Gullwing 2 Giftset Makina Ramen Toy Preorder
We got a good look at Makina’s lineup during Ramen Toy’s JoeFest 2026 booth, and the Red Gullwing was already turning heads in its original form, but this 2.0 Giftset takes the concept and pushes it considerably further with new tooling, additional figures, and a feature set that reads like a wish list. The Red Gullwing 2.0 Giftset (ITEM #MKN06) is a 22cm die-cast vehicle that builds on the original with upgraded seats, redesigned thrusters, and extendable wingtip laser canons, all wrapped in a tempo printed finish that gives it a polished, premium look. What makes this a proper giftset and not just a vehicle reissue is the inclusion of Boy & Bot figures alongside Mads Hawking in a business suit, which immediately adds display and storytelling value beyond the vehicle itself. The feature list on the Gullwing 2.0 is dense in the best way: gull-wing doors that actually open, a convertible boot that reveals the thruster array, bomb bays with drop bombs, realistic treads paired with chrome-plated rims, adjustable seats with elastic seatbelts, a detailed dashboard, and head and tail lights using clear and colored parts. A display stand rounds out the package. It’s a lot of vehicle for the money, and the die-cast construction gives it the kind of shelf weight that collectors in this scale really appreciate. Ramen Toy has this up for preorder now at $140.00 USD with shipping expected in Q2 2027, and you can lock in your order directly through the Ramen Toy product page. Between the new tooling, the included figures, and that die-cast heft, this giftset feels like Makina delivering on the full potential of the Gullwing design.

RED GULLWING 2.0 GIFTSET
The set comes with a display stand has a flat base with a pair of mounted thruster-style supports that cradle the vehicle from beneath. Scattered in the foreground are the drop bombs and several blast effect pieces in various sizes, shaped like elongated flame bursts, new Tooling Boy & Bot figures & Mads Hawking with business suit, also with new tooling.

The Red Gullwing 2.0 Giftset features the classic Camero with gull-wing doors swung open, revealing an interior cockpit, while the convertible boot section at the rear has deployed to expose twin thrusters and wingtip laser canons. Three figures are included: Mads Hawking in a blue business suit with a brown tie, the white and grey Bot, and the smaller Boy figure in a teal shirt and dark pants.

The promotional layout shows the Red Gullwing 2.0 from the front quarter, with its hood stripes and headlight cluster clearly defined. Inset photos at the bottom show Mads Hawking and Boy seated inside the cockpit with seatbelts strapped across them.

The inset detail shots highlight the sculpted dashboard with a steering wheel and a monitor screen displaying a character graphic, along with a center console packed with sculpted buttons and a second screen. That interior work is impressive for a vehicle at this scale.

The image highlights the new canons and thrusters included in the giftset, with the canons featuring elongated barrel tips and attached blast effects, while the thrusters mount into the rear boot section with cone-shaped exhaust effects plugged in. The chrome-plated rims and realistic tire treads on the wheels are a nice touch up close.

The Bot is shown from multiple angles across the promotional layout, with its smooth domed head, blue visor band, and red-accented sensor eyes clearly defined on the squat white and grey body. Small inset shots on the side show the full figure from the front and rear, along with a close-up of the circular dish antenna that mounts on top of the dome.

Five configurations of Boy and Bot are shown across this promotional layout, with Bot transforming from a compact spherical motorcycle mode into an upright bipedal robot form. Boy wears a teal shirt with orange collar trim and dark pants, and his short auburn hair has a clean, simple sculpt that fits the cartoon-inspired aesthetic of the set.
