Mondo TMNT Undercover Turtles Soft Vinyl SDCC 2026 Exclusives

Cowabunga! Nothing suspicious here, just four totally normal guys in trench coats walking down the street! Huge thanks to @mondonews for revealing what might be one of the most fun SDCC exclusives of the year. Mondo is bringing their amazing TMNT Soft Vinyl line back to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with a set of Undercover Turtles, and I am absolutely losing it over these. We’re talking brand new head sculpts, swappable fabric trench coats, fedora hats, and each Turtle’s signature weapons. This is one of the most iconic and hilarious visual gags from the original cartoon and I love that Mondo went all in on it. If you already own the original Mondo soft vinyl Turtles you know how incredible that line is, and these Undercover versions are the perfect companion pieces with those amazing new disguise accessories. They’ll be available online Wednesday, July 22 at 10 AM CT at MondoShop.com as well as at the Mondo SDCC booth in Hall G, booth #5137. No word yet on whether they’ll be sold as a four-pack or individually, and pricing hasn’t been revealed just yet, so keep your eyes on Mondo’s site where you can sign up for notifications. Clad in tan fabric trench coats with belted waists and brown fedora hats, all four Turtles are rocking their classic “undercover” disguise, and the soft vinyl sculpts underneath have a wonderfully chunky, cartoonish proportions that feel right at home with the original animated series aesthetic. Each Turtle’s signature colored mask peeks out from beneath the brim of their hat, with Donatello’s purple, Michelangelo’s orange, Leonardo’s blue, and Raphael’s red all contrasting nicely against the deep green skin tones and the neutral fabric of the coats.

Here’s a closer look at the weapons, and you can see how Leonardo’s crossed katanas catch your attention immediately with their long silver blades extending above the group. Donatello’s bo staff is tucked to the side, wrapped in gray fabric along the grip, while Raphael clutches his sai and Michelangelo keeps his nunchucks coiled close.

Leonardo and Donatello are up front here, and I like how the soft vinyl skin on their hands has a slightly different sheen and darker green tone compared to their faces, adding some nice variety to the sculpt. The trench coat fabric drapes convincingly over their shells, with the lapels sitting wide open to let their yellow plastron details peek through at the chest.

You can see how these figures fill up both hands at 8 inches tall, and the chunky soft vinyl proportions give them a satisfying heft that really sells the toy-like appeal. Something I appreciate here is that each Turtle has a brand new head sculpt with exaggerated, toothy grins and those bright white pupil-less eyes that nail the classic cartoon look.

Here are some fun shots of the whole crew with their trench coats and hats removed, and the soft vinyl sculpts underneath really shine with those exaggerated, stocky proportions and rich color separation between each Turtle’s darker or lighter green skin tones. Each belt buckle features the Turtle’s initial stamped into a circular medallion, with Donatello’s purple and Michelangelo’s orange wraps extending down to their knee pads, while Raphael’s red and Leonardo’s blue accents keep them immediately recognizable.

Armed with both katanas, Leonardo looks right at home in his undercover getup, and the brown fedora sits naturally over his blue mask with the tails trailing out behind the brim. The trench coat’s fabric has a weathered, slightly dusty quality to it that pairs well with the glossy soft vinyl of his green skin and the silver-gray finish on those katana blades.

Michelangelo gets his solo spotlight here, and I’m really digging the way his nunchucks feature a braided gray chain connecting two wooden-toned handles, with the sculpted texture on the chain giving it a rope-like quality. The gold buckle on his trench coat belt sits right at the waist, and you can see where his orange knee pads and thick green toes emerge below the coat’s hemline.

Raphael gets his turn in the spotlight, and those twin sai have a great weight to them, with thick silver prongs tapering to sharp points and brown leather-wrapped grips that fit snugly in his oversized green fists. One thing I noticed right away is how his red mask sits deep under the fedora’s brim, with the tails just barely sneaking out at the sides, giving him a more concealed look compared to how Leonardo’s blue tails flow freely.

Donatello gets his own moment here, and the gray tape wrapping around the center of his bo staff creates a clean break between the two warm, wooden-toned halves. His purple mask and knee pads almost glow against the olive-brown skin tone, and the trench coat’s wide collar frames his face nicely with its soft, slightly rumpled fabric folds.

It’s cool to see all four Turtles laid out together with their full accessory spread, and the four brown fedora hats arranged between the figures show subtle size variations that should help match each one to the right head sculpt. Each Turtle’s signature weapon flanks the group, from the nunchucks and katanas on the left to the bo staff and sai on the right, all scaled generously to match those chunky soft vinyl proportions.
