Arctic HISS GI Joe Classified Series Figure Digital Render Reveals
If you’re a G.I. Joe fan who loves seeing an entire environment get built out piece by piece, this latest reveal absolutely hit the sweet spot for me, because Hasbro just leaned hard into Arctic warfare. During a YouTube video drop, we got a full 360° look at the G.I. Joe Classified Series Arctic Assault H.I.S.S. as BMac and Lenny break down the prototype in hand and what really got me fired up were the additional render reveals that followed, as they made it clear they want to keep building out this frozen front. On the Joe side, the Arctic Steel Core Trooper was unveiled with striking blue lens details and gas mask accessories, while Cobra answered back in force with the Arctic Saw Viper, complete with a wolf pelt accessory that leans into a brutal survival aesthetic, and the newly named Drift Viper, positioned as an elite Cobra trooper who survives Arctic deployment and earns his place in the ranks. These figures are slated for preorder in 2026, and between the vehicle, the troops, and the clear commitment to this setting, it really feels like the Arctic battlefield is becoming its own fully realized corner of the G.I. Joe universe, and I cannot wait to see how collectors bring these scenes to life.

Arctic HISS Details
The Arctic Assault H.I.S.S. was presented as a massive, all-white vehicle designed to anchor G.I. Joe’s growing Arctic battlefield, featuring a new “reticulated blizzard” colorway that blends python-style patterning with icy tones for a look that feels purpose-built for cold-weather combat. It includes a newly tooled Arctic H.I.S.S. Tank Driver and introduces several functional and visual updates, such as a removable rear bucket that can clip weapons, a sculpted tarp detail that nods to vintage Arctic vehicles, and a removable top armament system that allows for future customization. The side-mounted machine guns have also been updated with a more sci-fi-inspired design, reinforcing its Classified Series aesthetic while still feeling compatible with earlier H.I.S.S. releases. The Joe team emphasized that this vehicle is meant to enhance winter-themed displays and photography, positioning it as a centerpiece for Arctic scenes, and noted that it marks the brand’s first open preorder, available now on Hasbro Pulse through January 4, with no payment required until it ships next year.
Arctic Steel Corps Trooper
The first figure revealed was the Arctic Steel Corps Trooper, expanding the G.I. Joe side of the Arctic battlefield. The figure features a cold-weather color scheme with blue-tinted lens details and includes a gas mask accessory, reinforcing its role in hazardous, snowbound combat environments. The sculpt builds on the Steel Corps trooper design while adapting it specifically for Arctic conditions.

Arctic SAW Viper
On the Cobra side, the Joe Team unveiled the Arctic SAW Viper, referred to during the presentation as a Rhode Island Arctic Saw Viper. This heavy infantry trooper is designed for close-quarters combat in extreme cold and includes a wolf pelt accessory that can be worn over the helmet, leaning into a more aggressive, survivalist look. The figure uses a snow-themed colorway tailored to Arctic deployments.

Drift Viper
Rounding out the reveals was the Drift Viper, a new Cobra Viper variant positioned as an elite unit that earns its rank through survival in the Arctic. The figure represents a higher-threat Cobra trooper operating in harsh conditions, with a color scheme designed to match the icy environment. Hasbro noted that the Drift Viper concept supports the escalating danger of Arctic battles and helps further build out Cobra’s presence in the setting.
