We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and now Mattel has pulled back the curtain on another Combat Ready figure from the upcoming Masters of the Universe live-action movie, this time giving us our first official look at Roboto in all his mechanical glory. This 5.5-inch posable action figure joins the growing Combat Ready lineup alongside figures like Cannon Transform Trap Jaw, Power Sword Slash He-Man, and Havoc Staff Attack Skeletor, all sharing that same $17.00 price point that makes them accessible for collectors and younger fans alike. What I love about this wave is how each figure leans into a unique action feature, and Roboto is no exception with his twist-and-release quick draw battle action and signature Blaster accessory, which feels like exactly the kind of play-driven design that defined the original MOTU toyline back in the 80s while being firmly rooted in the new movie’s aesthetic. The figure hasn’t officially gone up for preorder just yet, but Mattel has already placed a placeholder listing on their Mattel Creations hub, so it’s worth bookmarking that page and keeping it on your radar because once it goes live it will launch alongside the rest of the movie figures on April 25, 2026. Seeing Roboto make it into the movie toy lineup is a great sign for the depth of the roster they’re pulling from, and I’m genuinely curious to see how the character translates on screen because he’s always been one of those Heroic Warriors who deserved more spotlight than he typically got. Can’t wait to see what else surfaces as we get closer to launch.

Masters of the Universe Combat Ready Roboto Action Figure
Roboto is covered in blue and silver armor plating, with a translucent chest panel that shows sculpted mechanical internals underneath. One arm ends in a large blue blaster accessory with black barrel tips, while the other features a translucent grasping claw, and his small head sits recessed into the shoulders with a black visor and red lower face plate.

The sculpt on the legs shows segmented blue armor with silver accents at the knee joints and gray mechanical detailing at the ankles. His feet feature a pointed, fin-like design with a metallic blue finish that catches the light nicely.

A hand demonstrates the twist-and-release quick draw action feature, with a red arrow indicating the rotational motion that swings Roboto’s blaster arm into position. The motion blur overlay gives a good sense of how the torso snaps during the action gimmick, which fits right in with the other movie figures’ play features.

Covered in that same deep blue armor, this rear view shows the panel lines and segmented plating running down Roboto’s back, with gray mechanical joints exposed at the shoulders and elbows. The translucent chest piece wraps around to the sides, and you can make out the internal gear sculpting even from behind.

The oversized blaster accessory has a segmented, shield-like forearm housing with alternating blue panels and lighter blue highlights, giving it a nice layered look. I like the way the proportions lean into that chunky, heavy-duty mech feel, with the broader arm counterbalancing the smaller clawed hand on the opposite side.

The head sculpt is compact and sits deep within the shoulder armor, with a glossy black visor flanked by two small square sensor modules on top. At 5.5 inches, Roboto’s proportions feel appropriately stocky for a mechanized character, and the mix of matte blue plastic and translucent sections adds some nice material variety across the figure.
