In brightest day, in blackest night, no Super Powers fan shall be without new figures to collect! McFarlane Toys has just revealed the final wave of their DC Super Powers line, and preorders go live on September 3rd exclusively at Entertainment Earth. This last wave brings us The Flash in his Silver Age look, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Girl, Deathstroke, Superman in his JSA costume, and a metallic Cyborg. Six figures to close out a line that has been so much fun for fans of the classic Kenner era. I love how we’re getting Wonder Girl in this wave, she’s a really cool deep cut pick and a welcome addition to the Teen Titans corner of the lineup. The JSA Superman is super exciting too, giving us a version of the character we don’t see in plastic very often. It’s bittersweet knowing this is the final wave, and there are definitely characters we all wish could have made the cut, but what a ride this line has been. So let’s take a look at the McFarlane Super Powers last wave. Be sure to come back to Toyhabits.com on September 3rd for the preorder link and official images!

Here’s a look at the full lineup for this final Super Powers wave, and it’s a nice spread of classic DC heroes and one villain. Superman takes center stage with his light blue suit, red cape, and that iconic chest emblem, and the JSA-inspired look keeps things firmly rooted in that vintage aesthetic. Alongside him, you’ve got The Flash in deep red and gold, Martian Manhunter in green with his red crossed harness and blue cape, and Deathstroke rocking a blue and orange color scheme with his signature eyepatch, rounding out a wave that leans heavily into that nostalgic Kenner-era charm.

Cyborg

Cyborg’s metallic silver armor has a great chunky, retro-inspired sculpt with layered plating on the forearms, thighs, and shins that really sells that classic Super Powers aesthetic. His exposed skin tones on the upper arms and legs contrast nicely against all that silver, and the red cybernetic eye is a small but effective detail on an otherwise clean headsculpt.

Wonder Girl

Wonder Girl’s red bodysuit is covered in white star detailing that runs from the chest down through the legs, and the gold “W” belt buckle ties everything together with a nice retro flair. I like how the silver bracelets and dark navy boots break up all that red, and her black hair and pink lipstick give the headsculpt a classic Donna Troy look.

JSA Superman

Superman’s headsculpt has a great vintage quality to it, with a strong, square jaw, that signature black spit curl, and a slightly furrowed brow that nails the classic Kenner-era look. The red cape drapes nicely over his shoulders with a high collar, and the yellow belt buckle adds a clean separation between the blue top and red trunks.

Unmasked Deathstroke

Deathstroke’s headsculpt captures that grizzled veteran look nicely, with grey swept-back hair, a neatly sculpted beard, and the black eyepatch sitting snugly over his right eye. The scale mail texture across his torso and legs is a really cool touch, and the blue diagonal strap crossing his chest adds a layer of visual interest to the orange and black color scheme.

Martian Manhunter

Martian Manhunter’s red crossed harness straps meet at a small circular buckle at the waist, and the blue cape drapes behind him with a matching blue collar that frames his green skin nicely. His red eyes pop against the smooth green headsculpt, and the blue boots and trunks keep the color palette tight and faithful to his classic look.

Silver Age Flash

The Flash’s deep crimson suit is uniform from head to toe, with gold accents at the wrist cuffs and gold boots that give him that clean Silver Age look. I like how the lightning bolt chest emblem is crisp and centered within its white circle, and the gold belt sits just right to break up all that red.
