Nemesis Immortal GI Joe Classified Series Reissue Preorder

Reports are circulating that the G.I. Joe Classified Series Nemesis Immortal is getting another shot at retail, with a reissue preorder expected to go live today at BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, Nerdzoic, and Hasbro Pulse. This is fantastic news for anyone who missed him the first time around, especially considering how expensive the figure has become on the secondary market. Nemesis Immortal was originally revealed during the G.I. Joe team’s 10/27 Hasbro Pulse Premium 2024 FanStream before going up for preorder as a Hasbro Pulse exclusive on October 28, 2024, and he didn’t stick around for long. I was one of the collectors who missed that original window, so I’m pretty excited to potentially get another crack at him without paying aftermarket prices. And this is definitely one I regret missing. Hasbro went all-in on the wonderfully bizarre Cobra-La aesthetic, giving Nemesis Immortal seven accessories, removable articulated wings that stretch an impressive 15.5 inches when fully extended, and that wild bio-mechanical tentacle back attachment. The fact that this reissue is reportedly expanding beyond Pulse to several fan-channel retailers should also make him considerably easier to grab this time around. Entertainment Earth already has a Hasbro drop scheduled for 10:00 AM PT on its Drop Zone calendar today, which certainly lines up with the reports we’re seeing. Nothing is official until those listings actually go live, but all signs are pointing toward Nemesis Immortal getting a much-needed second run, and if you missed him like I did, hopefully we won’t have to be quite as quick on the preorder button this time.

Nemesis Immortal comes in a deluxe window box with some wild, fleshy Cobra-La artwork wrapping around the packaging that really sells the bio-organic horror vibe of the character. Inside the tray, the figure is displayed with its massive articulated wings spread wide, an alternate head, two alternate hands, and what looks like two swords and the bio-mechanical tentacle back accessory tucked beneath. The purple, red, and white color scheme on the figure pops nicely against that dark crimson interior tray.
The back of the packaging features a large product photo of Nemesis Immortal with the articulated wings fully spread, along with inset callouts showing the alternate head and the tentacle back accessory. The icy blue backdrop and the grotesque Cobra-La artwork framing the top of the box give the whole presentation an otherworldly feel that suits the character perfectly.
Nemesis Immortal is posed here with the full accessory spread laid out alongside the packaging. The tentacle back accessory is a great piece, with olive-green tendrils radiating out from a central body that gives it a distinctly organic, insectoid look. The alternate head has a more monstrous, almost skull-like face sculpt compared to the hooded default, and the two alternate hands are sculpted into fists.
Nemesis Immortal is posed in a wide, aggressive stance with the tentacle back accessory plugged in, and those tendrils wrap and curl around the torso in a really unsettling way. The white bone-like blades strapped to his forearms and thighs add a vicious edge to the design, and the sculpted texture across the purple and maroon costume has a leathery, organic quality to it. His face sculpt under the hood has a stern, weathered expression with sunken features that fit the Cobra-La aesthetic perfectly.
From behind, the tendrils curling and splaying outward in every direction to create a chaotic, parasitic look. One of the swords is gripped low with that curved bone-white blade angled outward, and the red accents along the blade pair nicely with the maroon knee guards and wrist cuffs.
The deep purple snakeskin-style sculpting across his midsection and legs are super detailed and look very organic.
Nemesis Immortal is posed mid-grapple with what looks like Sgt. Slaughter, tangled up in those massive wings as the two figures tumble together in a chaotic fight scene. The articulation on the wings really shines here, with each segment folded and angled to sell the sense of motion as the membrane wraps around both combatants. The green-armored opponent bracing against him gives a great sense of scale for just how much space those wings take up.
From behind with the wings fully spread, you can really appreciate how the membrane connects to the arms and how the wing joints bend at multiple points to hold this crouched, ready-to-launch pose.
Nemesis Immortal towers behind Once A Man Cobra Commander, and the size difference really shows how large he is, especially with those wings flared wide in the background. The yellow and blue segmented armor on the Royal Guard contrasts sharply against all of Nemesis Immortal’s darker organic textures, making for a great pairing on the shelf.
The wings have a great leathery texture, with deep wrinkles across the membranes and long hooked tips giving them a distinctly creature-like design. I really like how the bone-white shoulder armor carries that same rough, organic sculpting, including the long curved spike extending down the arm. The maroon chest armor and textured purple body add even more sculpted detail, while the white thigh holsters create some nice contrast against the darker colors.
The wings show off just how much sculpting went into the leathery membranes, with raised supports, wrinkled textures, and those long hooked tips giving them a very creature-like look. I really like the subtle green detailing worked along the wings, gauntlets, and lower legs because it breaks up all the black, purple, and maroon without overpowering the design. The bone-white shoulder armor and matching curved blades add another layer of contrast, with the red streaking on the weapons giving them a nastier edge.
The alternate head gives the figure a completely different look, replacing the purple hood with a bone-white, skull-like sculpt that feels much more monstrous. I really like the sharp ridges across the top of the head and the darker detailing around the eyes, which ties nicely into the bone-colored shoulder armor and twin blades. You can also get another good look at the wing articulation here, with each wing able to move independently while retaining all of that leathery sculpted texture.
The huge black wings have a ton of sculpted texture across the membranes, with green veining worked into the recessed areas that gives them a cool, almost alien quality. I really like the long hooked tips and segmented supports running through each wing, especially when they’re opened up enough to appreciate just how much detail is packed into them. The dark wings also work really well with the purple, maroon, bone-white, and red colors used throughout the rest of the figure.
The massive black wings have deeply sculpted membranes, long finger-like supports, and hooked tips that give them a really cool creature-like appearance. I love that the wings are fully articulated and can fold into a much more compact shape without losing all that sculpted detail. The bone-colored blades look great against the maroon and purple armor, with the red accents adding some extra detail to the weapons.
The figure throws his arms wide as eight green tentacles explode outward behind him, and I really like how much bigger and crazier they make the whole figure feel. There’s a ton of texture going on here, from the suction cups running along each tentacle to the maroon armor, purple scaled body, bone-like shoulder pieces, and that wild sculpted head. The twin white thigh holsters are a nice touch too, with long blades hanging down alongside his legs and adding even more to an already loaded design.
