We could see Extendar, Snake Teela, Squeeeze, Snake Face, and the Snake Troopers coming to MOTU Origins line, which is highly likely!
Snake Trooper Card Art Tease
The rear artwork drawn and illustrated by Axel Giménez & FETCH Francisco Etchart show an amazing scene of Thunder Punch He-Man going at it against two Snake Men Horde Troopers! And you can also spot Viper Tower way in the back ground! It would be so amazing to get some Snake Men themed army builders!
Snake Troopers History and Leak
The result of a fusion between Snake Men Soldiers and the technology of the Horde Troopers, the Snake Trooper would be another figure that Mattel could easily create as they mostly use the Horde Trooper buck with a new head.

The Snake Troopers were introduced in a three pack that was inspired by the unreleased 1988 vintage concept wave. The price per set that year was $165.00, and surprisingly, it is still available at the Big Bad Toy Store. Here are the promo pics and also the final product from 2019:

It features King Hiss, Rattlor, Kobra Khan, Thunder Punch He-Man, Snake Armor He-Man and Bolt Man. In a first, we get 2 different version of He-Man released as part of this complete wave!
Here we get a closer look at all the beautiful detail in this new Thunder Punch He-Man cardback artwork!
This is the exact same mold that was used for the red and black Horde Troopers from the Power Con 2020 Evil Horde 4-Pack and I think the silver Horde Trooper looks like the commander in the bunch for me but in order to not go into army building debt, the silver troopers will need to be the ones that make up the bulk of the army.

Snake Teela Card Art Tease
It is highly likely we will be seeing Snake Teela join the MOTU Origins line as this card tease adds to leaked list, which just adds more fuel to the fire!
The Snake Teela was an exclusive and one of the best reviews of the figure we have seen on by ActionFigureBarbecue, where he states:
Teela looks amazing. I really like the 200x Teela figure as she was a fantastic, modern update to Teela. I really wish MOTUC had included a 200x styled Teela at some point. This figure takes the standard Teela, gives her armor a darker paintjob (with more details), and gives her green, scaly snake skin. Yeah, the snaky detail is simply painted on but it sure does look good. She’s very bold and colorful, almost possessing the “cel-shaded” look you see in some video games.
Action Figure Barbecue
As far as an origins figure, they would mostly reuse the Teela buck but it would be amazing to see a green skinned, textured version but they need to be careful that the figure does not resemble the Goddess. It would be cool to see crazy hair and fangs on the head sculpt but that might be wishful thinking!

In the second season episode of the MYP cartoon series “Second Skin” King Hsss uses the Serpent’s Ring to turn a number of folks, including Man-At-Arms, Mekaneck, and Teela into Snakemen.

UPDATE 10/18/2022: King Hiss Package art revealed
Thanks to Manuel_Eduardo_Caritas for posting images of the new King Hiss package artwork on his Instagram page today! We also want to thank Art Director Manuel Eduardo Caritas for posting this beautiful artwork! Art by Axel Giménez & FETCH Francisco Etchart. Below we get to see the amazing package both front and rear of the new King Hiss! The front of the package brings us that awesome illustration of King Hiss and is also adorned with the incredible Rise of the Snake Men theme with the snake rising up behind the Masters of the Universe logo and the blister bubble that includes those cool snake scales! The rear of the package features beautiful new artwork which we will look at in closer detail below. It also includes the complete cross sell new Rise of the Snake Men wave! It features King Hiss, Rattlor, Kobra Khan, Thunder Punch He-Man, Snake Armor He-Man and Bolt Man.
The rear artwork drawn and illustrated by Axel Giménez & FETCH Francisco Etchart show an amazing scene of Snake Armor He-Man going at it against King Hiss in his full snake form!! And you can also another Snake Teela, in the background. If you recall Snake Teela was part of a leaked list that came out in September. If you want to read more about her, go to this LINK. Squeeeze Card Art Tease
Here we get a look at the amazing Snake Armor He-Man cardback art and right away we are teased with some more brand new characters! Snake Armor He-Man is illustrated battling with none other than Sssqueeze hiding in the corner is also Snake Face! Now we already broke the news many months ago about the Snake Men leaks of Sssqueeze and Snake Face in our More Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023! article, and it looks like we were absolutely correct!

Sssqueeze
Sssqueeze has got to be the most unusual of the Snake Men, with his large snake like wrapping arms! Released by Mattel in 1987, Sssqueeze with bright lime green skin color and large wrapping arms was a blast for kids to play with! His arms were made of a flexbile rubber with a wire wrapping around inside that allowed you to pose him in fun squeezing positions. Watch out He-Man or your gonna get the SSSQUEEZE!! Just like the other Snake Men, this figure too was a totally new sculpt. Squeeze did include the spring-loaded waste and was wearing purple chest armor with the green Snake Men logo. He came with an extra-long purple snake pet. This is one character I currently don’t own in my personal collection, but now after researching him, I am going to have to pick one up!
According to the Wiki Grayskull:
Sssqueeze is a character in the Masters of the Universe franchise, He is a member of the Snake Men, who has the power to elongate his arms.
Sssqueeze first appears in the minicomic “Revenge of the Snake Men!“, where King Hiss summons him and Snake Face from the dimension where the Snake Men are trapped. He gets little character development, with Snake Face‘s powers being the main focus of the comic. Sssqueeze also appears in the minicomic “Energy Zoids“, where Rotar takes his long arm and uses him as a living mace. Sssqueeze also appears in the Marvel Comics series, first in issue #8, where he is depicted as a member of the Evil Horde, and later he makes a cameo in issue #12 as a member of the recently arrested Snake Men.

Snake Face
Snake Face was also a very unique character and all new sculpt for the vintage line. Released in 1987, this most gruesome of the Snake Men Warriors featured an eye & mouth popping snakes feature which would turn his enemies to stone! Activated by the action lever on his back, the snakes would pop out of his mouth, eyes and shoulders! Due to this action feature, Snake Face did not have the waist twist feature, nor neck articulation. His arms even had snakes wrapping around them. His body was a completely new sculpt with intricate details on his chest and arms. He also sported the Snake Men logo on his chest. Snake Face came packaged with the usual snake staff in green, and a snake themed shield as well.
According to the Wiki Grayskull:
Snake Face first appears in the minicomic “Revenge of the Snake Men!“, where King Hiss summons him and Sssqueeze from the dimension where the Snake Men are trapped. Snake Face’s powers are the main focus of the comic, since he uses them against Prince Adam, Extendar and The Sorceress, who disguises herself as Queen Marlena. He-Man uses his Power Sword to revert the effect and, not long after that, in a battle in Viper Tower, He-Man turns all the Snake Men into stone, by reflecting Snake Face’s power of petrifaction back at them. Snake Face also appears in the minicomic “Energy Zoids“, where he transforms Rotar into stone to capture him and later makes him fight against the new Evil Warrior, Twistoid.

Extendar Cart Art Tease
Next we have Kobra Khan’s card back art, and he is battling with none other than Thunder Punch He-Man and Extandar! These are some spectacular character teases! We also saw Thunder Punch He-Man on the back of the Horde Trooper card back art as well, so it’s probably a forgone conclusion that he is coming to the line!

Extendar
Extendar was also a very unique figure and looked nothing like previous figures that were released in the line. Taking on more of a knight appearance, this figure came out very late in the line and was not featured in the cartoon but he does have a mini comic backstoryAccording to the Wiki Grayskull:
Occasionally referred to in comics as the ‘Tower of Power’, Extendar was introduced into the Masters of the Universe toy line in 1986, at a stage when the toy line was breaking away from its roots in pure fantasy, and introducing more robotic and mechanical characters. Given that the accompanying cartoon series had been cancelled by the time his toy reached the market, he never appears in animated form. However, he features prominently in various comics and storybooks, and is introduced in the Mattel mini-comic “The Warrior Machine”. This comic showcases him as a friend of Prince Adam who is an ordinary knight, but yearns for special powers of his own after witnessing the skills of the Horde warrior Dragstor. Hordak subsequently grants his wish and subjects him to scientific experiments which turn him into a mechanical cyborg warrior with the power of extension. Invincible at full height, he is set upon He-Man, but manages to throw off Hordak’s curse and join the Heroic Warriors. Subsequent mini-comics portray him as one of the most powerful members of his ranks.
Extendar
Extendar’s gimmick was pretty cool! He could grow larger by pulling on his neck, arms, and legs

Snake Mountain Tease
Next, we see Rattlor’s card back art work. Here he is battling against Snake Amor He-Man, which we know is part of this wave. And there are no more characters on the back of this card art… so what no more teases?? But wait, what do we have hear? Snake Mountain can be seen lurking in the background! Yet another tease at Snake Mountain which has been shown on countless MOTU Origins Package art. Snake Mountain can be officially moved into the line as we finally got confirmation that Mattel is producing a Snake Mountain!

Snake Mountain
Again, another long-awaited fan favorite was revealed today as well! After all this time, we are finally getting a Snake Mountain in the MOTU Origins line! Pictured here was a prototype of Snake Mountain, but so far it looks to be really cool and loaded with brand new play features! There needs to be some more tweaking to the snake design and coloring of the mountain in the front, but what they unveiled today looks so exciting! Let’s take a look at all the goodies it has to offer. At first glance, we can see that they have added the mountain peak to the design so that it resembles the Snake Mountain from the Filmation cartoon a little more closely, but the design still retains those signature features from the vintage playset we all know and love! The classic monster face is still sculpted into the front of the mountain and includes a working jaw. We still have that fun suspension bridge, but this time it looks to have widened so that it can be walkable for your figures! It leads to steps that go up to the gate of Snake Mountain which has that classic wolfs head on the gate. And inside is a ladder similar to that one of Castle Grayskull The cave is also still present near the bottom as well. On the inside we have the wolf speaker but does not include electronics associated with it and instead we got added play features on the inside. We have for the first time in Origins, Skeletor’s bone throne! We also get an all-new weapons rack as well. And next to the rotatable wolf and bone throne is a trap door that leads to a jail cell., so no more safety net to fall into. The coolest part of this new Snake Mountain in my opinion is the new “Acid Lake”. which has 3D removeable creatures into that attach to pegs. It turns out that these pegs work in the peg holes of the torso of the Origins figures, so you can detach you figures at the torso and place them on the lake, so it looks like they are sinking inside! How fun is that??? Snake Mountain is set to be released in the Fall of 2023. You can view more photos that Planet Eternia posted in their detailed article.
