New Adventures Skeletor Masters of the Universe Masterverse Box Art Reveal

Roy Juarez keeps surprising us with these incredible box art reveals, and this morning we get yet another one! This one is one of my favorites, but has yet to go up for preorder, it is none other than the New Adventures Skeletor! The box and art for the New Adventures Skeletor was revealed today and he looks freakin incredible! But as Roy mentions in his Instagram post, he confirms all our suspicions that this is indeed a Target exclusive just like New Adventures He Man was! I never watched the New Adventures of He Man cartoon as a kid, but these new figures are so cool, I may have to go back and watch the whole thing! Packaging and Art

New Adventures Skeletor comes back in the Masterverse window display box with the Masters of the Universe New Eternia branding on it.

On Roy Juarez’s Instagram post, he said ” Here’s a look at the packaging and artwork for the upcoming Masterverse New Adventures Skeletor, the Intergalactic Overlord of Evil (exclusive at Target)!”

Based on the cross sell, he should be landing with Wave 9 but we have yet to see him go up for sale anywhere.

Side Panel Art

On the side panel we can see New Adventures Skeletor standing powerfully with a red burst sky behind him in the background.

The details in the illustrations are out of this world (pun intended) and we see a reimagined look of Skeletor for the Masterverse line.

Rear Box Art

On the rear of the box we can see an amazing illustration of New Adventures Skeletor standing on a galactic planet, with a skull shaped planet in the sky behind him, and other moons and such in the sky, behind him.

Up close we can see Skeletor wielding his havoc staff with a cityscape in the background and an ominous moon that looks like Skeletor.

New Adventures Skeletor Reveal

The New Adventures Skeletor, revealed at the 40th Anniversary Press Event, figure continues the line of New Adventures figures, with this new Skeletor figure! Mattel has done an excellent job translating the New Adventure version of Skeletor into the Masterverse line. He comes complete with a removeable helmet, stylized havoc staff, a pair of alternate hands, and a soft goods cape!
