Adidas Superstar x He-Man Masters of the Universe Collection Concept + Figure Tease

Today, artist Calvin Innes posted a concept of what an Adidas and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe shoe collection collaboration could look like. There is also an image of a He-Man figure that nobody has ever seen before. This leaves us wondering if a figure will be accompanied with the purchase of the shoes or if this figure would be a stand alone offering? Probably not because these concepts were generated by AI but they are very convincing and if this can be generated by AI, this is truly amazing as the head for the He-Man sculpt is one of the best we’ve seen.

He-Man Adidas Figure Tease
Along with the release of the shoes, there is a very curious photo of a He-Man action figure that looks nothing like a MOTU Origins sculpt or the new Cartoon Collection line.
The tell tale signs include different thigh sculpts and also the visible pins that are exposed that connect the figure together from the joints. Pardon the gratuitous crotch shot but there was no way around this! It remains to be seen if this figure was designed as a one of to include with the marketing if the figure of if Mattel will be releasing a special edition figure with the release of the shoes.
There is a difference in the bucks between the MOTU Origins and the Cartoon Collection and when compared to the figure from the Adidas announcement, the muscle sculpts are drastically different from one another. In the Cartoon Collection, the legs are more upright that the more squat previous Origins figures. The torso’s have been updated as well to be more proportional to the cartoon as well. The Cartoon collection are still compatible with swappable parts like the rest of the figures.
