Target Announces Release Date on Sun-Man!
Target sent out an email with an official release date on the Masters of the Universe Origins Sun-Man and it is coming up very soon!
Sun-Man has been available on Target’s website for some time now for pre-order, but what we didn’t know is, when will Sun-Man be actually released? People have recently been receiving their Mattel Creations Sun-Man exclusives in the mail, and of course, Sun-Man has been available at retail overseas now for some time. But here in the states, he has not yet been released. Well Target sent an email with an official release date of Thursday, April 14th!
Ruler of the Sun Line:
Olmec Toys launched their flagship character Sun-Man in 1985 with the idea that that no matter what your skin-color, you can still be a superhero. With that, the Rulers of the Sun line was born by its founder Yla Eason. Mattel has now partnered with Olmec toys to bring us the entire line of Rulers of the Sun the Master of the Universe Origins line! Below you can see Sun-Man and the rest of the Rulers of the Sun Pig Head, Digitino, Space Sumo and a second versions of Sun-Man with a more stylized head sculpt.
Sun-Man:
The retail release of Sun-Man can be seen below, which is currently part of Wave 8 and has already arrived in some fan’s hands overseas! Mattel Creations has also begun to ship out their Sun-Man exclusive as well. Sun-Man comes with his sun shield, red staff and signature yellow wings! He is wearing red chest armor with a yellow sunburst insignia and red wrist bracers with yellow diamonds. He is also wearing green shorts with a black and green belt and red boots with yellow stars.
