Mattel DC Legacy Collection Retailer Listings Reveals Possible Lineup
Early German retailer listings may have given us our first look at several releases planned for Mattel’s upcoming collector-focused DC line, including an Ultimate Edition Peacemaker figure, a Total Justice Legacy Collection Flash and Reverse-Flash 2-pack, and a Legacy Collection Iconics Action Figure Assortment. DCCollectors reported the listings after CJ Romain, a member of its Facebook community, discovered them in the retailer’s database. Each entry also includes an item number: JRG08 for Peacemaker, JRG72 for the Flash and Reverse-Flash set, and JRF44 for the Iconics assortment. The Total Justice name immediately caught our attention because of its connection to the 1990s DC action figure line, although the listing doesn’t tell us what Mattel has planned for this new version. “Ultimate Edition” is another interesting name, but we don’t yet know what it means for Peacemaker or how the figure will differ from other releases in the line. These are early retailer listings rather than official Mattel reveals, so there is still a lot we don’t know. But with New York Comic Con just over a week away, the timing certainly has us curious. Toy Habits will be at NYCC covering Mattel’s new DC collector line, so hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer to find out exactly where Peacemaker, Total Justice, and the mysterious Iconics assortment fit into Mattel’s plans.

This lsting is for something called the “Legacy Collection Iconics Action Figure Assortment,” with item number 107-JRF44. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t give us much else to go on just yet, including which characters could be part of the assortment or exactly what Mattel means by “Iconics.”
This listing is probably the most interesting of the three, as it names a Total Justice Legacy Collection 2-pack featuring The Flash and Reverse-Flash. Total Justice was a DC action figure line from the 1990s, which certainly makes the use of that name noteworthy. DCCollectors speculates that Mattel could be revisiting the classic ’90s designs with modern articulation or possibly using packaging that pays homage to the original line. For now, though, the retailer listing doesn’t tell us exactly what Mattel has planned for its new take on Total Justice.
Another listing names a “DC Ultimate Edition Peacemaker” action figure, with item number 107-JRG08. The “Ultimate Edition” branding immediately caught our attention, although the listing doesn’t provide any details about the figure itself. DCCollectors points out that Mattel already uses the Ultimate Edition name for its premium WWE figures and wonders if we could see a similar approach here, potentially with additional accessories and swappable parts. It’s an interesting possibility, but for now, all we really know is that Peacemaker and the Ultimate Edition name appear together in this retailer database.
