Walmart is back at it again with their latest tease for October 2025 Collector Con (or as many collectors have jokingly dubbed it, “Cancel Con”), and this one looks like it could pack quite a punch! Kicking off at 7am PT on October 9 and running through October 10, the event already has some big-ticket reveals in the pipeline. From the image tease alone, we get confirmation of an over-the-top WWE x Street Fighter crossover with The Rock stepping into the shoes of none other than M. Bison, plus some exclusive Pokémon cards that will be hitting preorder status during the event. On top of that, we’re fully expecting the much-anticipated G.I. Joe Classified Series Ghost Viper and D.I.R.E. 2-Pack to go live as well, making this a can’t-miss opportunity for Joe fans. And while Walmart is only scratching the surface with these early reveals, you can bet there’s a whole lot more to look forward to once the virtual event gets rolling. Of course, the lingering question with every Collector Con remains whether your preorders will actually arrive without a hitch—but that’s a saga most collectors know all too well! Samurai He-Man MOTU Origins 200x Deluxe Figure

As we get closer to Walmart Collector Con 2025, things are starting to heat up as early listings are surfacing online, giving us a peek behind the curtain before the official reveals drop. What’s really interesting this time around is that some of these figures are showing up under code names, but the details in the listings are spilling the beans! One that immediately jumped out to me was the listing for ORIGINSDELUXEDEVIATE, which appears in Walmart’s Collector Con page and plain as day in the “About this item” section as none other than an ORIGINS DELUXE SAMURAI HE-MAN! Seeing these types of figures pop up early in the system is always an adrenaline rush because it not only confirms that Mattel is pushing deep into the variant and themed side of the MOTU Origins line, but it also sets the stage for some truly wild reveals during Collector Con. We were not expecting this and with Samurai He-Man being called out directly, it leaves me wondering what else might be lurking behind these coded entries. If one figure like this has already surfaced, chances are we’re in for a flurry of exciting discoveries as the event gets closer, and I can’t wait to see what other surprises Walmart and Mattel have up their sleeves!

Samurai He-Man is a distinctive variant from the Masters of the Universe 200x toy line, introduced by Mattel as part of the “Samurai Wars” sub-line, which reimagined core characters in stylized Eastern-inspired armor. This figure stands out with elaborate samurai-themed silver and blue armor, accented by red and gold highlights and an ornate, crested helmet that suggests both traditional samurai aesthetics and the high-tech fantasy of Eternia. The chest features a prominent red emblem while layered armor pieces on the shoulders, shins, and gauntlets add a heavily armored appearance. Uniquely, Samurai He-Man is equipped with a large, mechanical weapon arm and an orange, drill-like projectile accessory. His legs are encased in robotic, silver-plated armor that resembles exoskeletal enhancements, further reinforcing the the focus on cybernetic augmentation and futuristic combat. This version of He-Man diverges from the more barbaric look of the classic figure, showcasing the 200x line’s willingness to reinterpret iconic characters.
