Evil-Lyn Masterverse Vintage Collection In-Hand Images
Hot off the press, and this time the intel is coming from an unexpected corner of the globe. Massive thanks to Retro Toy Escapades for sharing in-hand images of the Masterverse Vintage Collection Evil-Lyn, which has just turned up at retail in Malaysia, making it the first-ever Vintage Collection figure to surface on the pegs there. This is a pretty cool milestone for the line’s international reach, and the timing is remarkable considering it was only a couple of days ago that we got our first look at the official images of this figure. Going from official reveal to in-box sighting that quickly is the kind of thing that keeps collectors refreshing their feeds, and what makes these particular photos so valuable is that we finally get a clear shot of the artwork on the back of the box, which is always one of those details that packaging fans and vintage purists love to study closely. Evil-Lyn looks sharp in that classic Vintage Collection presentation, and the card art on the back adds a layer of appreciation for how Mattel is handling the aesthetic of this sub-line. For those of us who have been tracking this one since she was first confirmed, seeing her show up in the wild this early is a welcome surprise, even if it is halfway around the world. We fully expect her to go up for preorder during the Walmart Collector Con July 2026 edition, so collectors stateside should keep their eyes locked on that event as the likely window to secure one. Until then, feast your eyes on these in-hand shots and that glorious back-of-box art, because this is shaping up to be another strong entry in the Vintage Collection lineup.
In-Box Images
The box features a bold, cosmic design with swirling reds, blues, and purples radiating outward, framing a trapezoid-shaped window that shows Evil-Lyn and her globe-topped staff nestled in the tray. The artwork has a nice retro energy to it, leaning hard into that classic MOTU aesthetic.

The back of the box features vibrant vintage-style artwork of Evil-Lyn conjuring a vision of He-Man battling a creature, with an orange sunset landscape filling out the scene, which is a great nod to Errol McCarthy! Photo callouts below show the figure holding the orb on its own and with a full staff with a flame effect, giving a nice preview of the accessory options.

Evil-Lyn’s head sculpt is sharp up close, with narrow purple eyes, bold brows, and a subtle sneer on her lips. The headdress features a small skull at its center with radiating blade-like spines fanning out behind it, and the metallic finish on those elements has a nice sheen to it.

The close-up really lets the sculpted details on Evil-Lyn’s staff come through. The orb has a smooth rounded finish with faint segmented panel lines running across the surface, while the darker metallic framing around it has layered, claw-like ridges that wrap upward toward the sphere. I like how the handle narrows into stacked ring sections before extending into the lower shaft, giving the whole piece a ceremonial staff look instead of just a simple weapon accessory. The metallic blue paint also catches nicely against the softer blue orb, helping the different sculpted sections stand apart even through the packaging bubble.

Evil-Lyn’s armor has ornate scroll-work sculpted into the chest piece and a leaf-shaped medallion at the waist, with matching studded details running along the belt. A long cape drapes behind her, with sculpted embellishments along its lower edge.

The packaging features an explosive burst of purple, magenta, and blue energy radiating outward, with rocky debris scattered across the illustrated backdrop. Evil-Lyn’s crystal-windowed box gives a clear look at the figure inside alongside her orb-topped staff.

Figure Details
With some fresh sleuthing, we now have solid confirmation that Evil Lyn is officially headed to the Masterverse Vintage Collection, and I have to say, I am fired up about this one because the details are pretty amazing. As we reported back in September 2024, an anonymous source reported that a vintage inspired Evil Lyn was deep into development for this subline and it’s been radio silent since then as we’ve looking for clues ever since. Sometimes we get early information that does not materialize for months or even years in this case but what really gets me excited is imagining how she is going to look in that retro influenced packaging style that instantly taps into that Classics era vibe, complete with throwback illustrated card art that is inspired by Errol McCarthy. As we reported well over a year ago, this Evil-Lyn is reported to come with yellow skin but we are not sure now that we have seen what she is packed with. Nonetheless, with concrete details now surfacing about her design direction, this makes me feel like the Masterverse Vintage Collection is starting to shape up into something genuinely special for long time fans and newcomers who love that vintage soul paired with modern look of the line.
To make things even sweeter, the figure details we’ve uncovered paint a really exciting picture of how this Masterverse Vintage Collection version of Evil Lyn is shaping up. She’s built on a fully articulated body with 30 points of movement and she’ll come equipped with a dramatic cape that adds a ton of presence when displayed. Even better, she also comes with her signature staff and features three different interchangeable heads that include a fire effect piece and a metallic orb option, giving collectors multiple looks and display styles right out of the box. We’ve seen quite a few head sculpts for

Here is the description for and although it says Teela, it is definately written out for Evil-Lyn as it is a typo.
