please note, that this new wave of Snake Men have not yet been confirmed by Mattel nor any official images released, but our friends at @canaldosrosmineiros were right about the first wave of Snake Men, She-Ra and Beast Man Masterverse teases, so there is a really good chance we get these Snake Men  figures!

Snake Face was also a very unique character and all new sculpt for the vintage line. Released in 1987, this most gruesome of the Snake Men Warriors featured an eye & mouth popping snakes feature which would turn his enemies to stone! Activated by the action lever on his back, the snakes would pop out of his mouth, eyes and shoulders! Due to this action feature, Snake Face did not have the waist twist feature, nor neck articulation. His arms even had snakes wrapping around them. His body was a completely new sculpt with intricate details on his chest and arms. He also sported the Snake Men logo on his chest. Snake Face came packaged with the usual snake staff in green, and a snake themed shield as well.

According to the Wiki Grayskull:

Snake Face first appears in the minicomic “Revenge of the Snake Men!“, where King Hiss summons him and Sssqueeze from the dimension where the Snake Men are trapped. Snake Face’s powers are the main focus of the comic, since he uses them against Prince AdamExtendar and The Sorceress, who disguises herself as Queen Marlena. He-Man uses his Power Sword to revert the effect and, not long after that, in a battle in Viper Tower, He-Man turns all the Snake Men into stone, by reflecting Snake Face’s power of petrifaction back at them. Snake Face also appears in the minicomic “Energy Zoids“, where he transforms Rotar into stone to capture him and later makes him fight against the new Evil Warrior, Twistoid.

Talon Fighter and Point Dread

The Talon Fighter and Point Dread has always been a fan favorite and we always loved how you can seat He-man and one of his friends in the Eagle shaped plane and always loved the bright orange and blue color scheme that made it look so cool! I thought that the radar dish on top was a cool feature so that He-Man can communicate with his friends, because back then, they didn’t have cell phones! But besides looking cool, the Talon Fighter and Point Dread always had a mysterious feeling behind them, because of the mystical lore that is tied to their story.

Jay from Geek Dad Life provided an update on the Talon Fighter and Point Dread as he was invited to Toy Fair Germany, where he got to see the set in person and provided these details:

  • The canopy does have a window that is tinted and made of dark gray plastic
  • Controls are similar to the Wind Raider and seats two figures
  • The blue satellite dish was present plus an alternate silver attachment that almost took up the top half of Point Dread
  • Point Dread attaches to the top of the castle via pegs and it had an additional peg hole.
  • Castle Grayskull can handle both Point Dread and the Wind Raider on top

According to the Masters of the Universe Character Compendium Volume 1:

Mysterious Point Dread was a stone structure of magical might. A mystical location appearing on the face of Eternia every twenty years. The powerful 2 man Talon Fighter, rests atop it’s outpost. Skeletor once endangered all of Eternia by tapping into Point Dread’s power, but the Goddess spirited the entire structure away to Castle Grayskull, merging it with the mystic strongholdMasters of the Universe Character Compendium Volume 1 pg 589

Point Dread’s upper half could be removed and placed atop one of the towers of the Grayskull playset, allowing the Talon Fighter to rest atop Grayskull as shown in the minicomics. The Talon Fighter toy itself had a yellow-orange hull, a blue canopy and red-orange wings and “claw” landing gear. There was also a version of the toy on which a book-and record set was included, with one story on each side of a 7-inch vinyl record and a read-along storybook in comic format.Point Dread & Talon Fighter | Wiki Grayskull | Fandom

We first spotted the Talon Fighter and Point Dread on Zodak’s card back artwork. It was perched far in the distance atop a bed of clouds with the silhouette of an Eternian planet behind it. This was a subtle hint at the bird shaped fighter.

The next time we spot the Talon Fighter and Point Dread, is not so subtle, but totally in our face! It was featured ever so proudly sitting on top Castle Grayskull on the beautiful card back artwork for the 2021 Mattel Creations exclusive Mini Comic Tri-klops! Could this be a huge hint from Mattel? Oh pretty please!! I would love to get an Origins version of this regal bird fighter jet!
