We recently reported that the Turtles of Grayskull Wave 2 figure assortment went up for preorder on Amazon! In a perplexing turn of events, a Mutated Moss Man deluxe figure listing as been added to Amazon’s catalogue. Muted Moss Man as always been a deluxe exclusive to Walmart so it will be interesting to see if he actually goes up for preorder and is available for purchase on Amazon, which will be music to collector’s ears! We are also not sure if this listing will become a 3rd party scalper listing or an official listing that will be ship and sold by Amazon! If Amazon does end up selling this, it will call into question Walmart’s exclusivity and stranglehold on the Turtles of Grayskull exclusives but only time will tell!

This MOTU Origins deluxe Moss Man figure represents an overlap of the worlds of Masters of the Universe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. At 7.2 inches tall, the mutated Moss Man has a removable harness and dramatic posable tentacles for a unique look. Mutated Moss Man Packaging
Roy and the MOTU team have already revealed the box and packaging for Mutated Moss Man but is amazing to see what the box looks like from photos that are not professionally produced! The design aesthetic for the entire Turtles of Grayskull line is stupendous!
On the inside of the box flap, there are illustrations of how to attach all of the accessories that Mutated Moss Man comes with!
On the right and left side panels on the box, you can see Moss Man in his “normal” mutated form and his Venus Flytrap mutation and the illustrations on the sides of the boxes are outstanding!
Mutated Moss Man also comes with a special card as a pack in!
Figure Details
Like Mutated Ram Man and Mutated He-Man, Mutated Moss Man comes in a translucent green plastic with an array of mutated pink foliage that you can put on and take off his body. He share some of the parts that were created for the Skeletor and Demogorgon two-pack so it’s great to see what those parts will look once that figure get produced and in collector’s hands.
His pink tentacles attach to his back for more displayability options! The tentacles also appear to be a translucent pink plastic.
Here is Moss Man with his neck extension that is meant for either his head sculpt or the Venus Flytrap
Whether the flytrap looks gives you Little Shop of Horror vibes or has you humming the Hall and Oates Man-eater song (Oh yes, I went there), he’s an odd, quirky looking figure that was totally unexpected in the line! If you don’t remember the lyrics to Man-eater, hopefully this will refresh your memory with the lyrics slightly altered to fit Moss Man’s vibe!

Accessories
Mutated Moss Man comes with so many ways to pose and display him! He has wide-stretching rotating tentacles, swappable man-eating fly trap head and twisted vine claw arm extensions.
You can make some pretty insane looks with the twisted vine claw extensions and you can literally “have it your way baby” with all of the display options!
Here are some up close looks at the pink tentacles and armor, which are removable.
Last but not least is his chest tentacle and back tentacle armor (foliage, vines, etc.)!

Mutated Moss Man Box Reveal
Roy Juarez and team dropped the Mutated Moss Man box reveal on Instagram today! The mutated mossy warrior is slotted as a Walmart exclusive and it’s great to see the box art and packaging. The Turtles of Grayskull deluxe figures are off the chain and if Mouse-Jaw is any indication of the quality, details, and playability, we are in for a cool treat with the deluxe figures!
Roy announced on Instagram:
“Eternia’s living manifestation of nature, Moss Man, joined He-Man to investigate the mysterious disturbance at the Swamp of Gangoon. After an ambush took him out of commission, Moss Man rose from what felt like a nightmarish slumber as brainwashed abomination of all he once held dear.”
Mutated Moss Man Packaging
The Muated Moss Man packaging is stellar and the translucent green figure is the perfect color for the whole presentation of the box and artwork!
On the side panels, you can see Moss Man in his mutated form! On the right panel he has a more “normal” look and on the left panel he has his Little Shop of Horrors look!
On the back of the box you can see Mutated Moss Man tangling (pun intended) with Leonardo in a cool swamp scene.
Mutated Moss Man
Mutated Moss Man looks to be a cross between Moss Man and the stranger things Demogorgon. He is made of translucent green plastic and not flocked. He comes packed with a Demogorgon accessory and 2 translucent blue blast effects.
Mutated Moss man is wearing some crazy purple armor that looks very organic, like weeds growing off his body. He has brand new beast like hands and he has Demogorgon feet!
From all angles, Moss Man looks like a force to be reckoned with!
