Huge thanks to retro_toy_escapades (via Ace from Ramen Toy) for posting NYCC 2024 booth images of the Christopher Reeve McFarlane figure from the 1978 Superman the Movie. This 7″ DC Multiverse figure Collector Edition figure went up for preorder on select retailers Thursday, October 17, 2024 and we have the places to preorder him (if he is still in stock) below the booth pics! Taking a closer look head sculpt, McFarlane nailed the likeness of Christopher Reeve, even down to the squiggly hair that runs over his forehead. We can also see the wired cape and how that fits into his collar as the cape looks a lot more fluffy than the official images.

This version of Christopher Reeve looks amazing! They did a spectacular job at the face sculpt! He also comes with a wired cape and multiple alternate hands. One of his hands includes a piece of kryptonite being gripped in the hand! I just love this version of Superman and he came out stunning!
