Pop pop pop! Oh my goodness, boy are we thrilled about this one! The Loyal Subjects are bringing back Popples, and I honestly cannot contain my excitement right now. If you grew up in the 80s, you absolutely remember these adorable little furballs that could pop right into their own pouches and back out again for a surprise. They were such a huge part of so many childhoods, and seeing them return in plush form just makes my heart so happy. We’ve got six plushies up for preorder now over at our affiliate partner BigBadToyStore, and the lineup is super exciting. The large 8-inch plush versions include Pancake, Party, and P.C. in blue, each priced at $24.99. Then we’ve got the smaller 6-inch versions featuring P.C. (Blue), Potato Chip in yellow, and Pretty Bit, coming in at $19.99 each. And yes, they all still pop in and out of their pouches! How freakin’ cute is that?! All six are set to ship in July 2026, so you’ve got plenty of time to figure out which ones you need, and let’s be honest, you probably need all of them.

I always loved Popples as a kid, and the fact that The Loyal Subjects is giving this line the love and attention it deserves just warms my collector heart. These little pom-pom tailed cuties were such a unique toy concept back in the day, part plush, part surprise, part marsupial teddy bear magic, and it’s incredible to see them coming back for a whole new generation of fans and collectors alike. So let’s take a look at The Loyal Subjects Popples preorders!

Pancake sits front and center of the trio here, and the sheer variety of color across her blue body, yellow belly, and hot pink mane makes her the natural focal point even surrounded by two equally vibrant plushes. You can see how Party on the right has a softer, more pastel-leaning palette with her pink and lavender tones, while the pink Popple on the left leans harder into neon greens and oranges, giving each one a completely distinct personality through color alone.

Here’s a closer look at all three large Popples in their pouch forms grouped together, and the pink-to-blue-to-pastel pink gradient they create as a trio is genuinely eye-catching. I noticed that each pouch takes on a slightly different shape depending on how the ears and mane settle, with Pancake on the left sitting tallest thanks to that voluminous orange topknot while Party on the right keeps the most compact, rounded profile of the three.

Pretty Bit takes center stage of the trio here, and her lavender fur has a noticeably longer, shaggier pile than the other two, giving her a softer, more textured look that really differentiates her from P.C.’s sleeker blue and Potato Chip’s tighter yellow plush. I like how the pink belly patch on Pretty Bit picks up the same rosy tone as her nose and the inner flaps of those floppy blue ears, tying together her midsection and face with a quiet color thread the other two don’t share.

Here’s a closer look at all three large Popples fully popped out and clustered together, and the sheer range of fur textures across the trio is striking, from P.C.’s smooth, even pile on the left to Pretty Bit’s fluffier, almost cottony pink topknot on the right. Potato Chip in the yellow steals a bit of attention here with that white muzzle and pink nose creating the softest facial contrast of the group, while her lavender butterfly-shaped ear accent adds a dainty finishing touch you don’t get on the other two.

Where to Buy

Popples P.C. (Blue) Large Plush
P.C.’s open mouth with that little red tongue poking out gives her such an eager, happy expression that really captures the playful spirit of the original ’80s design. I like the way the yellow and magenta stripes on her feet mirror the color blocking up top, keeping every angle of this plush interesting even from below.

P.C. fully popped out here, and those orange and yellow heart-shaped ears sit at slightly different angles atop that wild hot pink mane, giving her an endearingly asymmetrical look up top. The yellow beak-like muzzle and matching belly patch tie together nicely against all that sky-blue fur, while the magenta paw pads and wrist accents frame her extremities with just enough contrast to keep your eye moving across the whole plush.

Here’s a closer look at P.C. fully popped out of her pouch, and the hot pink tuft of fur crowning her head contrasts beautifully against all that soft sky-blue plush. I like how the golden-orange patches flanking her cheeks blend into the yellow muzzle, with those mismatched orange and yellow heart-shaped ears adding a playful asymmetry up top.

Covered in soft sky-blue fur, P.C. clocks in at 8 inches tall and has a nice chunky, huggable proportion with magenta paw pads on all four feet that pop against the blue. You can see how the yellow belly patch and matching wrist accents tie into the face coloring, creating a cohesive color story across the whole plush.

Popples Pancake Large Plush
Pancake’s floppy ears are a fun split of blue and pink, each one a different color, and those big blue eyes with their soft peach-toned cheek patches give her face a sweet, slightly dreamy quality. The orange paw pads on her feet contrast sharply with the purple accents peeking out at the ankles, and that teal heart detail on each arm adds one more unexpected color hit to an already wild palette.

Fully popped out at 8 inches, Pancake has a wonderfully round, marsupial-like body where the lime-green belly patch acts as the visual anchor, pulling together all those competing neon tones into something that somehow works. Priced at $24.99 with a July 2026 ship date from BigBadToyStore, she’s the most color-chaotic of the three large plushes and honestly the most fun to just sit and look at because every angle reveals another unexpected color combination.

Pancake is tucked into her pouch here, and that golden-orange mane spilling out the top against all that hot pink fur creates such a fun burst of color. You can see how her mismatched blue and pink ears splay out to each side, with the embroidered character badge sitting neatly on the rounded body of the pouch.

Popples Party Large Plush
The small Party measures 6 inches and carries the same sky-blue and yellow color combination as her larger counterpart, but the compressed proportions give her an even rounder, more compact feel that’s almost spherical. Priced at $19.99 with a July 2026 ship date from BigBadToyStore, she’s a great companion piece to the 8-inch version and those stubby little paw pads take up noticeably more real estate relative to the body at this size.

Party’s pouch form has a noticeably smoother, more uniform silhouette compared to the other two, with the sky-blue fur sitting tight and round while that hot pink mane spills forward just enough to frame her face without overwhelming the shape. I noticed that her embroidered character badge sits slightly lower on the body here, nestled into the plushest part of the fur where the pouch is at its widest.

Popples P.C. (Blue) Small Plush
The small version of P.C. clocks in at 6 inches, and you can see how the proportions shift compared to the larger release, with the head taking up even more of the overall body and those green eyes feeling extra prominent at this scale. I think it’s neat that the fur texture still has that same plush density throughout, with the bright neon color palette losing none of its punch in the smaller format.

The small P.C. looks great tucked into her pouch here, and what I’m noticing is how the hot pink hair tuft fans out more loosely at this size, giving it an almost wispy, bedhead quality. Priced at $19.99 with a July 2026 ship date from BigBadToyStore, she’s an easy pickup alongside the 8-inch version if you want both scales on your shelf.

Fully popped out at 6 inches, the small P.C. has a wonderfully pudgy, almost egg-shaped silhouette where the magenta paw pads on her stubby little feet really stand out against the bright blue. I’m really digging how the yellow muzzle flares out into those fluffy cheek tufts, framing that cheerful red nose and open smile in a way that makes the smaller version feel just as expressive as her bigger counterpart.

Popples Potato Chip (Yellow) Small Plush
Potato Chip’s large 8-inch version shows off her tail here, and the hot pink pom-pom tip transitions through a gradient of yellow-to-magenta fur along its length, creating a color fade you don’t really notice until you see it up close. Priced at $19.99 for the small and $24.99 for the large with a July 2026 ship date from BigBadToyStore, the lavender paw pad accents on her feet add a cool, unexpected complement to all that warm yellow and pink.

Potato Chip’s small 6-inch version looks adorable in her pouch form here, with that coral-pink mane fanning out loosely above her face while the bright yellow fur of the pouch body catches every bit of warmth in the room. I’m really liking the way her turquoise eyes and hot pink nose pop against that white muzzle, with those fluffy pink cheek tufts softening the transition between the face and the surrounding yellow.

Popples Pretty Bit Small Plush
Pretty’s lavender fur has a rich, almost pastel-violet warmth to it that photographs differently depending on the light. Priced at $19.99 with a July 2026 ship date from BigBadToyStore, the creamy peach belly patch adds a soft neutral break right in the center that keeps all that surrounding pink, blue, and lavender from competing with each other.

Pretty Bit’s fully popped-out 6-inch form shows off her tail here, with the hot pink and pink pom-pom tip dangling out to the side on a thin cord, adding a playful little flourish that swings freely when you move her around. You can see how the light blue heart accents are scattered across her lavender body, one on each paw and foot, creating a cool-toned pattern that keeps the warmer pinks from dominating the overall color scheme.

Pretty Bit’s fully popped-out 6-inch form reveals a wonderfully round lavender body with a pink muzzle that blends into those creamy white cheek tufts, and the purple heart-shaped nose is a small but charming detail that ties into the deeper violet tones on her belly. I like how the mismatched floppy ears, one pale pink and one light blue, each have a different fabric weight to them, with the blue one sitting slightly stiffer and more upright while the pink drapes lower and softer.
