Battle Armor Cobra Commander, Monkeywrench, & Major Bludd GI Joe Classified Series Leaked Images

As reported by thefullforcepodcast on Instagram, Cuanzai0813 posted an image on Reddit of 5 GI Joe Classified legs. Two of them we can identify as already announced figures, for example the purple leg on the right belongs to Dice, which we already saw leaked images and a digital render for him. The second leg from the left obviously belongs to the Legacy Collection Firefighter so we are going to focus on the three remaining legs in the photo. Let’s dive into this GI Joe Classified Series leaked legs image to see what we can find plus some new leaked images have surfaced!

March 10, 2025 Update: More leaked images

This time we’ve got heads and another leg! We have an exciting update on these new figures, additional leaked images of Battle Armor Cobra Commander and Major Bludd have surfaced, thanks to Shaw Li via thefullforcepodcast on Instagram. You can clearly see Cobra Commander’s Battle Armor helmet with the large Cobra logo on his forehead. Next to him is Major Bludd, but his eye patch looks very modern and not like the original vintage figure, so it begs the question if he will indeed be a Retro Cardback released?

Here we can see a side profile of Battle Armor Cobra Commander’s head, and his leg in a painted prototype sample.

3/8/2025: Previous leak photo

Below is the photo from the previous leak we got earlier with legs, moving right to left of Slice, Battle Armor Cobra Commander, Monkeywrench, The Legacy Firefighter and Major Bludd.

Moving from right to left, we can see what looks like Battle Armor Cobra Commander’s leg. Then next to that is Monkeywrench’s leg. Finally all the way to the left is Major Bludd. Now Major Bludd has already been released in the line, so perhaps it’s a Retro Card version of him.

Battle Armor Cobra Commander

So Battle Armor Cobra Commander has been a long awaited character and it’s great to see that he is in the works! We will take a look at the 25th Anniversary version of Battle Armor Cobra Commander because it’s the closest modern highly articulated figure we can compare the future GI Joe Classified Series version. We can see he has classic styling like the vintage figure, and of course his mask hose. He is wearing a cool red belt with a red holster. His weapons as silver in color which matches the silver on his battle armor.

The vintage version of Battle Armor Cobra Commander was released in 1986 in the Real American Hero O-Ring line. What I love about this figure is the large Cobra symbol on his forehead, which is a signature feature of his Battle Armor costume.

Moneywrench

Monkeywrench is one of the few remaining Dreadnocks to be released. With the addition of Monkeywrench, we will complete the main group of Dreadnocks, at least in my head cannon. For this one, we are going to take a look at an incredible custom by Stronox customs. This custom version of Moneywrench looks amazing. We could imagine the Classified Series version looking similar. I hope they just mold his sunglasses to his face or make a better way for them to hold on. Also Monkeywrench has an incredible bandoleer full of grenades which looks really cool.

Also Money Wrench is wearing his signature red vest and blue jeans with red bandanas on them. From the leg photo, we saw a leg with blue jeans and a red bandana on the calf. Therefore, it’s most definitely Money Wrench!

The original vintage A Real American Hero Money Wrench was released in 1986. He had his signature sunglasses, red vest and blue jeans. This is a classic dreadnock figure and I can’t wait to add him to my Dreadnock display on my Classified shelf!

Major Bludd

Lastly we have Major Bludd. Now Major Bludd has already been released in the line, so this one we are thinking is a Retro Card version of him. For this figure we will refer to a the previous Classified Series Cobra Island Major Bludd, a cool custom 3.75 version by Stronox customs, and also the vintage ARAH version. So below is the Cobra Island version in muted browns and blacks. He had a more modern outfit with a lot of added detail to his chest armor and added wrist and shin guards. We expect the Retro Carded version to be a bit more simplified and in a little bit brighter colors.

Next is a cool custom 3.75 version by Stronox customs. This version resembles the vintage version closer in his brown outfit color and much more simplified vest rather than chest armor. He also doesn’t have the elaborate shin and wrist guards like the Cobra Island version did.

Finally we have the 1983 A Real American Hero O-Ring vintage version below. We expect a Retro Carded Major Bludd to be a closer rendition to this original figure.
