September 7, 2022: Box and Art Reveal

Today, Manuel Eduardo_Caritas revealed his illustrations for the forthcoming Rulers of the Sun Masterverse Sun-Man figure plus he is available for preorder!

Revealed back in Mid March, 2022, the Masterverse Sun-Man looks absolutely stunning in his armor and translucent wings! In sharp contrast to his Origins release, the Masterverse Sun-Man has been given a more angelic set of translucent yellow wings and he looks more like his version 2 release. His chest armor features a metallic gold and red color scheme that match his forearm bracers and his boots, tying everything together.

Box and Art

Up until now, we’ve only seen official images of the figure so it is great to see a produced version and how it looks packed in the Masterverse Ruler’s of the Sun Window display box. You also see the side art that has an image of Sun-Man with a glorious orange light of sun behind his beautiful yellow wings. The rear box art show Sun-Man flying over Eternia with his wings spread out holding his staff and shield. We also get to see the crosser sell for the rest of the wave, which includes Battle Armor He-Man, He-Ro and Jitsu.

The new package reveals both the amazing box art, but we also get to take a look at Sun-Man’s bio as well. His bio reads:

We have all the official images for Masterverse Sun-Man and we can’t wait to see him in hand! This Masterverse version comes with the same sun shield, red staff and signature yellow wings! On Day 4 of Mattel’s big reveals week, we got our first look at the Masterverse Sun-Man, well today we can see a lot more of him! We originally broke the news of Sun-Man coming to the Masterverse line back in February! It’s wonderful to see this Masterverse interpretaion of Sun-Man, as a lot of us are just receiving our Origins version. If you haven’t checked out our In-Depth Review on him, you gotta see it!. You can see he comes with his signature sheild, red angle staff and an extra pair of hands. Interestingly enough, now that we get a glimpse of his back side, you will notice that his wings are articulated!!
