MOTU Chronicles Movie Beast Man Figure Early Look
By the power of Grayskull! We got our first glimpse of the MOTU Chronicles Movie Beast Man during the Masters of the Universe SDCC 2026 panel, where Mattel showed off work-in-progress images and digital sculpt turnarounds that had us all buzzing. But now, huge thanks to @kennervader on Instagram for sharing a much better look at what appears to be the production figure, and boy are we thrilled with how this one is shaping up! The panel gave us a taste of Beast Man’s bulky proportions, layered fur texturing, and those gnarly spikes, but seeing the figure in a clearer production shot really lets you appreciate just how much Mattel is putting into the Chronicles movie line. I always loved Beast Man as a kid, he was one of those characters that just oozed menace on the cartoon, and this Chronicles interpretation looks like it captures that savage, imposing energy while fitting right into the aesthetic of the upcoming live-action Masters of the Universe film. If you missed our full coverage of everything Mattel revealed at the panel, be sure to check out our MOTU Masters of the Universe SDCC 2026 panel reveals and info breakdown for the complete rundown. Between Panthor, Sorceress with Zoar, Goat Man, Man-At-Arms, Buzz-Off, and now this closer look at Beast Man, the Chronicles lineup is stacking up to be something really special heading into the 45th anniversary year. So let’s take a look at the MOTU Chronicles Movie Beast Man!
Here’s a closer look at Beast Man’s movie design from the Chronicles line that we saw as a “work in progress” at SDCC 2026. Even at this early stage, there’s a lot to take in here. The finished figure on the left shows a massive fur mantle with thick, sculpted texture draped across his shoulders, covered in spikes and anchored by a medallion, while heavy segmented armor wraps his legs and forearms with a worn, battle-weathered look.

Beast Man’s whip has a great sense of weight to it, with a thick, textured cord that tapers as it curves and trails all the way to the ground. I like how the orange and brown tones blend across his exposed skin and fur-covered limbs, with those ivory-white spikes protruding from his shoulders, arms, and shins to break up the color palette.

Seen below is a look at Beast Man from the Masters of the Universe 2026 movie, as voiced by Gary Martin. You can see how the new figure resembles him nicely with his big bulky proportions and furry spiked chest armor.
