King Randor
King Randor is one of my personal favorite characters, and it is so cool to get to see this new 200x version of King Randor looks in hand! This more youthful, battle ready version of Randor looks fantastic in hand! King Randor looks amazing as he is set off in the Rise of the Snake Men card back with his armor and mechanical leg from the Masters of the Universe MYP animated series. You can also see the 200x logo, which is a real treat! His new armor design in the gold and red looks incredible. You can also see his armored right leg new cape design.

Here we can see King Randor looking very regal in his new 200x outfit with some Eternian Royal Guards flanking his side. Randor looks more youthful, but is still wearing a 200x inspired crown on his head, and yes he still has a little “Burger King” in his face! He includes a staff similar to the one that came with the MOTU Classics version which is MYP inspired. He also has a more armor-clad right leg and boot, and the standard left leg with furry topped boot.

Here you can see what King Randor looks like from the back and without his cape! That extra skirtng he is wearing makes him look extra special.

Slamurai
Slamurai, which is a cool white ninja repaint version of Ninjor is looking amazing in these in hand images! It’s amazing to see another heroic warrior in the mix to fend off the Snake Men. He has a new Ninja heroic logo on his chest which is different than the Evil Warriors ninja logo of Ninjor! This looks like it is going to be the fan favorite of the wave! This figure now comes with a blue bow and arrow, white nunchucks and a silver sword.

Snake Trooper
Here we get some incredible close-up images both in package and out of package for the Snake Trooper! The Snake Trooper looks amazing in these close-up images! You can see how good the Snake head looks in the Horde Trooper armor and how well it sits! Mattel has reused the Horde Trooper body and looks like is using the Rattlor Snake Head in green. He comes with a red Horde Trooper staff and a red snake man shield like the one that came with King Hiss. This will definitely be one of the more sought-after army builders! Compared to the official image, the in-hand image looks amazing!

It looks like Mattel might have adjusted the collar area to help the Snake head fit better with in the Horde Trooper armor.

Here we get a clear image of the card back art, cross sell and bar code. Be sure to check out or

Snake Teela
Snake Teela looks to be a reuse of the original Teela figure, but as you can see they added some additional details to her shoulders with the flared shoulder armor. Also the colors of here outfit are all new. The face sculpt looks incredible in hand, and you can see that they even included snake fangs on her face! She comes with a green snake staff and green version of the sword that came with the Teela and Zoar Two Pack. You can see they also added a sword sheath on her back, which is all new to the Teela figure. Her boots are also reminiscent of the Teela 200X character, so perhaps that is what Mattel has in store for us in the future!

King Randor (200x)
Here we get our first in hand images of the King Randor 200X figure! King Randor looks amazing as he is set off in the Rise of the Snake Men card back with his armor and mechanical leg from the Masters of the Universe MYP animated series. You can also see the 200x logo, which is a real treat! Compared to the official image, the in hand image looks just as good and that gold on his armor is amazing!

Below is a look at the In Hand images of the MOTU Origins card back where we can see both the card art and the cross sell! The card art shows a 200x illustration of King Randor tangled with 200x Skeletor!

Slamurai
Slamurai is a very cool looking figure, even though he is a repaint of Ninjor, I can’t wait to get him in hand! Slamurai is just what we thought he would be as he is a repaint of Ninjor! It’s amazing to see another heroic warrior in the mix to fend off the Snake Men. Compared to the official image, the in hand image looks just as good and that ninja logo on his chest looks really sharp!

On the card back art for Slamurai, we see him battling it out with none other than Lord Gr’asp! As you might know, Lord Grasp was already teased on the Camo Khan card art as well! This is a major tease to yet another potential upcoming Origins figure! We will cover Lord Grasp below.

Snake Trooper
The Snake Trooper looks exactly like how we thought he would look! Getting to see him in hand, you can see how good the Snake head looks in that Horde Trooper armor! Mattel has reused the Horde Trooper body and has sculpted a new Snake Head! This will definitely be one of the more sought after army builders! Compared to the official image, the in hand image looks amazing!

Here we can see the Snake Troopers being schooled by none other than Strobo! This is a major tease to yet another potential upcoming Origins figure!

Snake Trooper on Walmart
We recently discovered the Walmart Listing for Snake Trooper! Keep checking back to see when this figure comes in stock!

Snake Teela
Snake Teela is looking fantastic in person! This figure looks amazing and so well executed! The skin is the perfect shade of green and the snake paint app looks fantastic! It’s interesting that she does not come with the 200x sticker on the front of the card as she was also introduced in the MYP MOTU 200x animated series. Compared to the official image, the in hand image looks of Teela are fantastic with all those snake markings!

The card back art shows Snake Teela battling with Snake Armor He-Man, and the Snake version of King Hiss lurking in the background!

Wave 13 Card Art Teases
Lord Gr’asp
Lord Gr’asp is featured on the back of the Slamurai card art. So let’s take a closer look at who Lord Gr’asp is and where else he was teased! What is cool about this figure, if you know the history, is that he was one of several unnamed characters planned for the 1988 wave of the Masters of the Universe toy line, the character appeared on unreleased Mattel cardback artwork illustrated by Errol McCarthy. In 2017, the character was given the name Lord Gr’Asp and released as part of a three-pack with Terroar and Plasmar.Lord Gr’Asp was part of a 2017 PowerCon exclusive3 pack that included Terroar, Plasmar & Lord Gr’Asp.

Lord Gr’asps bio reads: One of the Unnamed One’s elite generals, Lord Gr’Asp used his vile cunning to orchestrate his master’s escape from the Nameless Dimension. He first made an alliance with Horde Prime and persuaded him to destroy the Kaydex Crystal, damaging the barrier that kept the Unnamed One trapped. With a legion of Horde-armored Snake Troopers at his command, Gr’Asp then convinced Hordak and King Hssss to join forces on Eternia. Gr’Asp and his warriors escaped defeat during the Second Ultimate Battleground, but later joined forces with Lady Slither to reconquer Eternia after the Unnamed One’s demise. While Gr’Asp is a master of strategy, he prefers to lurk in the shadows and snatch unsuspecting victims in his Captor Claw rather than engage in a fair fight. While he claims to admire the stealth and skill of enemies like Slamurai and Zodak, he also viciously exploits the naïveté of younger opponents like Strobo and Prince Dare. Lord Gr’Asp hopes to resurrect both the Horde Empire and the Snake Men, but only to help him steal the knowledge of Grayskull for himself.

Lord Gr’asp had some unreleased card back art from the unreleased Powers of Grayskull line. Here again it looks like he is battling Plasmar.

Lord Gr’asp & Terroar can seen in multiple locations of the Camo Khan Card art. Illustrated standing by King Hiss’ throne and also coming thru a portal with Camo Khan, Lord Gr’asp & Terroar along with Reptilax, an unproduced Classics concept, look ready to attack.

Strobo
Strobo, teased on the Snake Trooper card back, is the light powered cosmic enforcer came out in the Masters of the Universe Classics line. He reused parts from Zodac and Sy-Klone and had a mirrored sticker in the middle of his chest. According to the Wiki Grayskull,

“Strobo is a character who appears in a single Masters of the Universe comic story, but he was seemingly planned for the toyline, as his appearance reuses Zodac’s head with a white helmet and Sy-Klone’s body in fleshtone and red details, plus a blue cape. Strobo’s power is that, when light reaches the reflector on his chest, he spins and sends light in all directions. Strobo’s only appearance was in the story “The Dark Power of Skeletor” from the Masters of the Universe Magazine. In it, Skeletor sends Blast-Attak, Ninjor and Sssqueeze after an spherical container that is buried underground. He-Man, Battle Cat, Rio Blast and Strobo try to stop them, but the villains escape. The container has a fragment of dark star that passed by Eternia, and gives Skeletor the power to spread an evil shadow over the land and control over all territory under the shadow. This allows Skeletor to take over Castle Grayskull, but the Heroic Warriors use a secret entrance to reach the throneroom, and He-Man sends a ray of light from his Power Sword to Strobo’s reflector, whose powers send the light to the meteor and destroy it.”
Wiki Grayskull – Strobo

Strobos bio reads: Chosen as Zodac’s replacement in the Cosmic Enforcers, Strobo was tasked by the Overlords of Trolla to investigate his predecessor’s assassination on Eternia. Finding Jitsu ruling Snake Mountain and evil spreading across the land, Strobo carried out his Masters’ assignment by forcefully maintaining neutrality in He-man’s absence. He turned the tide of several battles, fighting both with and sometimes against, the remaining Masters of the Universe. Stobo wears armor enhancements originally created by the scientists of Anwat Gar. His chest plate can project force fields and energy blasts to stun or even disintegrate those who oppose his will. Strobo uses the forces of light to battle his enemies.

Strobo also had some unreleased card back art from the unreleased Powers of Grayskull line. Here again it looks like he is battling against 2 Snake Troopers just like on the MOTU Origins Snake Trooper card back art! I wonder where they got the idea? LOL!
