Sting-Or Masters of the Universe MOTU Mattel Creations October 2025 Preorder

We first caught a glimpse of Sting-Or back at San Diego Comic Con 2025, where he made a shocking debut as part of Mattel’s stunning Masters of the Universe Origins display, and now it looks like this venomous villain is finally about to make his way into collectors’ hands! According to a tease posted in the Club Grayskull MOTU forum, Sting-Or will officially go up for sale on Mattel Creations starting October 21, 2025, at 9am PT, giving fans their first chance to own this terrifying new member of the Evil Horde. The figure represents the Horde’s first-ever Origins appearance for this character, and he’s sure to inject a bit of bite into any display. Even better, Club Grayskull members are getting a 24-hour early access window from October 21 at 9:00am PT through October 22 at 8:59am PT to grab him before he hits the wider market. After seeing him revealed in all his chilling glory at SDCC, I’ve been waiting for this one, and it feels great to finally see that drop date locked in. Collectors, it’s time to get stung! The official images and order page for Sting-Or have now surfaced, confirming that everything is set for his launch on October 21, 2025, at 9am PT. The new images give us our best look yet at this fan-favorite character, featuring his bold blue and yellow armor, signature stinger weapon, and fierce head sculpt that stays true to his vintage roots. The order page showcases detailed product shots that highlight his articulation and accessories, giving collectors a full preview of what to expect when he drops.

The figure features a yellow and maroon color scheme with black clawed feet and hands, a jagged black chest plate, and a Horde symbol at the center. It comes with several accessories, including an alternate tail that transitions from black to red at the tip, a removable back piece, an extra hand, and a Horde-emblazoned shield. The comic titled “The Sting of Sting-Or” shows him standing triumphantly over Man-At-Arms against a backdrop of Eternos.

The figure is shown in poses highlighting its large red claw, segmented black tail tipped in red, and Horde armor. Its limbs contrast with the black and maroon accents, while the shield and tail add extra visual weight to each stance. Also this comes in collector friendly packaging where you can slip the rear cardback out and replace it in the plastic sleeve.

We saw Sting-Or at display at the SDCC2025 Mattel Booth. His packaging was on display with him! A new character that we saw on the Modulok cardback art is Sting-Or! This is based on concept art by Axel Gimenez and he looks really cool! He has a neat scorpion design with a huge pincher tail!
