Super7 Teases GI Joe Ultimates Wave 3!

Storm Shadow Super7 Ultimates was teased by showing an Arashikage symbol on Shadow’s right arm. What’s coming in Wave 3?
Super7’s Sunbow inspired 7″ Ultimate figure line looks like it’s getting another Wave! YO JOE and get ready for Wave 3! Super7 is turning all your favorite characters from the 1980’s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Sunbow cartoon series into Ultimate 7″ figures with amazing articulation and cartoon accurate mega accessories!
Super7 posted an image of Storm Shadow’s right arm to their Instagram page, teasing us with what’s to come in Wave 3 of their Ultimates line!
We can see what is clearly an image of Storm Shadow’s right arm; sporting the Arashikage symbol on his right wrist, in classic Sunbow cartoon style! But what is interesting is that his wrist is unwrapped and partially exposed… hinting that he might have a comic inspired look as well. As you can see below in GI Joe comic issue #21, Silent Interlude, Storm Shadow after battling Snake Eyes, ends up with right wrist strap falling off, exposing his Arashikage tatoo.
Will Super7’s interpretation include both the Silent Interlude style and Sunbow cartoon style of Storm Shadow? And who will join him in Wave 3? In the early days of the Sunbow cartoon series, a classic but not well-known rivalry was between Storm Shadow and Spirit. Will we see Spirit in Wave 3? Snake Eyes was already released in Wave 1, so it’s a possibility!
Let’s recap who appears in Wave 1 & Wave 2 so we can then speculate who will join Storm Shadow in Wave 3.

Who will be in Wave 3? It’s usually 2 Cobras and 2 Joes! Will we get more troop builders? Who will the Joe Team include? Perhaps we might get Spirit, Scarlett, Bazooka or Roadblock? Then on the Cobra side, maybe Firefly, Zartan, Major Bludd, or Cobra Viper?? This is all speculation on our part, but only time will tell. We will update you as soon as Wave 3 drops!
