We take a detailed look and review Zartan from the GI Joe Super7 ReAction line!
Super7 is continuing to knock it out of the park with their GI Joe ReAction line and the latest Zartan figure is no exception! If you have not starting collecting the GI Joe ReAction line, we highly recommend it! First, they are doing an amazing job with the packaging and card art, something that Hasbro could take note of for their seemingly fledgling o-ring line. Second, the figure selection is amazing and we finally get to take a look at one of the more anticipated figures in the line! Before we delve into the review and photos, we wanted to send a special thanks to Entertainment Earth for providing this Zartan Super7 ReAction figure for our review.
Packaging
Like we alluded to earlier, Zartan’s packaging is outstanding! The card stock is very thick and sturdy so you won’t have to worry about it bending. Since this figure was never a carded figure in the vintage line, it’s great to see a single carded version and Super7 is just the company to make this come to life!

File Card
The cool thing about Super7’s ReAction GI Joe line is that you get a full file card, just like the good ‘ole days! The information on the file card is just like the vintage Zartan and reads:
Zartan can alter his skin color at will to blend in with his environment. He is also a master of make-up and disguise, a ventriloquist, a linguist (over 20 languages and dialects), an acrobatic-contortionist and a practitioner of several mystic martial arts. Very little is known of his background and origins, but most security agencies agree that he must have had European military academy training (probably St. Cyr).
Psychological Profile: Extreme paranoid schizophrenic. Grows into various multiple personalities to such an extent that the original personality becomes buried and forgotten.

Figure
The figure is decked out in the classic the blue, black, and brown motif that we all grew up with and saw in the GI Joe cartoon! Since the Super7 line is Sunbow inspired, Zartan has a blue chest plate, which looks exactly like the cartoon! His hood is a nice deep brown to match his pants and his face sculpt and paint also mirrors that of the cartoon!

This is a pretty much no frills figure from a design standpoint but it gets the job done! You can see the sculpting detail on his shoulder armor and also get a better look at his black gloves. The is a knife and sheath that is sculpted into his right boot, which makes it different than his left boot.

Weapons and Accessories
Zartan comes packed with his classic backpack that holds his mask. He also comes with a Sunbow inspired blaster.

Geared Up
Zartan looks great holding his weapons and it really plays into the nostalgia vibe seeing his backpack on his back ready to cause some Dreadnok mayhem.

From the side, you can see how the peg from the backpack fits into the back of the Zartan and although there is some clearance, it is a nice fit and looks fantastic overall!
