Skeletor and Teela MOTU Origins Movie Target Exclusive Preorder and Official Images

We’ve been tracking these two for a while now, from the early Teela prototype spotted on the Fright Fighter box to the first reveal of the movie Skeletor, and today we finally have official images and preorder listings for both the Masters of the Universe Origins Skeletor and Teela movie figures, now live as Target exclusives. Both figures are priced at $21.99 each with a ship date of September 24, which lines up nicely with the anticipated window for the 2026 live-action Masters of the Universe film’s promotional push. Although there is a very obvious error on Skeletor’s card as he will not come packed on a MOTU Origins ThunderCats card, Skeletor comes with his signature Havoc Staff and carries a design that leans into the classic Origins aesthetic while clearly pulling from the movie’s visual direction, and at 5.5 inches with 16 points of articulation and swappable parts, he fits right into the broader Origins ecosystem for collectors who like to mix and match across the line. Teela, featuring actress Camila Mendes’s likeness, includes a sword accessory and the same 16-joint articulation with removable and swappable parts compatible with other female Origins figures, which is a smart touch for anyone who enjoys customizing their shelf. I’m curious to see how the likenesses translate in hand, because official product shots can only tell you so much, but from what we’re seeing here the sculpts look solid and the proportions feel right for the Origins scale. Teela

The card art features a massive skull formation erupting with rocky spires and fiery energy, filling the upper half with a dramatic red and gold color palette. Teela is packaged with her sword accessory, and her white and gold outfit pops nicely against the intense reds of the backing card.

Teela’s gold corset has a ribbed texture running down the front, and the brown leather-wrapped bracers and crisscrossing harness straps add a nice layered feel to the outfit. Her boots feature a mix of maroon, brown, and gold wrapping that gives them a gladiatorial look, and the included sword has a pointed, angular blade with a sculpted crossguard.

Teela’s head sculpt captures a likeness with blue eyes, a slight smirk, and orange-red hair pulled back with a sculpted gold tiara piece. The white bodysuit contrasts sharply with the gold and brown armor elements across the torso and legs, keeping the color blocking clean and distinct.

The gold thigh armor has a sculpted emblem detail on its surface, and the brown leather wrapping around the boots and bracers has cleanly defined individual strands. Her sword features a wide, flat blade with a pointed tip and a chunky crossguard that fits well with the Origins scale.

Teela’s red boots have a nice chunky, rounded sculpt that reads well for the Origins scale, with gold bands wrapping at intervals up the shin. The mix-and-match compatibility is easy to spot here, with the torso and limbs showing clean separation points at the joints.

From the back, the harness straps buckle across Teela’s shoulders and loop around her waist, connecting to the thigh armor with clean sculpted fastening points. Her orange-red hair is sculpted in a tight bun with a few loose strands hanging down the neck, a subtle detail that’s easy to miss from the front.

Skeletor

There is a very obvious error on Skeletor’s card as he will not come packed on a MOTU Origins ThunderCats card. He does come packaged with his Havoc Staff.

Skeletor’s plastic cape drapes with real weight, featuring a pointed hood and a tattered, uneven hem along the bottom edge. The Havoc Staff has a ram skull topper with curling horns and detailed bone texture running down the full length of the shaft.

Skeletor’s blue body has a heavily textured sculpt with layered, scale-like detailing across the legs and torso, and a small red gem sits centered on his chest armor. The belt and loincloth armor feature intricate circular medallion and chevron patterns carved into the purple plastic, giving the lower half a lot of visual density for this scale.

Skeletor’s skull face sculpt has a yellow bone tone with red eyes peering out from beneath the pointed hood, and the brow ridges and nasal cavity are crisply defined. His purple bracers and greaves feature sculpted paneling and buckle details that match the ornate style of the belt and loincloth armor.

The tattered lower edge of the cape has an uneven, shredded texture that sells the worn, battle-damaged look nicely. Up close, the chest medallion’s circular carving and the layered shoulder armor with its etched patterning show just how much sculpt work they packed into this Origins-scale figure.
