Anti-Eternia 200x MOTU Mondo MOTUFest 2026 Exclusive
By the Power of Hellskull, this is one of those announcements that instantly stopped me in my tracks because Mondo has officially revealed that Anti-Eternia He Man is taking over Power-Con’s MOTUFest, and as a lifelong Masters fan, this is exactly the kind of exclusive that gets my collector brain firing on all cylinders. Partnering directly with Power-Con’s MOTUFest, Mondo is bringing an extremely limited 1:12 scale Anti-Eternia He Man to the show, styled in that unmistakable 200X aesthetic, and while we are only getting an initial look for now, more details are set to roll out after the first round of pre-sales kicks off. The figure will be priced at $115.00, and Mondo is keeping things very tight with a strict limit of two figures per ticketed adult attendee and two per vendor, which tells me right away this one is going to be highly competitive once orders go live. There is no promise on how long pre-orders will stay open, and if this sells through before the event, that is it, with the figure only being available on-site if any stock survives pre-sales. Ticket and exclusive pre-sales are scheduled to begin in February directly through the Power-Con website, with exact timing to be announced ahead of time, so following Power-Con on social and signing up for their newsletter feels like a must if you want a real shot. Power-Con’s MOTUFest is locked in for September 12 and 13 in Greater Cincinnati at the Northern Kentucky Coverntion Center. Anti-Eternia He-Man will be made available through BigBadToyStore. Preorders are set to go live on Friday, April 3 at 12pm ET, with the figure priced at $149.99 and a strict limit of 2 per customer. BBTS is currently targeting an October ship date for non-attendee orders. For those planning to attend in person, the exclusive will still be available for preorder with on-site pickup during MOTUFest, while supplies last. The event itself is scheduled for September 12 and 13, 2026, taking place in Greater Cincinnati at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center.
April 3, 2026 Update: Official Images and Preorder Goes Live Today
Anti Eternia He Man 200x Mondo MOTUFest Power Con 2026 BBTS Exclusive comes loaded with accessories, including four swap-out head sculpts each sporting red hair with different expressions, a translucent red power sword, a red axe, and a translucent shield with a metallic silver and red cross design. He also includes two sets of alternate hands in black, along with red wrist cuffs and a silver harness with a red emblem at the center.

Armed with his translucent red power sword and shield, Anti Eternia He Man 200x Mondo MOTUFest Power Con 2026 BBTS Exclusive cuts an imposing figure in his dark color scheme, with deep black skin tones contrasting against the red armor and accessories. The fur loincloth and matching fur boot accents look like actual soft goods material, which adds a nice texture contrast against the hard plastic of the armor pieces.

He carries a translucent red power sword with an intricate hilt sculpt, and the material catches light in a way that gives it a molten, almost fiery quality. The gold and red gauntlet detailing on his forearm pairs well with the matching chest harness, and the red fur loincloth has a nice textured look to it.

The soft goods fur wraps around his boots and shins have real texture and volume, giving the lower half of the figure a rugged, barbarian feel that complements the sculpted armor up top. His head sculpt features wild red hair swept back with a grimacing expression, a solid nod to the Anti Eternia color scheme.

Outfitted with a dark chest harness featuring a red emblem at the center, the figure’s overall color palette leans heavily into black and deep crimson, with copper-toned boots rounding things out at the feet. That head sculpt is really solid, and the way the red translucent axe blade catches the ambient light sells the whole corrupted He-Man concept.

The silver and gunmetal chest armor piece features a hexagonal design with a red cross-like emblem at its center, and the sculpted detailing on the harness straps has a riveted, almost industrial quality. His fur loincloth hangs with a natural drape, and the red belt buckle carries the same emblem motif seen on the chest plate.

Holding his Power Sword aloft, the translucent red blade has a warm glow running through it, and the fur trim on his boots reads as a heavier material than you’d typically see at this scale.

The close-up framing here really lets you appreciate the sculpt work on the shield’s back panel, where the cross framework meets a central hub with concentric rings and textured rivets that give it a real weight. One thing I noticed right away is the red studded strap running diagonally across his chest, a detail that reads cleanly against the darker skin tone and adds some nice visual separation between the harness and the body.

A close-up of the shield’s interior face shows a matte black cross structure with raised rivets and a central disc, framing four quadrants of textured red metallic foil that has a crinkled, almost stained-glass quality to it. The concentric grooved rings along the outer rim add a mechanical feel to the piece, and the small red-capped bolts at the perimeter are a nice finishing touch.

If you want to see Mondo’s other sixth-scale Anti-Eternia variant they created for Design, check him out below:
Anti Eternia He-Man Mondo 1/6 Scale Figure
The lastest 1/6 scale figure from Mondo was revealed at Designer Con 2022 and the folks over at Mondo keep upping their game when it comes to their 1/6 scale figure line! While reusing many of the part from the Deluxe He-Man Mondo 1/6 Scale Timed Edition, there are many differences worth noting that makes this figure a must have in your Mondo collection! First off, they nailed the color palette for Anti Eternia using deep orangey reds against He-Man’s jet black skin. One difference from the previous versions of He-Man that Mondo has created, he will come with translucent accessories, which is worth the price of admission alone!

Getting an up close view of the sculpt, the red eyes really give this figure a “dead” look it! Coupled with the sneer, the overall feeling of the figure has a very menacing look to it. The chest harness is highly detailed and the pieces of the armor stand out for being painted black.

Like the previous Deluxe version of He-Man, he comes with actual furry shorts, and boots, which adds so much texture and goes very well with the aesthetic of the figure. He will also come with a gaggle of accessories, which include a translucent Power Sword, Axe, and battle armor with swappable chest plates! He will also come with two alternate heads, like the deluxe He-Man before him.

Taking a closer look at the translucent battle armor, it looks amazing and it looks even better on the figure!

Changing out the harness for the translucent battle armor adds to the displayability of the figure and the textures play very well off each other.

Origins of Anti Eternia He-Man
So where did this figure come from? Anti-Eternia He-Man comes from the German Audio Plays and if you grew up in Germany, you would have been exposed to the cassette tape that featured this storyline. Spawning from the lore in Germany, this character was made into a figure for the Masters of the Universe Classics line. According to Bleeding Cool:
He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe was far too popular in the nineteen-eighties. All over the place. It even had an audio spin-off He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe dramas that were released on records and cassettes in Germany, making up 37 episodes of more than 40 minutes in length, with an additional 10 Princess of Power tapes, and six specials. These cassettes amongst other things, introduced the world of Anti-Eternia, with an evil alternate universe version of He-Man.

Here is the translated transcript from a small segment of the German audio cassette and you can see that they coined the phase Hell-Grayskull, which has been shortened to Hellskull.
Anti-He-Man: He-Man! He-Man! Take up the challenge and fight me!
Skeletor: By all terrors of hell. That’s Anti-He-Man! He challenges you. He want to fight with you.
He-Man: And I will not hide from him! Quick, you have to go! Destroy the machines! I will distract the creatures of hell.
Man-At-Arms: No, He-Man. They will kill you!
He-Man: We have no choice. There’s Anti-He-Man! Move! Leave me and act! Help me by hurrying up!
Skeletor: Yes, He-Man is right. Come, Man-at-Arms, we have to move quickly!
Narrator: Skeletor, Beast Man, Trap Jaw und Man-At-Arms hastened through the dark fog to destroy the world converter. Orko on the other hand stayed with He-Man as he faced his grim adversary from Anti-Eternia.
(the sound of the power sword being unsheathed)
He-Man: By the power of Grayskull, I have the power!
(once more the sound of the power sword being unsheathed)
Anti-He-Man: By the power of Hell-Grayskull, I have the power!
