Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 + Mystery Figures Spotted at SDCC 2026

SDCC 2026 gave us the chance to get up close with some figures we’ve been eager to see in person, and thanks to the Toy Tubers Unite party hosted by Geek Dad Life, we got a front and center look at the Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 lineup from Hatter Toys. We first covered this wave when the Wave 2 Kickstarter page went live (launch is still TBD), and seeing these figures on display really drove home how much fun Hatter Toys is having with this line. The wave includes Toss-R, Hound of Tarjayy, and Cash Grab Flip-Or, and each one carries that same irreverent, self-aware energy that made the first wave such a hit with collectors who appreciate clever satire baked into each figure. What really caught our attention, though, were some mystery figures tucked into the display that Hatter Toys clearly wanted people to notice without giving too much away, and while nothing has been officially confirmed yet about what those figures represent, the implications are exciting because it looks like there’s a lot more cooking behind the scenes. The whole presentation had that grassroots collector energy where you could tell every figure in the lineup was made by someone who genuinely lives in this hobby and understands what makes it tick, and the fact that Hatter Toys continues to expand the Nefarity universe with new characters and concepts suggests the line has legs well beyond what we’ve seen so far. We’ll be keeping a close eye on whatever those mystery figures turn out to be, so stay tuned as more details surface.

Display From Toy Tubers Unite Party 2026

Hatter Toys has the full Flip Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 lineup on display, with Toss-R, Hound of Tarjayy, and Cash Grab Flip-Or joined by several unpainted mystery figures still waiting to be officially named. The range of designs across the wave is wild, from the heavily armored medieval builds to the tentacle-loaded Cash Grab Flip-Or at the center, all surrounded by their companion creatures and accessories.

Cash Grab Flip-Or takes center stage with a green vest and matching helmet, both finished in a rich metallic green, paired with a white bow tie and gold belt details. Four massive segmented tentacle arms extend outward from a gold backpack unit, each one ending in a different attachment, including his patented flipping arm.

Savage Patch Kid, a tiny Cash Grab Flip-Or, and Shreddy Ruxpin are laid out here as miniature companion pieces, first shown as digital renders at the Flip-Or panel. Savage Patch Kid has a baby head with orange hair and red eyes on a spider-like body bristling with knives, while Shreddy Ruxpin is a small bear in a maroon shirt with armored shoulder pads and a helmet, perfect little additions to drop into a dio scene.

The Hound of Tarjayy is loaded with detail, from the red symbols on his shoulder and belt to the studded leather straps, chain links draped across his torso, and a large red shields that is a busted up shopping cart. Behind him, one of the mystery figures peeks out, a helmeted gray warrior with a flat-topped bucket helm and a red cape, still unnamed and waiting for an official reveal.

Three alternate heads for the Hound of Tarjayy sit alongside the ball and chain accessory, each sculpted with a distinct wolf-like expression, from snarling with an open jaw to a calmer, closed-mouth look. The ball and chain features a heavily textured sphere connected by metal chain links, and a tiny microfigure stands between the accessories for a nice sense of scale.

Toss-R’s unpainted prototype shows off his skull-faced head sculpt wearing a delivery cap, with a satchel strap across his chest and a reverse hammer gripped tight, ready to crush packages. He’s perched on a rocky base with a battered mailbox sculpted into it, and beside him sits a squat, angry-looking cat companion mounted on a small platform with an axe arm, both pieces packed with character even in raw gray resin.

Toss-R’s alternate head swaps the delivery cap for a flat-topped skull with a wide, toothy grin and deep-set eye sockets, all in unpainted resin that lets the sculpted bone texture come through cleanly. The microfigure beside it is tiny but well-defined, with an orange torso, green accents on the limbs, and a green head, standing just a fraction of the height of the skull.

Cat-cha’s metallic green head has a dollar sign stamped on the forehead, a small pink tongue poking out, and a red gem-shaped nose, all sitting on a gold collar with riveted detailing and a mesh-textured midsection. The gold segmented tube arms end in chunky fists, and beside it sits a matching miniature head with the same dollar sign and a tiny bearded face peeking out from under the brim.

Flip-Or himself wears a gray hooded tunic with a circular emblem on the chest, a gold belt with sculpted detailing, and a massive segmented gold gauntlet on one arm. Several unpainted prototypes flank him on both sides, giving a sense of his scale relative to the rest of the wave.

Mystery Figures

As Led Zeppelin sang in “Kashmir,” “all will be revealed.” Until then, these mystery figures are looking incredible, and we can’t wait to learn more.

Mystery Figure 1

The mystery figure’s round shield is covered in sculpted battle damage, with deep slash marks, puncture holes, and gouges scattered across its surface. His flat-topped bucket helm has a narrow rectangular visor slot with a face partially sculpted underneath, and the chest armor features rivet details along the seams with curved shoulder guards that flare outward.

The mystery figure’s belt has a heavily sculpted buckle and pouches with textured strapping, and the armor plating on his thighs wraps around with visible panel lines and segmented knee guards. A spear with a broad, leaf-shaped blade sits alongside him, adding another weapon to his medieval kit.

Mystery Figure 2

One of the mystery figures on display bears a strong resemblance to Cat-cha, with a squat, rounded body shaped like a cat head, pointed ears, narrow angry eyes, and a stitched mouth sculpted into the front. Segmented tube arms extend from each side, one ending in a fist and the other gripping an axe, while a keyboard and additional mechanical limbs fold out from the boxy base, making this one we’re really curious to learn more about.

Mystery Figure 3

The first female character in the Flip Or and the Champions of Nefarity lineup, this unpainted white prototype has a sculpted bun hairstyle, fitted bodysuit, and knee-high boots, with a large arc of organic, bulbous shapes extending from both hands like a ring of energy or magical force. The proportions and sculpted details make this the most intriguing piece in the entire display.

Flip Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 is looking amazing, with a mix of fully painted production pieces and unpainted prototypes spread across the display giving a good sense of where each sculpt is heading. The variety across the wave is impressive, from the ornate tentacle-armed centerpiece to the medieval warriors and the wild little companion creatures scattered throughout.
