Bow
The packaging for Bow in the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection presents the character in a nostalgic and vibrant display inspired by his animated appearance from She-Ra: Princess of Power. Bow showcased prominently in a clear blister bubble and the figure comes equipped with his signature golden bow and features bright, bold colors with a red heart emblem at the center of his chest. On the back of the packaging, Bow is shown in posed shots with his accessories, alongside cross-sell images of Whiplash and Shadow Weaver, completing the Wave 26 assortment.

The card art for Bow in the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection recreates a heroic scene from the She-Ra: Princess of Power episode “Bow’s Magical Gift.” Positioned in the foreground, Bow is depicted mid-action, drawing his golden bow with a determined expression as he takes aim at Shadow Weaver, who is conjuring a spell alongside Grizzlor in the background. The lush forest setting and dynamic poses add cinematic energy to the illustration, while Glimmer appears behind Bow.

Glimmer Concept
Thanks to the incredibly talented Eternal Customs on Facebook, this image shows a concept figure of Glimmer, the heroic daughter of Queen Angella from She-Ra: Princess of Power. The figure is styled in a Filmation-inspired design, featuring a purple and blue color scheme true to her animated appearance.

She has pink hair with a small tiara-like jewel on her forehead, a lavender and violet bodysuit accented with bright blue shoulder guards, belt, and chest jewel. Her gloves and boots are also rendered in a matching violet tone, and her overall appearance aligns with the aesthetics of the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection, suggesting she could be a strong candidate for a future release in the line. In fact, we had heard from anonymous sources that Glimmer was coming to the Cartoon Collection so we are hoping her plastic release soon!

Glimmer
Glimmer is the Princess of Bright Moon, the very beautiful daughter of Queen Angella and King Micah. She was the original leader of the Great Rebellion of Etheria until Adora took over and helped to establish much of its support structure. One of the main characters when you think of the Great Rebellion, Glimmer has been made into action figure twice thus far, once for the vintage Princess of Power line of the 1980’s and next in the MOTU Classics line in the mid 2000’s. Let’s take a closer look below.

Shadow Weaver
Shadow Weaver is displayed holding the Eldritch Book of Spells and her magical wand, with the multicolored “CARTOON COLLECTION” logo front and center beneath the bubble. The back of the card highlights her episode debut from She-Ra: Princess of Power—“The Eldritch Mist”—and showcases the full Wave 26 lineup alongside beautifully illustrated card art.

The card art for Shadow Weaver in the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection captures a dramatic and mystical moment inspired by the She-Ra: Princess of Power episode “The Eldritch Mist.” Shadow Weaver is illustrated casting a powerful spell, her arms raised as magical energy swirls around her, with the Eldritch Book of Spells floating in front of her. She’s cloaked in a deep magenta shroud with glowing yellow eyes that pierce through the mist, creating an aura of dark sorcery. In the background, nestled among fluffy pink foliage, we catch a glimpse of Prince Adam, Kowl, Castaspella, and Adora cautiously watching from the shadows—an exciting tease that hints at potential future releases in the Cartoon Collection line.

This image shows a classic scene from the She-Ra: Princess of Power animated series, featuring Prince Adam, Adora, Castaspella, and Kowl peering cautiously through vibrant pink foliage. The characters are drawn in their iconic Filmation styles, with Adam in his signature magenta vest, Adora in red and white, and Castaspella with her voluminous red hair and blue-gold outfit. Kowl hovers above in midair, his wings outstretched and expression alert. Notably, this exact grouping and composition has been faithfully recreated by artist fetch.franciscoetchart for the card art on Shadow Weaver’s MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection figure, capturing the essence of the original animation with impressive accuracy and nostalgia.

Adora
We also heard from anonymous sources that Adora was coming to the Cartoon Collection line! The talented Kenzo’s Creations created a stunning Cartoon Collection Adora concept, which you can see below!
Kenzo knocked this concept custom Adora out of the park! He created this beauty using using the MOTU Origins Sorceress buck, some Apoxie sculpt, Paint, and a 3D printed head by @sirihitti.

He did an amazing job paying homage to her cartoon appearance and he painted the 3D printed head to perfection!

Adora
Adora was the main protagonist in the 1980’s She-Ra: Princess of Power cartoon. She was originally a member of the evil Horde, being raised by the villainous Hordak as his own daughter. However, she eventually learns the truth of her origins and the Horde’s evil nature, leading her to rebel against them and join the resistance.

Adora is portrayed as a strong, brave, and compassionate character who fights for justice and equality. She is known for her iconic catchphrase, “For the honor of Grayskull!”, which she shouts before transforming into She-Ra. Adora’s character has remained a beloved figure in popular culture, inspiring generations of fans with her courage and determination.

Castaspella
This image presents Castaspella in her classic Filmation style from She‑Ra: Princess of Power, seated regally on a golden throne and draped in her signature blue-and-gold sorceress gown, with voluminous red hair framing a poised, graceful expression. In the original series, Castaspella is the Queen of Mystacor, a powerful mage and ally of the Great Rebellion who once trained alongside Shadow Weaver under the sorcerer Norwyn before their paths diverged. A gifted practitioner of precognition, astral projection, and hypnotic spells, she channels her magic through ornate golden armbands. Known for her warmth, playful sense of humor, and occasional knack for knitting, Castaspella also serves as a protective force over her kingdom and her niece Glimmer, standing firmly against the evil forces threatening Etheria.

This concept image of Castaspella presents a highly detailed digital sculpt of how she would likely appear in the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection line. Faithful to her Filmation design, the figure features her striking red hair styled in voluminous curls, along with her signature blue and yellow outfit. Her bodice includes a bold lightning bolt motif outlined in orange, while her yellow flared skirt and tall yellow boots continue the color scheme with additional lightning accents. She also wears yellow bracers with sculpted detailing, and her high collar and black gem centerpiece complete the iconic look. The stylized proportions and animated paint style are consistent with other figures in the Cartoon Collection, making this an exciting and accurate representation of how Castaspella could appear in the line.

Kowl
This image shows Kowl, the wise and often sarcastic flying creature from She-Ra: Princess of Power, in mid-air against a colorful, swirling background. Kowl is depicted with his signature reddish-orange fur, large expressive eyes, and a white chest. His oversized yellow and pink wings are spread wide as he glides, and his purple beak adds a splash of contrast to his vibrant design. As a loyal companion to the Rebellion, Kowl is known for his sharp wit, encyclopedic knowledge, and unwavering support for She-Ra and her allies. This animation still captures his lively and whimsical personality perfectly.
Whiplash
The packaging for Whiplash in the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection delivers a bold and animated aesthetic true to his Filmation appearance. His bright green skin, deep blue accents, and purple trunks reflect his cartoon color scheme, while his signature rocket launcher accessory is clearly visible beside him. On the back, the figure is showcased in multiple poses, including a close-up holding his launcher and an action stance highlighting his tail-thrashing feature. The cross-sell includes Bow and Shadow Weaver to complete Wave 26, and the layout celebrates the animated legacy of the vintage line.

The card art for Whiplash in the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection is a dynamic recreation of the scene from the Masters of the Universe episode “The Betrayal of Stratos.” Set deep within a rocky, serpentine cavern, Whiplash is shown firing a blast from his rocket launcher with a menacing expression, capturing his animated look in vivid detail. The explosive energy illuminates the scene as He-Man braces to defend himself alongside Delora and Stratos, who appear ready for battle. The swirling purple cave walls and the coiled tendrils in the background add a dramatic sense of depth and danger, perfectly framing this high-stakes showdown between heroes and villain.

Delora Filmation History
Delora is a character created for the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon, portrayed as Stratos’ sister rather than his wife (as depicted in other lore).

If you are not familiar with Delora, she is an Avionian Birdwoman, whose mind is blinded with greed when Skeletor promises her riches. In the Filmation cartoon, she sabotages Avion’s defenses, manages to banish Stratos from Avion, and allows Skeletor to steal the Egg of Avion. Hawke’s reward, much to her disliking, is that she is imprisoned in a bird cage by Whiplash. Probably not the outcome she expected but she later atones for her crime by helping reclaim the Egg of Avion. She was not produced in the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe line in 1980’s but she was made into a figure for the Masters of the Universe Classics line.
