Catra Masterverse Official Images & Amazon Pre-Orders! Catra Masterverse Official Images were posted to the Yo Tengo El Poder Instagram Page! Here is the link for the Amazon preorder and Catra comes in the standard collector friendly Masterverse window packaging, but this time featuring the “Princess of Power” logo on the front! We have yet to see the artwork on this package, but once we get images, we will be sure to update you. This is truly exciting as Catra might be the first Princess of Power Masterverse figure released at retail. We did get images of the upcoming She-Ra Masterverse figure during Mattel’s great week of reveals back in March, so she can’t be too far behind!
Catra – Princess of Power
Mattel revealed it’s first Princess of Power sub-line character Catra back in March! Catra is a power hungry member of the Evil Horde and is one of Hordak’s minions. Although initially specked out to be She Ra’s main nemesis, the Filmation crew decided to go in a different direction. It’s a mystery where her loyalties lay as in one episode she joins Skeletor to annihilate Hordak to become the Queen of the Magicats. She doesn’t really get along well with others as she often has her own wishes to overthrow Hordak and she does not play nicely with her other female characters in the cartoon, namely Scorpia. Catra comes adorned with her signature cat mask, silver cat faced shield, staff and purple soft goods cape! She looks absolutely beautiful and I am very excited to get our first PoP Masterverse character!
The figure is decked out in a striking red armor set with a sharp angular chest piece, skirt armor, and matching red boots. She wears a red mask with bright green accents over her eyes, and her black hair is tied back into a high ponytail that flows behind her. A dark purple fabric cape drapes over her back, adding extra presence. In one hand, she grips a tall silver staff tipped with a green gem, while the other arm bears a large silver shield detailed with a raised emblem. The accessories and sculpted armor give her a commanding look, ready for action.
