Buzz-Off Mondo MOTU Sixth Scale In-Hand Images

Revealed at NYCC 2024 and first put up for preorder back in December of that same year, we’re now seeing the much-anticipated Masters of the Universe Origins Buzz-Off finally making his way into collectors’ hands! It’s always a thrill when the long wait pays off, and thanks to The Kyle Peterson and motucollector.kabi we’re getting an early look at this figure out in the wild, complete with shots of the packaging and figure details. Seeing Buzz-Off in box and up close brings that extra layer of excitement for those who have been counting the days since the initial reveal, and it’s great to get an early taste of how this figure turned out before he starts arriving in mailboxes everywhere.

Box Images

The box images come from motucollector.kabi as they show Buzz-Off is neatly arranged in the box with the large window display giving a clear look at how he’s packaged. You can see the figure front and center with his yellow and brown armor details showing through, while the alternate heads and hands are tucked along the sides in their own compartments. His wings are folded and secured in the tray, and the accessories are placed around him in a way that shows off just how much is packed inside. The textured box design frames everything nicely, letting you take in the full assortment without even opening it.

The box art really shines with two striking presentations of Buzz-Off. On the left, the photography shows the figure posed in a natural setting, wings extended and shield raised, framed with bold yellow borders. On the right, the illustrated art captures him mid-flight, wings glowing as he hovers above jagged peaks with his axe in hand, surrounded by smoke and swarms of Andreenids.

Figure Details

Here we get an up-close look at Buzz-Off courtesy of motucollector.kabi, showing off the incredible sculpt and details. The full-body shot highlights his translucent golden wings spread wide, while the long staff weapon extends forward in a ready stance. The close-up really brings out the textured insect plating across his chest and arms, the layered yellow and black abdomen design, and the piercing blue eyes set into his insectoid head sculpt. The spiked armor on his shoulders and the jewel in his belt add extra depth.

These shots from The Kyle Peterson show Buzz-Off geared up with a massive staff weapon and a bold shield featuring his insect emblem, giving him a heavily armored presence. His translucent wings stretch wide, showing off the honeycomb-style sculpting and golden finish that catch the light. Another look highlights a fierce alternate head sculpt with sharp mandibles bared, paired with an axe that brings out more of his warrior side.

The portraits highlight two very different expressions for Buzz-Off, each packed with detail. One shows an angry face with sharp teeth bared and mandibles pulled back, giving him a ferocious edge. The other captures a calmer, standard look with his fangs tucked and mouth closed, letting the large textured blue eyes and insect-like features stand out.

The helmeted portrait features a gold insect-style headpiece with textured honeycomb eyes and long, curved antennae that add a more armored look. The classic portrait brings things back to a simpler design, with smooth blue eyes and sharp fangs peeking out from his yellow mandibles, echoing his vintage roots while still keeping the modern sculpting detail.
