Blade 1987 MOTU Masterverse Movie Figure In Hand Package Images
The line of Masters of the Universe Movie figures keeps on growing! During the Mattel Revealed event, the MOTU team casually showed the package for Blade and did not really make a big deal about it. The concept for Blade was revealed during the Mattel MOTU Panel at SDCC 2024, and it’s been a long time coming. The head sculpt is actually modeled after the actor, Anthony De Longis, that played him in the 1987 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe movie. Thanks to Kennervader creations, friend of Toy Habits, we now have in hand images of the final production figure! So with out further ado, let’s dive into the Blade Masterverse Movie figure in hand package images!
The sculpt for Blade looks fabulous. You can see that his outfit looks like real chain mail. The details are incredible!
I like how Blade can stow his swords on the hilts on his two hips.

MOTU fandom went over the moon with excitement and now the wait is over because, the lucky fan who received that signed copy has posted photos of the packaging! We get some figures teases on the side of the packaging as well as 2 very nicely illustrated portraits of Blade.
Here we can see some close ups of the packaging and you can see Teela, Evil-Lyn, and God Skeletor on the side of the package.

Blade is looking amazing with his spot on movie appearance and realistic chainmail looking outfit.
His laser whip has a very cool look to as it appears to be energized the way it is sculpted and molded.
Revealed event Reveal
Blade’s 1987 Movie Masters of the Universe movie figure packaging was also revealed at the Revealed event last month. He looks incredible and his box art is amazing as well. You can see multiple other Movie characters on the box art. On the left you will notice the Sorceress, and on the right there is God Skeletor.
According to an anonymous source, Blade from the Masters of the Universe 1987 Movie is coming this April 2025 to the Masterverse line. We are calling it spring 2025 because you can’t always predict when there might be some minor delays so spring is a safer bet. Anyhoo, the concept for Blade was revealed during the Mattel MOTU Panel at SDCC 2024, so we know he is definitely coming to the line, and now we know when! Look at the digital renders they showed at the Mattel Panel, you can see how movie accurate he looks. The head sculpt is actually modeled after the actor, Anthony De Longis, that played him in the 1987 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe movie. Blade art tease
The package features Man At Arms, and some palace guards battling against Movie Beast Man, and you can see Castle Grayskull in the background. There is also a tease for Blade on the box art as well! The rear of the package features a beautiful diorama shot with Movie Beast Man and a series of planets in the Eternian sky. The sides of the box have additional portrait illustration of Movie Beast Man on the left side of the package. Preorders are currently live on Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth!

Here we get a fully view of the stunning packaging art work for Movie Beast Man. You can clearly see Blade in the background, and Man At Arts and his palace guards in the foreground going up against Beast Man.

Blade was teased on the side panel of Beast Man’s box art! So we had a inkling that he was coming to Masterverse back then!
History of Blade
Blade, evil master of the sword looked like a pirate and was featured in the was live action 1987 Masters of the Universe movie.
Blade was a mercenary, and one of Skeletor’s finest warriors. He was a swordsman of great skill, carrying two swords and an array of knives. He had a deep hatred of He-Man, and was eager to face him in battle.
Blade was sent to Earth by Skeletor, along with Beast Man, Karg and Saurod, to find the second Cosmic Key. There, Blade faced He-Man in one-on-one combat, although he retreated with the others when Teela and Man-At-Arms arrived. Blade was then forced to return to Skeletor in disgrace, and begged for one more chance; Skeletor instead vaporizing Saurod, as Blade looked on in horror. When Evil-Lyn intervened to save the lives of Blade, Karg and Beast Man, Blade accompanied her back to Earth.
