Huge thanks to @manuel_eduardo_caritas for posting these stunning hi-res images of the packaging and artwork for the upcoming MOTU Core Battle For Eternia Playset, and wow, this is super exciting! We get a gorgeous look at Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain together on one incredible package, with artwork by @fetch.franciscoetchart that just radiates that classic Eternia energy we all love. The graphic design and art direction come courtesy of Manuel himself alongside @brucemode, and the whole presentation really captures the epic scale of He-Man vs. Skeletor in the most amazing way. I love how the packaging leans into that timeless battle between the two most iconic strongholds in all of Eternia. Castle Grayskull standing tall against the menacing Snake Mountain, with Golden Armor Skeletor scheming away, it just hits all the right notes for those of us who grew up dreaming about this exact showdown. The copy on the package paints such a fun picture of the conflict and I can already imagine how incredible this playset is going to look displayed. The team behind this deserves a ton of credit, from toy design by @redingersteven to packaging engineering by @lpukhrambam and copywriting by @melissa.karlin. The Battle for Eternia playset box features sprawling painted artwork that really sells the scope of what’s inside. You can see how the illustration splits the conflict across the packaging, with Castle Grayskull rising through flames on the left while Snake Mountain looms under purple lightning on the right, a massive serpent head glowing with a fiery orange eye overhead.

Here’s a closer look at the side panel of the box, which wraps the artwork around the corner with a menacing close-up of Skeletor’s hooded skull, one red eye glowing beneath the cowl. The lower portion of the panel features a small inset window showing the included Golden Armor Skeletor figure, framed against the dark purple gradient of the packaging.

The reverse side of the packaging showcases the full illustration by Francisco Etchart, and it’s gorgeous. He-Man dominates the composition in his signature chest armor with the red iron cross emblem, his blonde hair swept back, while Castle Grayskull towers behind him alongside scattered figures including what appears to be Man-At-Arms, Teela, and Trap Jaw clashing across the rocky terrain below.

This panel of the artwork by Manuel Eduardo Caritas focuses on the Snake Mountain side of the conflict, with Skeletor’s skull face looming enormous over the scene, his purple hood draped heavy and his single red eye burning. Below, you can spot Grizzlor with his wild mane, Scareglow crackling with energy, and what looks like Clawful charging forward with his axe, all swarming around the serpent-headed fortress as a river of lava splits the volcanic landscape.

The packaging artwork really comes alive when you see both halves together like this, with the warm golden explosion behind Castle Grayskull crashing directly into the cold purple storm swirling around Snake Mountain. I like how Francisco Etchart used that color divide to tell the whole story of the conflict, the two forces literally colliding in the sky above a shattered cliff edge separating the two sides.
