Beast Man and King Randor Coming to MOTU Origins 200x

Big news for Masters of the Universe Origins collectors! We have early information about two incredible 200x-inspired figures coming to the line! First up, a 200x Deluxe Beast Man is roaring into Origins Wave 27, which will officially include He-Man, Tri-Klops, and Stratos, as we previously reported. This Wave will will kick off the MOTU Origins 200x line in Spring 2026. But that’s not all! Another version of 200x King Randor is also on the way, slotted for MOTU Origins Wave 28 as a fan channel exclusive. These reveals mark an exciting continuation of the 200x aesthetic in Origins, giving fans a fresh chance to build out their collections with designs straight out of the early 2000s animated series! As we do not have official images, there are some cool possibilities for the looks of Beast Man and King Randor so let’s check them out

200x Beast Man

Hints of a 200x Deluxe Beast Man in MOTU Origins Wave 27 have us speculating that he could feature a massive black fur mantle with bone-like horns, a snarling head sculpt with green facial markings, bright green bracers and belt, a blue fur loincloth, and spiked black armor inspired by his 2002 design—all reimagined with vintage Origins proportions and articulation. He might also come with an updated black whip accessory, and it’s possible Mattel could reuse some of the larger parts created for the Turtles of Grayskull Deluxe figures to bring his bulky, imposing look to life. While nothing has been officially confirmed, this blend of 200x details and Origins nostalgia would make for an exciting addition to the line.

200x King Randor

In the 2002 Mike Young Productions remake, King Randor is depicted as a courageous warrior who, after the death of King Grayskull and the rise of Skeletor from Keldor, is chosen by the Council of Elders to become King of Eternia—a role he reluctantly accepts after defeating Keldor in a duel that scars Keldor and transforms him into Skeletor. Unlike the 1983 series, where he inherits the throne after King Miro disappears, this continuity ties Randor directly to Skeletor’s origin, revealing their epic battle during the Great Unrest and hinting they may be half-brothers, though neither knows it. As King, Randor marries Marlena and fathers Prince Adam, unaware that Adam is He-Man, yet his bravery and inner strength clearly pass on to his son. Later, following the Council of Evil’s defeat, Randor forms a new Eternian Council with leaders from various species, uniting Eternia under his rule and ushering in an era of peace and cooperation.

King Randor 200x

We don’t know what another version of a King Randor MOTU Origins figure could like as we already had a figure for him produced back in 2023. This youthful, battle-ready version of King Randor looks fantastic in hand, capturing his fierce appearance from the Masters of the Universe MYP animated series. Set against the Rise of the Snake Men card back, Randor sports his striking gold and red armor, mechanical right leg, and an impressive new cape design, all complemented by the nostalgic 200x logo—a real treat for fans.

Randor’s sculpt exudes a regal yet energetic vibe, with a 200x-inspired crown perched above his classic “Burger King” grin, and his staff closely resembling the MYP-inspired accessory from the MOTU Classics line. His face is packed with detail, from the flowing tufts of hair over his golden crown to the intricate sculpting of his gleaming armor, which enhances his commanding, heroic presence.

In the NECA mini stature, King Randor is portrayed as a younger, more vibrant warrior and it would be amazing to see an armor design like the versions in the NECA statues. I doubt we would see a soft goods cape but if they are making more of a fury cape design, like we saw in the King Grayskull figure that in the Eternia Playset display at SDCC 2022, that is definitely doable!
