Official images of the Masters of the Universe Chronicles Version 2 He-Man have finally surfaced, giving collectors a better look at the updated figure after it has already been appearing on retail shelves for quite some time. The images were discovered through a new Walmart listing and show the revised version of He-Man from the 2026 Masters of the Universe movie. As we previously reported, this release is more than a simple running change, with several differences in the figure’s paint applications. Personally, I would much rather see Mattel focus its energy on bringing new characters into the Chronicles lineup instead of revisiting figures we’ve already received, especially when the changes are relatively minor.
Figure Details
The Version 2 He-Man retains the sculpt and overall design of the original Chronicles release, including the likeness of Nicholas Galitzine from the 2026 Masters of the Universe movie. The most noticeable differences are found on the chest harness, with revised paint applications on the armor and emblem. The figure still features the brown leather-style attire, textured loincloth, wrist guards, and boots seen on the original release.
He-Man stands approximately 6.5 inches tall and features 30 points of articulation. Accessories include the Power Sword and interchangeable hands. For collectors who already own the original figure, the updated paint applications are the main reason to consider picking up this version.

The updated He-Man features a silver chest plate with a red emblem, set against the brown harness. His attire includes a textured loincloth, sculpted wrist guards, and brown boots. The Power Sword and two additional hands are displayed alongside the figure.
He-Man raises the Power Sword overhead, showing off its long silver blade, detailed crossguard, and brown grip. The chest armor features a metallic silver paint finish, with additional silver paint applications on the wrist guards.
This closer look highlights the Nicholas Galitzine likeness, sculpted blond hair, and detailing on He-Man’s chest harness. The brown belt, layered loincloth, and sculpted textures throughout his clothing complete his movie-inspired appearance.
He-Man holds the Power Sword with both hands, providing a closer look at the weapon’s silver crossguard and brown handle. The red chest emblem contrasts with the silver armor, and the wrist guards feature metallic silver paint applications.
He-Man raises his Power Sword with both arms extended, showing the range of movement in the shoulders and elbows. His brown boots feature sculpted straps and layered details.

For collectors who missed the original release, this version offers another opportunity to add He-Man to their Chronicles collection. However, with so many characters still waiting to be made, I would much rather see Mattel expand the lineup than continue revisiting figures that are already available.
