Most likely they purchased them from the Paulmart store at Frank and Sons in Los Angeles, as Paulmart had them in their store booth at Frank and Sons, and then their online website: Paulmartstore,. Thanks to both motu.revolution • on Instagram and @playtimereturns on Instagram, we get to look at some out of package images of The Sorceress, Man E Faces and Shadow Weaver!
Let’s start with our very own Toy Sorceress’ name sake, the Sorceress! She looks spectacular, with a multilayered soft goods cape in her signature orange and blue colors! Here her sculpt looks spectacular, right out of the Revelation cartoon series! She comes with her signature white eagle staff! Thanks again to both motu.revolution • on Instagram and @playtimereturns on Instagram, for these Sorceress images!

Finally we have Shadow Weaver, looking most mysterious and beautiful! She has a soft goods robe, a mystical staff and fireball lighting effect accesory! She even comes with a flight stand to look like she is floating in air! Thanks again to motu.revolution • on Instagram and and @playtimereturns on Instagram, for these Shadow Weaver images!

Paulmartstore strikes again as they have an early release of three out of the four Masterverse Wave 8 figures, including Man-E-Faces, Shadow Weaver, and the Sorceress. It’s exciting to see the next wave of Masterverse figures as we are getting a quartet from each of the sublines, including New Eternia, Princess of Power, Revelation, and Rulers of the Sun. Man-E-Faces, Shadow Weaver, and the Sorceress are available for purchase at the Paulmartstore, depending on quantities and if the figures are not in the search results, it means they are sold out.

Shadow Weaver
During Comic Con 2022, Mattel revealed 8 new Masterverse figures across 3 of their main sub-lines of New Eternia, and Princess of Power, and Revelation. One of the newest figures to join the Princess of Power subline is the mysterious Shadow Weaver! Special thanks to CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS on Instagram, we’ve got an official in package image of the new Masterverse Shadow Weaver figure. As we obtain this image from our friends CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS on Instagram, it is a little blurry but hopefully we will track down another image that is clearer but for now, this is what we have to work with. So at this point, by process of elimination…Wave 8 must be Man-E-Faces, Shadow Weaver, Pig-Head, and Sorceress!

Shadow Weaver Official Images
Shadow Weaver looks amazing as she has a flame effect and her magic wand staff plus and extra set of hands!

Her soft goods cape is tattered in all the right places and it drapes over her beautifully!

Her arms a lot more yellow than the images and figure we saw at SDCC 2022 but we all know that there are major differences between the “official” photos and the actual figures once they are produced so only time will tell! We are sure the yellow tones will probably be different when we get to see the figure in hand but she looks great!

Shadow Weaver SDCC 2022 Reveal
Below you can see the images of the latest figures to be unveiled at last year’s San Diego Comic Con. Another epic character making her way to the PoP line is Shadow Weaver! She comes with a stand so it looks like she is floating and there is articulation inside the body where she connects to the stand so you can pose her side to side. She also comes with a soft goods cape with the sleeves going over her arms. She also comes with her scepter and a fireball that attaches to it. Shadow Weaver official production image looks a bit different than her that her the prototype, as you can see the most obvious difference is her arm and hands skin tone is now green!! This is a big change from the pinker skin toned Shadow Weaver we saw at SDCC. With her flowing hot pink dress, it really looks like she is floating. This will be one spectacular Masterverse figure! but I am not sure about that change in skin tone. We shall see how that turns out, once we have her in hand.

About Shadow Weaver
According to Shadow Weaver | Wiki Grayskull | Fandom
Shadow Weaver is a fictional character in the animated television series She-Ra: Princess of Power. She is a powerful sorceress and member of The Horde. She is shown as being second-in-command to Hordak, the tyrannical leader of the planet Etheria. When the infant Princess Adora was kidnapped, it was Shadow Weaver who cast a spell on her so that she would believe the deceptions of The Horde and blindly follow their evil ways. Unlike many of the Evil Horde, Shadow Weaver was created by Filmation and did not have a figure released in the original toyline. However, Mattel’s access to Filmation rights after 2011 has resulted in a figure of her in the MOTU Classics toyline
Shadow Weaver was a practicing apprentice sorceress originally from the Kingdom of Mystacor. Her real name was never stated. She, along with a rival sorceress named Castaspella, was being trained by a great Etherian sorcerer named Norwyn. When Hordak arrived on Etheria, he promised Shadow Weaver vast power in exchange for information, to which she agreed. Shadow Weaver revealed the secret location of the Etherian Council of Kings and joined The Horde as Shadow Weaver.
Only a second-rate sorceress herself, her powers were greatly increased through a Power Gem which was responsible for a devastating and unforeseen physical transformation. While absorbing the power of the Horde’s “dark gem”, Norwyn discovered and realized her great betrayal. He then destroyed the gem, severing her link with the gem, but not before she had taken a third of its power, inducing an irreversible change in her mentally and spiritually. She became Norwyn’s mortal enemy and joined The Horde forever.

Shadow Weaver was released previously for the Masters of the Universe Classics line in first in 2012, in a more detailed MOTUC version. Then released again in 2019, resembling her Filmation Princess of Power look for the Club Grayskull line by Super7.

Man-E-Faces
Special thanks to CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS on Instagram, we’ve got an official in package image of the new Masterverse Man-Faces figure. This confirms our suspicions that Man-E-Faces was to be released as part of the New Eternia subline so this great to see an actual official image. As we obtain this image from our friends CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS on Instagram, it is a little blurry but hopefully we will track down another image that is clearer but for now, this is what we have to work with.

Man-E-Faces
Man-E-Faces was revealed at this SDCC 2022. We believe that this version of Man-E-Faces will be from the New Eternia line given his pack out! Unless he is featured in the upcoming Netflix animated Revolution series, he could very well be one of the figures included in the line as Kevin Smith said that they are “pulling time honored characters off the shelf” for this one! Either way, the figure looks fantastic! His faces still spin plus he also comes with extra faceplates in a gear box for his acting side hustle. Top it off with his classic blaster and an extra set of hands and you have a recipe for a great figure! Not only do you get the classic 3 faces for Man E Faces, but he comes packed with 3 more new ones!
Faces for Man E Faces:
- Classic Man E Faces Human Face
- Classic Green Monster Face
- Classic Robot Face
- New Skull Face
- New Blue Actor Mustache Face
- New Pink & White Robotic Face

Below is an image from this year’s San Diego Comic Con display, showing off the prototype of Man E Faces and he looks amazing! Can’t wait for this one!.

Sorceress
The Sorceress was revealed at this year’s SDCC and she looked like she was straight out of the Revelation cartoon.! Today thanks to ¡Yo tengo el Poder! on Instagram, we got official images of the Sorceress! Complete in her classic orange, blue and white outfit, they captured the look the classic Sorceress we all know and love, but with a bit of that Revelation animated feel. She includes her signature white bird staff and even comes with a soft goods cape! Personally, I am super excited about this figure, but why won’t I be, I’m the Toy Sorceress! !Let’s take a close look at the guardian of Castle Grayskull and the Toy Sorceress’s name sake!
Here we can see the Sorceress in all her birdly glory! They did an amazing job translating the animated version into an action figure! Also you can see that Mattel choose to homage the vintage figure by using the black outlines for the for feathers on her skirt! Her headdress is also in the classic style with the white falcon with orange accents and a blue beak.
The Soceress comes packed with 2 alternate hands, her white bird staff and a removeable cape. Here we can see all the beautiful detail in her cape. They retained the orange and blue feathered design and even included loops for the cape to attach to her arms to give it that open “winged” look when she is wearing it!
The face on this version of the Sorceress looks great! She has a stern but wise and kind look all at the same time. The eyes and makeup on her also look fantastic!
Soceress on the Revelation Cartoon
Pictured below, you can see images of the Sorceress from the Netflix Masters of the Universe Revelation Cartoon. Mattel did an amazing job, recreating the look of her! I think they blended the look of her face perfectly with both that strong animated look, but kind and beautiful at the same time.

Sorceress at SDCC
They did a fantastic job capturing the likeness of the Sorceress from the Revelation series! She looks her age so to speak as the previous versions of the Sorceress look a lot younger. She comes with her classic staff, a soft goods cape, and an extra set of hands!

The Filmation Sorceress
On the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon of the 1980’s the Sorceress was the wise protector of Castle Grayskull. She was always summoning He-Man’s help to protect the Castle from Skeletor and he evil henchmen!
According to Sorceress of Castle Grayskull – Wikipedia
In the Filmation series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, the Sorceress is the mistress and guardian of the Secrets of Castle Grayskull, the source of He-Man’s great power. With a vast knowledge of magic and history, she is among the wisest beings on Eternia. He-Man often seeks her counsel, especially when situations are at their worst. In the Filmation series, the Sorceress demonstrates saintly qualities such as humility and appears to other characters who are in need of guidance. However, since her powers are tied to Castle Grayskull, they weaken when she leaves its walls. When she does need to travel, though, she generally assumes the form of a falcon known as Zoar. This weakness was removed from the character with the re-emergence of the Three Towers of Eternia, allowing her to travel freely in her human form. The Sorceress is also the mother of Teela, a childhood friend of Prince Adam and Captain of the Royal Guard, whose aggressive temperament is a far cry from that of her soft-spoken mother. When Teela was an infant, the Sorceress gave her to Duncan (Man-At-Arms), to raise as his own, because the Sorceress felt that Castle Grayskull was too dangerous a place for her daughter to be raised. In the episode “Teela’s Quest”, Teela sets out to discover the truth of her mother from The Oracle of the Crystal Sea. She succeeds, but the Sorceress erases the revelation from Teela’s memory for her own good, even though she desperately wishes she could tell her the truth. Other than Man-At-Arms, the only others who share the secret are He-Man, Battle Cat, and the Oracle of the Crystal Sea. It is also established in this episode that the Sorceress’ daughter is destined to someday take her place as the magical guardian of Castle Grayskull.
Sorceress of Castle Grayskull – Wikipedia

The real name of the current Sorceress is Teela-Na. Her history is revealed in the 1984 episode “The Origin of the Sorceress”, in which her past nemesis Morgoth returns and attacks Eternia. While waiting for Morgoth to reappear, the Sorceress explains to He-Man how she became the guardian of Castle Grayskull. Her home, the village of Nowella, was attacked, and subsequently conquered, by Morgoth and his allies Ferros, Repta, and Rachney, servants of the Evil Horde, although they were not mentioned by that name until later on. With the aid of an old storyteller’s rhyme (In barren places find ye hope/And where no water flows, no plant grows, no wind blows/Find all you need…), Teela Na sought out Castle Grayskull, which she hoped would help her find a way to defeat her captors. Just as she was about to succumb to the Eternian wastelands, the mystical fortress appeared before Teela Na’s eyes, and she was invited inside by a mysterious voice. Once inside she came across an old woman named Kuduk Ungol, her predecessor as the Sorceress.[4] Kuduk invited her to take up the mantle of Castle Grayskull’s protector, which she accepts and is imbued with the powers of Castle Grayskull. Once she had taken her place as the guardian of Castle Grayskull, the Sorceress returned to Nowella and overthrew the invaders before returning to her new home inside Castle Grayskull. Kuduk Ungol was gone by this time, her fate unrevealed.

Vintage Soceress
The Vintage Sorceress was released in 1987 by Mattel as part of the last of the line before it came to an end in the 1980’s. Outfitted in her classic blue, orange and white outf, she is the quintessential version for any MOTU collector! You can see a mint carded version below, and in this final wave, Mattel had chosen to add an illustration of the character to the front of the card art which I really enjoyed! The loose version pictured below is my Sorceress figure from my own personal collection and she is stunning!
