52TOYS is bringing a new look to the iconic Xenomorph from the original 1979 Alien film with its Lightning Dance Series Xenomorph Special Edition 1/12 Scale Action Figure. Created in collaboration with artist Yoshi, this release features a striking metallic green and blue finish that gives the familiar creature design a completely different appearance. I am absolutely thrilled about this one! Alien is my favorite franchise, and while I don’t own anything from 52TOYS yet, this figure has me excited to finally add one to my collection. The metallic coloring looks fantastic, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it in person. The figure is now available for preorder at BigBadToyStore for $72.99, with an estimated arrival in December 2026.

Figure Details

The Lightning Dance Series Xenomorph retains the recognizable design elements of H.R. Giger’s Alien, including its elongated dome-shaped head, exposed biomechanical structures, ribbed torso, and long segmented tail. However, the Special Edition replaces the creature’s traditional dark appearance with a metallic finish that shifts between cool green and blue tones.

The figure measures approximately 7.09 inches (18 cm) tall and is constructed from PVC, ABS, and POM. With 30 points of articulation, collectors can display the Xenomorph in a variety of crouching, standing, and reaching positions.

The included accessories consist of four interchangeable hands, an interchangeable upper jaw, and a figure stand. The interchangeable jaw provides another display option for the creature’s distinctive mouth.
