MOTU 200x He-Man & Clawful 1/12 Scale Mondo Preorders

Showcased at SDCC 2025, Mondo had their new line of MOTU 200x 1/12 Scale figures on display, and Fans got their first in-person look at a fully painted version of Clawful, along with unpainted prototypes of Man-At-Arms and Skeletor that bring the bold, stylized energy of the 200x era into sharp focus. He-Man also made an appearance once again, rounding out an impressive display that gives collectors a glimpse of what’s to come in this evolving line. Preorders for He-Man Timed and Standard, and Clawful Timed are now LIVE at Mondoshop.com.

Box Designs by Emiliano Santalucia

As part of the update on Mondo’s 200x Twelfth Scale Masters of the Universe line, artist Emiliano Santalucia has revealed the first look at the packaging for He-Man and Clawful, giving collectors a glimpse of how this new line will be presented on shelves and in displays. The box designs carry the bold, modernized 200x aesthetic that fans have come to love, with sharp graphics and vibrant character-focused artwork that set the tone for the figures inside.

He-Man

The box art for the 200x Mondo He-Man shows him standing strong in front of Castle Grayskull, gripping the Power Sword with both hands as green lightning crackles around the blade. His face is set with determination, and you can see his axe slung across his back along with a shield lying at his side. The background features a moody, storm-lit sky with jagged trees framing the scene, giving the whole piece an intense and powerful vibe that matches the energy of the 200x era design.

The box back features Castle Grayskull looming large with its iconic skull façade set against a bold orange background. Centered text proclaims He-Man as “The Most Powerful Man in the Universe!” and gives his backstory, describing him as the son of King Randor and heir to the throne, with Prince Adam raising the Sword of Power to transform into He-Man. The write-up also ties in King Grayskull’s prophecy, noting He-Man’s unmatched strength and courage as he leads the Masters of the Universe against Skeletor and his Evil Warriors for the fate of Eternia. Below the bio, credits are given to Emiliano Santalucia for concept design and packaging art, May Thamrarana for sculpt, Mark Bristow for paint, Jordan Christianson for packaging design, and Hector Arce for art direction.

The box art for the 200x Mondo Clawful shows him emerging from the crashing surf, stomping across jagged rocks with water splashing around his feet. His massive red claws are raised, one poised for a strike while the other grips a green mace. The detailed sculpting of his shell and ridged armor plates across his chest and head give him a fierce crustacean look, and his snarling face adds to the intensity. The rocky coastline setting with scattered starfish and crashing waves completes the dynamic scene, really bringing his sea-monster origins to life.

The box back shows a fiery red background with a shadowy illustration of Clawful worked into the design in front of Snake Mountain. The text highlights him as “Warrior with the Grip of Evil” and details his history, explaining that he was imprisoned in the Dark Hemisphere and used his brute strength to help Keldor and his henchmen shatter the Mystic Wall. Aligned with Skeletor in his quest to overthrow Eternia, this Karikoni warrior is described as thriving in close combat, wielding a huge mace and his signature crushing claw. Credits are listed beneath the bio, with concept design and packaging art by Emiliano Santalucia, sculpt by Tommy Hodges, paint by Mark Bristow, packaging design by Jordan Christianson, and art direction by Hector Arce.

He-Man

The 1/12 scale He-Man from Mondo’s 200x line stands tall and powerful atop a cracked stone base, evoking the stylized energy of the early 2000s series. His sculpted musculature is accentuated by the signature red and gold cross emblem on his chest harness, which is intricately detailed with metallic accents and raised elements. Faux fur wraps around his boots and loincloth for added texture, while his face captures a focused and heroic expression. The iconic techno-style shield with red energy detailing rests in front of him, and the translucent stand gives the illusion of dynamic action while keeping the figure stable.

From the rear view, the 1/12 scale Mondo He-Man figure showcases impressive detailing on his oversized techno battle axe, which features mechanical and mystical design elements highlighted in silver, gold, green, and red. The clear stand securely supports his raised pose, giving the figure dynamic elevation atop a rugged rock base with sculpted roots and greenery. Clawful

Mondo’s MOTU 200x Clawful figure bursts with sculpted detail and a commanding presence. The character’s design leans heavily into the crustacean-inspired armor from the 200x series, with rugged textures across his hulking frame and a dramatic head sculpt full of menace. His oversized claw is jagged and imposing, complemented by a sharp paint wash that gives it a gritty, battle-worn look. His armored belt, layered loincloth, and gauntlets are painted with metallic blues and reds, adding depth to his warrior appearance. He stands on a themed base, surrounded by tiny sea creatures and cracked terrain, anchoring him firmly in an aquatic battleground. The added accessories and vivid deco help bring this undersea brute to life with premium flair.

Skeletor

The prototype of 200x Skeletor from Mondo’s Twelfth Scale line captures a menacing and highly detailed interpretation of the Evil Lord of Destruction. Cast entirely in gray resin, the figure highlights the sharp sculpting with exaggerated musculature, jagged armor edges, and layered textures across the chest, gauntlets, and boots. He wields a large Havoc Staff topped with a ram skull and twin horns, perfectly evoking the stylized aesthetic of the 200x series. Twin swords are crossed on his back, held in an elaborate harness that integrates into his spiked shoulder armor. The base mimics cracked stone terrain, enhancing the dramatic pose and giving a sense of power and weight to the overall display. The fierce expression and skeletal visage peek from beneath a hooded cowl, offering an exciting glimpse into what promises to be a formidable addition to the growing MOTU lineup.

Man-At-Arms

Mondo’s 1/12 scale prototype of 200x Man-At-Arms captures the character’s armored, battle-hardened appearance in striking detail. The figure features a heavily plated sculpt with prominent rivets and mechanical elements worked into the shoulder and chest armor, all molded in solid gray resin for the prototype. He holds a large, tech-inspired mace, and the figure’s classic furry loincloth is rendered with realistic fabric texture. From the back, the segmented armor and mechanical tubing continue the tech-fantasy hybrid aesthetic, with intricate sculpting running down the limbs and boots. The stone-like display base adds an extra layer of depth, helping to anchor the figure in a fitting Eternian environment.
