So much toy news keeps oozing out of New York Toy Fair 2025, and the Playmates booth is no exception! See how I worked in “ooze” into that intro 😉 Anyhoo, it’s been a crazy busy day with toy news, but we wanted to be sure to bring you the incredible images that came out of the Playmates booth showcasing their latest offering of TMNT Classics figures, vehicles and playsets! Yes playsets, as they revealed their new Sewer Lair Playset! They had on display their new Mutant Module and Foot Cruiser vehicles! They are also bringing back figures and vehicles from the 2012 Nickelodeon line as well. So let’s dive into these Playmates TMNT Classics New York Toy Fair 2025 Booth Images! Classics Figures
Below we get a huge assortment of new TMNT Classics figures! Amongst them are Chrome Dome, Anthrax, Wyrm, Rahzar, Tokka and others!
Foot Cruiser
The Foot Cruiser was always one of my favorites, as it’s a classic car full of TMNT evil Mutants! This is just such a fun vehcile with the purple color and the classic chrome accents!
Mutant Module Classic
Next we get to see the final production sample of the Classic Reissue Mutant Module on display. The Mutant Module was a three-wheeled, amphibious vehicle that resembled a futuristic motorcycle that could transform into a hovercraft. It looks glorious and we can’t wait to get our hands on this one! We also got a full view of the packaging. We want to thank one of our viewers Bethany for sending us this full image. 2012 TMNT
They also featured rereleases of the 2012 TMNT Turtles and their corresponding Party Wagon! I still have my original 2012 Turtles! It seems like just yesterday when these came out!
Sewer Lair Playset
Revealed at the Playmates panel at San Diego Comic Con 2024, the Sewer Lair and the Mutant Module were showcased! In living color comes the amazing Sewer Lair Playset from the TMNT Playmates Classics line revealed at Toy Fair 2025! The box and the full playset was on display in the Playmates booth and we have heard that this is a 1:1 scale with the vintage playset, which is not how the Technodrome was made when it was reissued. The playset was designed to mimic the look of the Turtles’ underground hideout in the sewers of New York City and it is great to have it rereleased!
The playset features multiple levels for the Turtles to play and hang out, including a street-level entrance and a sewer pipe slide for quick escapes. That Technodrome had a pipe on it that connects to none other than the Sewer Lair Playset! If you want to preorder the Technodrome, you can order it HERE.

The Vintage Sewer Lair Playset
The Playmates 1989 Sewer Lair Playset was a popular toy released as part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline. The playset was designed to mimic the look of the Turtles’ underground hideout in the sewers of New York City.
The playset featured multiple levels for the Turtles to play and hang out, including a street-level entrance and a sewer pipe slide for quick escapes. It also included features like a trap door, a working periscope, a zip line, and a spinning turntable.
The playset was designed to work with the action figures from the TMNT toyline, allowing kids to recreate scenes from the animated TV show and comic books. The playset was a popular item among fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and is now a highly sought-after collectible for both toy collectors and lovers of the TMNT franchise.
