We have this special Bow Wave 26 MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection in hand review brought to you by Big Bad Toy Store. has been a long awaited character. Bow was recently teased on Leech’s cardback and we knew that this figure would be coming to the line eventually and now we finally have him in hand! I have to say this is one of my most anticipated characters for the Cartoon Collection as She-Ra needed her companion friend Bow! We want to thank Big Bad Toy Store for providing this copy of Bow MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection figure for this in hand review.

This Cartoon Collection version of Bow looks like he stepped right out of the cartoon! He comes complete with his bow and arrow of course! And he is wearing plastic red flowing cape.

Bow is also Princess Adora’s right hand man and best friend. He is known for his accuracy and can hit targets with great precision from long distances. He wields a magical bow, which is powered by the Moonstone embedded in its center. He is depicted as a blonde-haired character with a playful and charismatic demeanor, often cracking jokes and lightening the mood during serious situations.

He has his signature stache and his chest armor is all one piece connected to his cape. The chest armor has it’s signature heart on the center of it.

Bow is renowned as the best archer in all of Etheria. Equipped with an array of trick arrows, he uses his skills of illusion and his fierce patriotism for Etheria to fight the Evil Horde. This magical weapon allows him to shoot energy arrows, helping him in battles against enemies. In terms of appearance, Bow has a muscular build, often seen wearing a turquoise and purple outfit with feather-like shoulder pads and a distinctive hat. I love how this figure came out, but they should have design either the bow or his hand to be able to hold his arrow. You can only lean it on his hand as shown below. It would have been great if his hand had a notch in it, or the bow had a slot to hold the arrow. Besides that, I think Mattel did an excellent job on Bow!
