Masters of the Universe Origins Leaked Amazon Exclusive Figure List
The Snake Men line could be increasing with this latest MOTU Origins Amazon leak list that surfaced today plus some teased figures also made the cut!
The internet is all a buzz with some major leaks that hit today! Given that the Rise of the Snake Men wave 1 will be hitting retail in January 2023, it was not surprising to see more Snake themed figures on a rumored or leaked list! First, we wanted to send a special thanks to Charlie_5.5 for tipping us off to these leak that were originally posted on the MOTULA FB group as this list is pretty amazing if these figures come to fruition! Also, the dynamic duo @canaldosrosmineiros was also reporting that these figures could also be Amazon exclusives!
9/2/2022 Update: MOTU Artist yo_tengo_el_poder Reports the Leaks! Is this confirmation?
Today, the MOTU artist yo_tengo_el_poder also posted these leaks on his IG page, giving them some creditability. We are unsure if he is also just reposting this information as he has a question mark by the Snake Palace Guard figure. Here is the translation:

King Randor 200x
We don’t know what a King Randor MOTU Origins figure could like but if the animated 200x version of him is any clue we are in for a real treat! It would be amazing to see this style of figure translated into an Origins design, even with a mechanical leg!

King Randor’s story was explored in the MOTU 200x cartoon in 2002, where:
In the 2002 Mike Young Productions remake, it is made apparent that in his youth, Randor was known as Captain Randor, a brave and steadfast warrior before being crowned King of Eternia by the Elders, although in the 1983 series, he is portrayed as having taken over the throne after his father, King Miro, disappeared. He even aids the Masters in a couple of episodes in their battles against Skeletor and his Evil Warriors and even the Snake Men. Apparently, after King Grayskull’s death, the Council of Elders was formed to rule Eternia. But after Keldor’s transformation into Skeletor they made Randor king as they became one with Castle Grayskull.
He is also tied more closely to the origin of Skeletor, having battled Skeletor when he was still Keldor during a war the Eternians call The Great Unrest. That war ended when Keldor and his forces attacked the Hall of Wisdom, home of the Elders, and Keldor and Randor engaged in a deadly duel that ended with Keldor hurling acid at Randor, only to have Randor deflect the acid with his shield, splashing the acid back at Keldor and burning his face, which led to his transformation into Skeletor. It is revealed by a writer that in this continuity Keldor and Randor are half-brothers, but it is never revealed if either knew that.
Prior to Captain Randor’s fight with Keldor, he was told by the Council of Elders they wish to make him King to succeed them as ruler of Eternia. Randor protests, saying he is a soldier, not a politician, but then turns his attention to the forthcoming fight. After beating back Keldor and his underlings, Randor calls for the Council, but is told by the Sorceress they are gone and have left him the means to create a powerful hero. Randor is unsure of this, likely thinking he will be responsible for training a great soldier, and is left asking “How will I know this hero?”
Many years after the fight with Keldor, Eternia has enjoyed many years of peace and prosperity, and Randor has taken up the mantle of King, now married to a woman named Marlena and fathered a son named Adam, the foretold hero Randor was responsible for. Although Randor is not aware his son is He-Man, it is likely explained that the inward courage, fortitude and bravery of Captain Randor passed to his son in latent ways, thus enabling Adam to have the means to become He-Man.
After the Council of Evil incident, King Randor established an Eternian Council consisting of himself; Chief Carnivus of the Qadians; Lord Dactys of the Speleans; the King Chooblah of the Kulataks; Queen Andreeno of the Andreenids; King Taurius of the Mintaurans; Hawke, representing the Avions, and some other unnamed council members.

In the NECA mini stature, King Randor is portrayed as a younger, more vibrant warrior and it would be amazing to see an armor design like the versions in the NECA statues. I doubt we would see a soft goods cape but if they are making more of a fury cape design, like we saw in the King Grayskull figure that in the Eternia Playset display at SDCC 2022, that is definitely doable!

Spikor
Spikor is one of the most anticipated MOTU Origins figures! One of the last holdouts of Skeletor’s henchmen, Spikor’s head and torso are completely covered in razor-sharp spikes. It was not clear whether the spikes are a natural part of his body or some kind of special armor, until the bio for his 2012 figure confirmed it is an armor magically fused to his body. In place of his left hand is a trident, which can extend and, in some media, fires a laser beam. Spikor was introduced into the Masters of the Universe toy line in 1985. His action figure’s feature is his spring-action waist, which propelled his trident to shoot out of its socket when his torso sprang back.

Spikor appeared, alongside Two-Bad, in a fantastic fight scene on the card art of Terror Claws Skeletor.

Stronox Customs just recently created a MOTU Origins Spikor and this looks like a kit bash of the Classics buck and a MOTU Origins buck. His work is amazing and you can see what an Origins concept would look like for this figure!

The details that Stronox puts in his customs is second to none and it’s very cool to see a mash up of a Classics and an Origins buck. The varying purple paint apps of light and dark purple mixed with black give the figure a very interesting, fluid look!

Sssqueeze
Sssqueeze has got to be the most unusual of the Snake Men, with his large snake like wrapping arms! Released by Mattel in 1987, Sssqueeze with bright lime green skin color and large wrapping arms was a blast for kids to play with! His arms were made of a flexbile rubber with a wire wrapping around inside that allowed you to pose him in fun squeezing positions. Watch out He-Man or your gonna get the SSSQUEEZE!! Just like the other Snake Men, this figure too was a totally new sculpt. Squeeze did include the spring-loaded waste and was wearing purple chest armor with the green Snake Men logo. He came with an extra-long purple snake pet. This is one character I currently don’t own in my personal collection, but now after researching him, I am going to have to pick one up!

As we covered in our More Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023 article, our friends at CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS revealed that additional Snake Men were coming to Origins in 2023 which included King Hiss, Snake Face and Sssqueeze. Well we already say Kiss Hiss revealed at this year’s SDCC. And now we get teases of Sssqueeze on the Camo Khan Package.

According to the Wiki Grayskull:
Sssqueeze is a character in the Masters of the Universe franchise, He is a member of the Snake Men, who has the power to elongate his arms.
Sssqueeze first appears in the minicomic “Revenge of the Snake Men!“, where King Hiss summons him and Snake Face from the dimension where the Snake Men are trapped. He gets little character development, with Snake Face‘s powers being the main focus of the comic. Sssqueeze also appears in the minicomic “Energy Zoids“, where Rotar takes his long arm and uses him as a living mace. Sssqueeze also appears in the Marvel Comics series, first in issue #8, where he is depicted as a member of the Evil Horde, and later he makes a cameo in issue #12 as a member of the recently arrested Snake Men.

Eternian Guard Infiltrator
We believe that the Eternian Guard Infiltator will be similar to the Masters of the Universe Classics version that uses the snake head! This would be very easy for Mattel to make as they have already designed the Eternian Palace Guard in the Origins line.

To make an Eternian Guard Infiltrator figure, you will notice right off the bat is the Palace Guard reuses a bunch of parts from Man-At-Arms. For example, Man-at-Arms (MAA) gave us the green buck plus armor pieces on the left arm and left leg and with the Eternian Palace guard, we get new pieces for the right arm and right leg that are mirrored from the left. The belt has a nice red accent in the middle, which helps differentiate from the original MAA release.

The armor pieces on the left and right arms are separated to facilitate the bending of the elbows and the articulation. One issue with the armor on the arms is that it is very loose and easy to knock off, which was the same issue that Man at Arms suffered from. The forearm prices are more susceptible to falling down when posing so be careful. The bird emblem is raised and sculpted and reminiscent of the MOTU Classics Palace Guards set. It’s a brand new armor piece and it’s great to have this armor in the vintage Origins style. The head has a face-shield covering the face to make the figure a non description look so you can army build. It will be interesting to see if they include this aspect if they do a standard release of the Eternian Guard Infiltrator figure.

Snake Trooper
The result of a fusion between Snake Men Soldiers and the technology of the Horde Troopers, the Snake Trooper would be another figure that Mattel could easily create as they mostly use the Horde Trooper buck with a new head.

The Snake Troopers were introduced in a three pack that was inspired by the unreleased 1988 vintage concept wave. The price per set that year was $165.00, and surprisingly, it is still available at the Big Bad Toy Store. Here are the promo pics and also the final product from 2019:

This is the exact same mold that was used for the red and black Horde Troopers from the Power Con 2020 Evil Horde 4-Pack and I think the silver Horde Trooper looks like the commander in the bunch for me but in order to not go into army building debt, the silver troopers will need to be the ones that make up the bulk of the army.

Snake Teela
The Snake Teela was an exclsuive and one of the best reviews of the figure we have seen on by ActionFigureBarbecue, where he states:
Teela looks amazing. I really like the 200x Teela figure as she was a fantastic, modern update to Teela. I really wish MOTUC had included a 200x styled Teela at some point. This figure takes the standard Teela, gives her armor a darker paintjob (with more details), and gives her green, scaly snake skin. Yeah, the snaky detail is simply painted on but it sure does look good. She’s very bold and colorful, almost possessing the “cel-shaded” look you see in some video games.
Action Figure Barbecue
As far as an origins figure, they would mostly reuse the Teela buck but it would be amazing to see a green skinned, textured version but they need to be careful that the figure does not resemble the Goddess. It would be cool to see crazy hair and fangs on the head sculpt but that might be wishful thinking!

In the second season episode of the MYP cartoon series “Second Skin” King Hsss uses the Serpent’s Ring to turn a number of folks, including Man-At-Arms, Mekaneck, and Teela into Snakemen.

Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms
The 200x line was known for some pretty cool sculpts and concepts and Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms would be a great addition to the Snake Men line. We would love to see his oversized armor and his claw attachment as a weapon! This figure would be another easy one to make and would require some extra armor and his accessory.

The unique detailing on the armor would be another cool feature! With his mace that doubles as a grappling claw, this figure is bordering on a deluxe for Origins (but don’t tell Mattel!!!)
