Target has put up the Retro Punching He-Man and Skeletor MOTU Origins 80th Anniversary 2-Pack for preorder and it is now finally in stock!. This nostalgic Masters of the Universe Origins 2-pack celebrates the 80th Anniversary of Mattel and really packs a punch, with retro-style He-Man and Skeletor figures with punching action! A classic hero versus villain pack, the figures are designed at 5.5-inch scale with their original articulation and vintage-style “squishy” heads. The fun-filled “twist and punch” movements on both set them up for epic good vs. evil battles. Skeletor comes with a sword, havoc staff and removable chest and skirt armor. He-Man has a sword, a shield and an axe, and removable signature chest harness. The two swords can combine to create a Power Sword! Two vintage mini-comics included. UPDATE: As of October 2, 2025, this classic two-pack is now listed on Amazon but we are not sure if it’s a reseller or if this pack will be officially carried by the online retailer behemoth.

Keep your eyes peeled to Target store shelves, because according to Toy Shiz on Instagram, Target is slated for a toy aisle reset on Sunday, October 5th and the Retro Punch 80th Anniversary 2 pack might be hitting store shelves! - Celebrate 80 years of Mattel toys with this Masters of the Universe 2-pack of good vs. evil featuring a retro-style He-Man and Skeletor, both with a twist-and-punch motion for counter-punching fun!
- The Eternian hero and villain pack are designed at Origins 5.5-inch scale figures with throwback designs and original articulation. They include vintage-style “squishy” heads!
- Just like back in the day, these figures come with a dynamic arm-swinging punch! Just twist each figure at the waist and then release. Works on either side
- Ready for an old school display, He-Man has his signature chest harness (which is removable) and comes with Sword, Shield and Axe
- Skeletor has a Sword, Havoc Staff and removable chest and skirt armor. The two swords can combine to create a Power Sword!
- Reprints of two original Alfredo Alcala mini-comics are included to add to the vintage vibe.
The Masters of the Universe line is going back to it’s roots and kicking it old school with their reveal of a vintage style He-Man and Skeletor 2-Pack. According to yo_tengo_el_poder, “Rumors were there about a double pack with replica figures of vintage He-Man and Skeletor and we can confirm it on display at the Toyfair.” These figures look amazing and really harken back to their vintage roots where it all started! For our wallets sake, we hope this is not a trend and it’s just a one-off pack that commemorates Evil Lord of Destruction and The Most Powerful Man in the Universe.
