Wave 3 of the Super7 GI Joe Ultimates line is starting show up in collector’s hands, and we finally got that Cobra ninja that everyone loves, Storm Shadow for an in hand review! Jam packed with Sunbow inspired accessories, this cartoon accurate version of Storm Shadow is sure to please GI Joe collectors as it pays the perfect homage to his 1980’s animated version! I love the variety of display options you get with Storm Shadow’s bevy of accessories. He even includes the sword Excalibur!


Packaging
Storm Shadow comes in an awesome Ultimates style window box packaging with an outer box sporting a huge Gi Joe logo, blue camo, and a dog tag with Storm Shadow’s name on it. He also includes a cool file card on the back with a Sunbow cartoon image on the back as well!


Storm Shadow is packaged with a gorgeous window display with all his accessories laid out in 2 layers of plastic trays.
Pack Out & Accessories
Storm Shadow comes package in a double layer of plastic, with the top layer holding all his alternate masked head, 4 pairs of additional alternate hands, and alternate right forearm with his armwrap exposing an Arashikage logo on it. It also includes a pair of nun chucks, ninja stars, a knife, and Excalibur sword. Then the second layer has Storm Shadow’s blue rifle, 3 arrows, 2 ninja swords, and his bow.

Figure Details
Super7’s interpretation for this new Wave 3 Storm shadow include both the GI Joe Comic Book #21, Silent Interlude style and Sunbow cartoon style! Storm Shadow comes packed with an alternate arm that sports the Arashikage symbol on his right wrist, unwrapped and partially exposed, an obvious comic inspired look! You can also see his awesome sword sheaths and quiver attached to his back.


This version of Storm Shadow is a simply design to resemble his sleeveless look on the Sunbow cartoon.


I just love the large blue rifle that Storm Shadow comes with! He looks so good posed with it!

As you can see below in GI Joe comic issue #21, Silent Interlude, Storm Shadow after battling Snake Eyes, ends up with right wrist strap falling off, exposing his Arashikage tatoo.
